Ecoline papers

This weekend I made a new batch of Ecoline papers. I receive a lot of email about which colors I used, so I posted more pictures, with the paints I used. Click on the photos to enlarge, so you can read the numbers (and see how well used my inks are).
Dit weekend nog eens wat tijd genomen om een voorraadje Ecoline papier te maken. Ik krijg vaak email met de vraag welke inkt ik gebruikt heb. Op de foto's hieronder staan de (goedgebruikte) flesjes er bij. Klik op de foto's om ze te vergroten.

I used salt to create spots on this sheet.
En 1 vel zoutpapier.

ETA... Ecoline inks are not available everywhere. Some of my stamping friends use similar inks, but different brands. Julie uses Dr Martin inks, CLICK. And here is a picture of the inks used by Sylvie in France.

PS... Ecoline is niet overal te koop. In Nederland vind je ook de Shadowpaints van La Linea. Sommige van mijn stempelvrienden gebruiken gelijkaardige inkt van een ander merk: Julie gebruikt Dr Martin inks, KLIK. En hier is een foto van de inkt die Sylvie in Frankrijk gebruikt.

Sketch card - Blue Flowers

I used Sandy's sketch on 2Peas here. All stamps are Hero Arts.
Ik gebruikte Sandy's schets op 2Peas voor deze kaart. Alle stempels zijn van Hero Arts.
Used: Talens Van Gogh watercolors on the background, and ColorBox inkpads.
Talens Van Gogh waterverf voor de achtergrond, en ColorBox stempelinkt. Het is een Delfts Blauwe kaart geworden :)

DCM - Photo Finish

My card for DCM Challenge: Photo Finish. It's a trifold card. The stamped frame and sentiment are from De Creatie's "Get Inspired!5" kit.

Mini harmonica card in Maya Road tin

A while ago I made this harmonica card in a tin, for friends when their baby boy was born. The tin is Maya Road. All stamping is done with justjohanna stamps.
Een tijdje geleden maakte ik dit harmonicakaartje voor vrienden, toen hun zoontje geboren werd. Het doosje is van Maya Road, en alle stempels zijn van justjohanna.

I heat embossed all stamped images with Ranger Seafoam White embossingpowder.
Alle stempelwerk is geembossed met Ranger Seafoam White.

4" x 4" cards - 10 x 10cm kaartjes

A few cards with justjohanna's new Dutch words. I stamped the sentiment (heartfelt) on a QuicKutz Heart. Other hearts are justjohanna stamps.
Een paar kaartjes met justjohanna's nieuwe Nederlandse tekststempels. "Van harte" is op een QuicKutz hart gestempeld. Andere hartstempels zijn van justjohanna.
Beterschap (get well) and Lime Slice are from the new release.
Beterschap en limoenschijfje zijn uit de nieuwe collectie.

This card is 4" x 4", I made it for a young couple, they are expecting their first baby. The squares are inchies. H2Os for coloring. justjohanna stamps, nest and Dutch sentiment are from the new release.
Een 10 x 10cm kaartje, voor een jong koppel. Ze verwachten hun eerste kindje. De vierkantjes zijn inchies. H2Os gebruikt voor het inkleuren. Alle stempels zijn van justjohanna, het nest en de Nederlandse tekst zijn splinternieuwe stempels.

More use of Hermine's background... Really love these colors and patterns. All justjohanna stamps.

Hermine's background

Hermine shares this beautiful background on her blog. She challenges us to use it on a card, ATC,... The turquoise made me think of a watery theme, so I used justjohanna's submarine and fishes from the new released stamps. I masked the submarine to stamp the cat. Thanks Hermine!!
Hermine maakte deze mooie achtergrond voor ons, en daagt ons uit om hem te gebruiken op een kaart, ATC,... De kleur turquoise doet me aan een water thema denken, dus gebruikte ik de duikboot en visjes van de nieuwe justjohanna stempels. Een maskertje gemaakt om de kat in de duikboot te stempelen. Dankjewel Hermine!

White Cards - justjohanna

A set of white cards, size 4" x 4". A mix of several justjohanna stamps. I used some of the brand new images, which are in the online shop of justjohanna rubberstamps. H2O's for coloring.
Een setje witte kaarten van 10 x 10 cm. Allerlei justjohanna stempels gebruikt, waarvan sommige heel nieuw zijn. Je kan ze zien in de online shop van justjohanna. H2O's gebruikt om in te kleuren.

Bring on the Cupcakes - 3D card

I used the cage stand stamp and 3 Lacy Circle stamps to create this cakestand. I cut 3 slits in the card and drew the scallops.
Ik gebruikte de voet van de vogelkooi standaard, en 3 geschulpte circels voor deze koekjes étagère. Insnijdingen in de kaart gemaakt en een schulprandje getekend.


I stamped the mini cupcakes on the lacy circles and cut around them, so they can stand upright.
De mini cupcakes zijn uitgesneden, zo kunnen ze rechtop staan.


If I take out the "plates" the card can be sent in an envelope ;)
Om de kaart in een omslag te krijgen moet je wel even de "borden" eruit nemen ;)

DCM - It's About Time

Here's an ATC I made for the DCM Challenge It's About Time.
Een ATC voor de It's About Time Challenge van Daring Cardmakers.

This is what I did: I stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with clear EP.
Zo heb ik het gemaakt: Gestempeld met Versamark en met kleurloos embossingpoeder ge-embossed (hoe schrijf je dit eigenlijk *lol*)


I rubbed the ATC with Colorbox Fluid Chalk inkpads. I used a paper towel to remove the excess.
Met Colorbox Fluid Chalk inktkussen ingewreven, overschot met een stukje keukenpapier afgewreven.


I covered the ATC with paper, en used a hot iron to remove the embossing, as you can see on the photo, the embossing is now sticking on the white paper.
Met een stuk papier bedekt, en met een hete strijkbout de embossing verwijderd. Zoals je ziet kleeft die nu aan het wit papier.


Over stamped with Black Versafine ink.
Met zwarte Versafine inkt over alles heen gestempeld.


Cut out a stamped bird image, inked the edges of my ATC, matted on black cardstock.
Gestempelde vogel uitgeknipt, opgeplakt, randjes gesponst, op zwart karton gemat.

Get Inspired! Card

I wanted to stamp a card, using stamps from each "Get Inspired!" kit so far. So this is it. I stamped, masked and sponged... cut and pasted
Ik wilde al een tijdje een kaart stempelen met stempels uit elke "Get Inspired!" kit tot nu toe. En dit is het geworden. Gestempeld, gemaskerd en gesponst, geknipt en geplakt.

What I used on this card...

Kit 6 is going to be released in september, I think you can subscribe until August 4th...The stamps come unmounted, but I mount all stamps on woodblocks, and store them in these home made trays, ready to use.
De nieuwe kit komt in september, ik denk dat je nog tot 4 augustus kan inschrijven. De stempels zijn ongemonteerd, maar ik plak ze allemaal op houtblokjes, en stapel ze in deze zelfgemaakte bakjes, klaar voor gebruik.

Four Birthday Cards

Four quick and easy birthday cards, same color scheme, different sizes. I used 2 justjohanna stamps, and a photo.
Vier eenvoudige kaartjes, die vlug gemaakt zijn. Zelfde kleuren, andere maten. Ik gebruikte 2 justjohanna stempels, en een foto.

This one is 4" x 4".
Deze is 10 x 10 cm.

This one is 8" x 4".
En deze is 20 x 10 cm.
