Very quick and super easy :) Love these new stamps by Aud Design. I used them as medaillons here, stamped on Ecoline paper. PP is Sizzix.

Straight From The Heart

So, here's the first card I made with Aud's new stamps, which arrived today. I stamped on glossy photo paper with Colorbox Fluid Chalk inks.

Dit is de eerste kaart die ik maakte met Aud's nieuwe stempels. Ze waren vandaag bij de post. Ik heb met Colorbox Fluid Chalk inkt op glanzend fotopapier gestempeld.

Mini Cards

Kristy (Brayergirl) started her color challenges again on 2Peas. This week it's red/green/white as you can see. Stamps are Maryse Carrier and Artemio. The ladybird and vellum flowers were left-overs from cards I made before. I colored the ladybird with Ecoline.

Kristy (Brayergirl) is opnieuw begonnen met de kleuren-uitdagingen op 2Peas. Deze week is het rood/wit/groen geworden, zoals je kan zien. Stempels van Maryse Carrier en Artemio. Het lieveheersbeestje en de vellum bloemen had ik nog liggen van eerder gemaakte kaarten. Lieveheersbeestje is ingekleurd met Ecoline.

This week's sketch on 2Peas is by Scrappin_mimi. I used Ecoline, bleach, heat embossing on the square, and masking to sponge the circle. Stamps by Maryse Carrier (words and dots) and Stampers Anonymous Tim Holz' Collection.

Deze week werd de schets op 2Peas bedacht door Scrappin_mimi. Voor het vierkant gebruikte ik Ecoline, bleek en embossing. De cirkel werd gemaskerd en gesponst. Stempels van Maryse Carrier (tekst en rondjes) en Stampers Anonymous Tim Holz Collection.

Zorana's Blog

While surfing the blogosphere this week, I discovered another amazing blog: ZORANA. A lot of gorgeous cards, journals, sketches,... I loved the birds in this post especially. Zorana (I'm not sure if this is her real name) sketched them while she was talking to her mom on the phone :) Imagine that!
Bij het surfen door de blogosphere ontdekte ik deze week weer een pareltje van een blog: ZORANA. Je vindt er prachtige kaarten, dagboeken, schetsen, ... De vogels in deze post bevoorbeeld, ze zijn toch echt mooi!! Zorana (ik weet niet zeker of dit haar echte naam is) maakte de schetsen terwijl ze met haar moeder telefoneerde :) Stel je voor!

Adorable

I finished a big swap today, but I can't show yet... So I could finally try some of my new stamps I bought at the event in Nuland (Holland) last weekend. I just stamped this adorable image, designed by Hermine, available at Art Journey (Holland), on some backgrounds I had. I used the green one in my previous posts too (Distress Ink). Image is stamped with India Ink Black. Script is Hero Arts, stamped with Adirondack #Lettuce.

Vandaag maakte ik een grote swap af, maar daar kan ik voorlopig niets van laten zien... Eindelijk kon ik mijn nieuwe stempels proberen, die ik vorig weekend in Nuland kocht. Deze schattige stempel is ontworpen door Hermine, en is te koop bij Art Journey. De groene achtergrond had ik nog, ik heb er met India Ink Black op gestempeld. Script (Hero Arts) is gestempeld met Adirondack #Lettuce.

I don't remember which ink I used on this background, probably Ecoline, Image is stamped with Colorbox Fluid Chalk #chestnut Roan.

Ik weet niet meer welke inkt ik hier voor de achtergrond gebruikt heb, waarschijnlijk Ecoline. Ik heb er met Colorbox Fluid Chalk #Chestnut Roan op gestempeld.

ATC block

I had some left-over Distress Ink paper from Isa's Challenge. I used it to decorate this ATC block. All stamps by Auddesign.

Voor Isa's uitdaging had ik een Distress Ink achtergrond gemaakt. De overschotjes heb ik gebruikt om dit ATC blokje te decoreren. Stempels van Auddesign.

I made this card for Isa's Distress Challenge. She describes the technique on her blog and in her beautiful book "Les Encres". I used Distress Ink #Mustard Seed and Peeled Paint. All stamps are by Auddesign, except the butterflies (Leave Memories)

Emilia's blog

A few weeks ago I discovered this wonderful blog {Handmade Card} by {Emilia}, Emilia lives in Taiwan, and I can only read the parts that are written in English, but the step by step pictures you can see after clicking on her beautiful cards are amazing. I can't find out if you can leave comments on her blog, but her email address is in the header :)

Een paar weken geleden ontdekte ik Emilia's blog, {Handmade Card} by {Emilia}. Ze woont in Taiwan, en ik kan alleen herkennen wat ze in't Engels schrijft. Maar de stap voor stap foto's die je kan zien als je op haar mooie kaartjes klikt, spreken voor zich. Ik weet niet of je berichtjes kan plaatsen, maar haar email adres staat in the header :)

PS: Emilia startte een nieuwe blog in 't Engels. Dat maakt het heel wat makkelijker om een berichtje te schrijven. Dank je wel Emilia!! Emilia's nieuwe Engelstalige blog.

Nuland

Yesterday my sister Rein, her daughter Leni and I went to THE ARTSpecially event in Nuland (Holland). We had a fantastic day, meeting other stampers/bloggers in person, doing a few workshops, selecting new stamps and finding a lot of inspiration.

Gisteren ging ik met mijn zus Rein en haar dochter Leni naar HET ARTSpecially event in Nuland. Het werd een fantastische dag, veel stempelaars/bloggers ontmoet, enkele workshops meegedaan, nieuwe stempels uitgezocht en veel inspiratie opgedaan.

justjohanna card

All stamps on this 4" x4" card are by justjohanna: Flower Border, Paisley border, Lacy Border and French Words. Heat embossing on vellum. I used my good old border punch, and Scotch vellum tape.

Op dit 10 x 10 cm kaartje gebruikte ik justjohanna stempels: bloemenboord, paisley boord, geschulpte rand, en Franse tekst. Ranger embossingpoeder, een oude randpons en Scotch vellum tape.

I made a "Ghost technique" background on this 4" x 4" card. Thanks to Angelika and Dymphie. They showed this technique at the Artspecially Stamping Event in Nuland (Holland) last year. All stamps are by Hero Arts. Inkpads: Colorbox Pigment Ink (Frosted White), Colorbox Chalk inks, Brilliance Cosmic Copper and Memories Black.

Voor de achtergrond van dit 10 x 10 cm kaartje gebruikte ik de Ghost technique, geleerd bij Angelika en Dymphie op het Artspecially Event in Nuland vorig jaar. Alle stempels zijn van Hero Arts. ATC Folder

This ATC folder holds 6 ATCs. I used a scrap of Ecoline paper on the front to stamp the label and bird on and to punch the QuicKutz photo corners.

In dit ATC mapje zitten 6 ATCs. Ik stempelde het etiket en de vogel op een stukje Ecolinepapier, en ponste er de fotohoekjes uit.
