If you read my blog now and then, you may know that I use this Dyalog Insert Book to clean my stamps and stencils, and to pick up paint and ink from my glass mat.  So there are lots of layers on the background.  

Wie mijn blog nu en dan leest weet misschien dat ik dit Dyalog Insert Book gebruik om mijn stempels en stencils in schoon te maken, en om overgebleven verf en inkt op te nemen van mijn glasplaat.  Dus, veel laagjes in de achtergrond.

Today I stamped with Archival inks and white gesso over the background.

Vandaag stempelde ik met Archival inkt en witte gesso over de achtergrond.

I also stenciled with Archival Ink Night Sky, using Ranger Domed Blending Foam.

Ook gestencild met Archival Inkt Night Sky, met de nieuwe Domed Blending Foam van Ranger.

Darkroom Door Photo Stamp - Football #2

Here's another card I made, using the new Football Photo Stamp from Darkroom Door.

Nog een kaartje gemaakt met de nieuwe Football fotostempel van Darkroom Door.

I stamped with Archival ink Petunia, and cut the stamp out, keeping a border around the image.

De stempel afgedrukt met Archival inkt Petunia.  De stempel uitgeknipt met rondom een lijstje.

No black ink on today's card.  That doesn't happen often...  

The Sunshine background stamp was stamped with Prickley Pear and placed behind the image using 3D foam tape.I stamped stars and letters to cut out and glue in place.  

Uitzonderlijk geen zwarte inkt gebruikt.  De Sunshine achtergrondstempel met Prickley Pear afgedrukt en achter de voetbalstempel geplakt met 3D tape.   Sterren en letters gestempeld, uitgeknipt en op de kaart geschikt.

Sunday Scraps - 555

As usual on Sundays, I made a card using scraps (see last photo in this blogpost).

Zoals gewoonlijk op zondag, maakte ik iets met restjes (die je op de laatste foto in dit bericht kan zien).

I stamped the flower over the scrap gel print, and cut it out.  I used an embossing folder, that I had inked with Distress Oxide inks, to fill the background of the white folded with texture and color.

De bloem afgedrukt op het restje gelprint, uitgeknipt.  Een embossingfolder gebruikt, die ik eerst beïnkt had met Distress Oxides, om de achtergrond van de witte kaart wat kleur en textuur te geven.

I love the butterflies from Darkroom Door's new Spread Your Wings set. 

Mooie vlinders in de nieuwe Spread Your Wings stempelset van Darkroom Door.

On the background I use Make Art Blendable Dye Inks, for sponging and stamping.

The butterfly and words were stamped with black Archival ink.  Next I colored the butterfly with Distress Inks and added a few Liquid Pearls dots.

Op de achtergrond gebruikte ik Make Art Blendable Dye inkten om te sponzen en te stempelen.  De vlinder en teksten stempelde ik met zwarte Archival inkt.  Daarna kleurde ik de vlinder met Distress Inkten.  Verder nog enkele stippen gezet met Liquid Pearls.

Be-You-tiful

A background from my stash again.  I used the large Mesh stencil from Darkroom Door, but I don't remember what I used, ink or paint.  I stamped the large Gerbera Daisy using black Archival ink.  I tried pencils to color the flower, but that didn't work.  So I used my Distress Crayons, worked great.

Een achtergrond uit mijn voorraad gevist.  Daar had ik de grote Mesh stencil van Darkroom Door op gebruikt, maar ik herinner me niet of ik met inkt werkte of met verf.  De Gerbera stempel met zwarte Archival inkt afgedrukt.  Ik probeerde met potloden in te kleuren, maar dat lukte niet.  Met Distress Crayons ging het wel.

The saying is from the Beautiful Blooms set.  The arrow die I used is from Elisabeth Craft Designs.

Cupcake

The background is a gel print from my stash. The cut out tag was layered with more tags.  The cupcake is a stamp from Darkroom Door's Eclectic collection, sentiment is from the Sweet Treats Vol 1 set.

Voor de achtergrond nam ik een gelprint uit mijn voorraad.  Onder het uitgesneden label plakte ik nog enkele labels.  De cupcake is een stempel uit de Eclectic reeks van Darkroom Door.  Een tekst erbij uit de Sweet Treats Vol 1 set.

There's no Place like Home

The Flower Garden texture stamp was stamped with Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo.  Next I stamped the birdhouse and label over this print using black Archival Ink and cut out.

De Flower Garden texture stempel afgedrukt met Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo.  Daar overheen het nestkastje en het label gestempeld met zwarte Archival inkt, uitgeknipt.

The roof and pole were stamped again with black Archival ink, cut out and colored with Archival Ink Mulberry.  I also inked the edges and the bird.

Het dakje en de paal nogmaals gestempeld met zwarte Archival inkt, met Mulberry Archival inkt gekleurd.  Dezelfde inkt gebruikt om de rand en het vogeltje lichtjes te sponzen.

World's Best

To create this card I was inspired by the badge of my nephew's football team.  Imagine this in the colors of someone's favorite team for a birthday's card...

Toen ik het kenteken zag van de voetbalclub van een neefje kreeg ik meteen inspiratie voor een kaart.  Kan in de kleuren van een favoriete voetbalclub voor een verjaardagskaart...

I used the stencil from the Make Art Award Winning set with Wendy Vecchi's new Archival inks.

Een stencil van de Make Art Award Winning set gebruikt met de nieuwe Archival inkten van Wendy Vecchi.

Dies from the same set were used. I used my sciccors to cut off the parts at the sides and the bottom. 

 I like the little 'crown' that went at the top of the badge. 

Snijmallen uit dezelfde set gebruikt. Aan de zijkanten en onderaan een stuk afgeknipt.  Leuk 'kroontje' om bovenaan te gebruiken.

The tiny football stamp is an oldie by PSX.  It has about the same size as the circle die in the set.

Het voetbalstempeltje is een oude van PSX.  Het heeft ongeveer dezelfde afmeting als het ronde snijmalletje in de set.

Sunday Scraps - 554

As usual on Sundays I made something using scraps or left over pieces from previous projects.

Zoals gewoonlijk op zondag, maakte ik iets met restjes.

I used the middle butterfly stamp from the new Spread Your Wings set, stamped it with black Archival ink on the scrap paper.  I sponged a blue circle on each folded card, using Make Art Blendable Dye ink and a stencil from Dakroom Door.  After cutting out the butterflies I glued them in place and added the words.

De middelste vlinder uit de nieuwe Spreag Your Wings stempelset met zwarte Archival inkt afgedrukt op het restje papier.  Op de witte kaarten een cirkel gesponst met Make Art Blendable Dye inkt en een stencil van Darkroom Door.  De vlinders uitgeknipt en op de kaarten geplakt.  Onder elke vlinder een tekst geplakt.

The Football Photo Stamp is a new one from DarkroomDoor.  Great stamp for sporty boys and girls.

De Football fotostempel is een nieuwe van DarkroomDoor.  Super stempel om kaarten te maken voor sportieve jongens en meisjes.

I used Distress Markers to ink the stamp.

De stempel beïnkt met Distress Markers.

I added clouds and a blue sky, nice weather is perfect for playing football.

Voor mooi weer gezorgd, door een blauwe lucht met witte wolken te sponzen.

The Criss Cross background was stamped onto a kraft folded card, using black Archival ink.  I chose a saying from the Dream Big Sentiment Stamps.

Om de Criss Cross achtergrondstempel af te drukken op de kraft kaart gebruikte ik zwarte Archival inkt, ook voor de tekststempel.
