 On a Distress Ink background I stamped the Circles Background stamps by Art Journey.

The flower and butterfly are from the Butterfly Wishes set, an older set, but still beautiful :)

Op een achtergrond van Distress inkt drukte ik de Circles Background van Art Journey af met Archival inkt.

De bloem en vlinder zijn uit een oudere set, maar nog altijd mooi.

A Darkroom Door Brush Stroke stamp was used as grass on this card.  I stamped with Archival Ink Fern Green and Jet Black.  Another quick and easy card.

Weer een eenvoudig kaartje gestempeld.  Voor het gras gebruikte ik een nieuwe Brush Strokes stempel van Darkroom Door.  Gestempeld met Archival inkt Fern Green en Jet Black.

Sunday Scraps - 264

Today I used a piece of scrap paper, with leftover paint from another project, as a background.

I stamped the poppy field with Archival ink.

Vandaag gebruikte ik een vel papier met restjes verf van een ander project als achtergrond voor de klaprozenstempel.

The tag was finished off with tape and machine stitching.

Het label afgewerkt met tape en stiksels.

Black & White - 188

 For my weekly Black & White creations, I always try to make happy/fun cards.  But this week I stamped some simple sympathy cards.  Card size is 4 x 4".  I love this gerbera stamp, hadn't used it in black yet (I think?)

Voor mijn wekelijkse zwart-wit creaties probeer ik altijd iets vrolijk/grappigs te maken.  Maar deze week stempelde ik een paar heel eenvoudige rouwkaartjes van 10 x 10 cm.  Ik vind dit een mooie gerbera stempel, en ik denk dat ik hem nog niet in zwart stempelde.

I also made the envelopes, so easy with the punch board.

Ik maakte er ook envelopjes bij, heel makkelijk met het punch board.

First I stamped a text background, with little leafs from the Branches set.

Eerst een achtergrond gestempeld met de Text stempel en kleine blaadjes uit de Branches set.

I stamped the insects with black Archival ink, and colored them with pencils.

De insecten werden met zwarte Archival inkt gestempeld, en met potloden ingekleurd.

Branches and Insects are new stamp sets.

Simple White Cards

A set of simple white cards, stamped with Texture Stamps from Darkroom Door.

Words and flowers are from the Bold Blossoms set.

Een setje eenvoudige witte kaartjes gemaakt met Texture stempels van Darkroom Door.

Bloemen- en tekststempels gebuikt uit de Bold Blossoms set.

I used Distress Paints to stamp the backgrounds, and black Archival for the flowers and words.

Distress Paints gebruikt voor de achtergrondjes, en zwarte Archival inkt voor de bloemen en tekst.

After stamping the flowers on this textured cardstock I noticed a nice pattern in the leftover ink on the stamp, had to use it....

Nadat de bloemen gestempeld waren, zag ik de textuur van het papier in de achtergebleven inkt op de stempel, moest ik nog even gebruiken...

Art Journey - Honey Bee

 The giant bee on this card is a new stamp by Art Journey.

I stamped the bee with Archival ink, and colored it with pencils.

Then I masked the bee and sponged the honeycomb background, using a stencil and Distress Inks.

De reuzegrote bij op deze kaart is een nieuwe stempel van Art Journey.

Gestempeld met Archival inkt en ingekleurd met potloden.

Daarna de bij bedekt met een maskertje en de achtergrond gesponst met Distress Inkt en een stencil.

 An easy card, made with Darkroom Door's Brush Strokes stamps.

I stamped a colorful background with different Distress inks.

Brushes, pens and words from the Artist set are stamped with black Archival ink.

Een makkelijk kaartje gestempeld met de nieuwe Brush Strokes stempels van Darkroom Door.

Ik stempelde een kleurrijke achtergrond met verschillende Distress inkten.

De penselen, pen en tekst uit de Artist set stempelde ik met zwarte Archival inkt.

Black & White - 187

 I had fun shrinking the Carved Birds on this card.

De Carved Birds op krimpfolie, dat wou ik vandaag eens proberen.

 I stamped a new brush stroke stamp from Darkroom Door at the bottom of the card, so the birds had something to stand on.

Onderaan een nieuwe brush stroke stempel van Darkroom Door gebruikt, zodat de vogels ergens op konden staan.

 The stack of birds was a bit tricky to shrink.  Looks like the upper bird is going to slip off.

De stapel vogels was niet zo makkelijk te "krimpen".  De vogel bovenaan lijkt weg te glijden.

There's No Place Like Home

 On this card I used a resist technique with heat embossing.

I stamped the Carved Houses with Versamark ink on book text, heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  I colored the paper with Distress Inks and a blending tool, and with Distress Stains.

Bij dit kaartje gebruikte ik een resist techniek met embossing.

De Carved Houses met Versamark op boekpapier gestempeld, geëmbossed met kleurloos embossingpoeder.  Daarna het papier gekleurd met Distress ink en blending tools, en met Distress Stains.

 Sentiment is from Darkroom Door's Home Sweet Home set.

Tekststempel komt uit de Home Sweet Home set van Darkroom Door.

 I used machine stitching, twine and corrugated cardboard to finish off the card.

De kaart afgewerkt met stiksels, ribkarton en een touwtje.

Textured Tags

 Darkroom Door released new Texture stamps recently.  I love them!  I used them on these tags.

Darkroom Door bracht onlangs nieuwe Texture stempels uit.  Ze zijn superleuk om te gebruiken!

 I started with a layer of modelling paste, and pressed the Texture stamps into the wet paste.  Immediately cleaned the stamps.

 Begonnen met een laagje modelling paste, en daar de Texture stempels in gedrukt. De stempels meteen gereinigd.

I colored the textured backgrounds with these Distress Paints, misted water to blend the colors.

De achtergronden met deze Distress Paints gekleurd, beetje water verneveld om de kleuren in elkaar te laten overlopen.

I didn't want to cover up too much of the backgrounds, so I used Filmstrips and Wordstrips from Darkroom Door's Bright Blossoms Collection, some ribbon and tulle, and a punched heart.

Omdat ik de achtergronden niet helemaal wou bedekken, koos ik voor filmstrips en wordstrips van Darkroom Door's Bright Blossoms collectie, een stukje lint en tule, en een geponst hart om de labels af te werken.
