Oval Stencil Set

Today I'm scharing two cards I made for Darkroom Door using the Oval Stencil set.  On both cards I used the same technique, but different stamps and colors. 

Vandaag toon ik 2 kaarten die ik voor Darkroom Door maakte met de Oval Stencil set.  Bij beide kaarten werkte ik op dezelfde manier, maar wel met andere kleuren en stempels.

Oval Set

 To stamp the Roses Photo Stamp in an oval shape, I have covered the stamp with the Oval frame to ink it up with Archival Ink Vibrant Fuchsia. By inking the stamp this way the stamped image gets a soft edge. 

Om de Roses fotostempel in een ovale vorm af te drukken, heb ik hem gedeeltelijk beïnkt door de stencil er op te leggen.  Zo krijg je een afdruk met een zachte rand.

 The same Archival Ink was used on the Torn Text Background stamp. But first I covered the stamped roses with the oval mask. I used tape on the 4 corners of the cardstock to keep it in place in the Misti.

Dezelfde Archival inkt werd gebruikt met de Torn Text achtergrondstempel.  Eerst bedekte ik de rozenafdruk met het ovaal masker.  Het papier plakte ik op de 4 hoeken vast in de Misti. 

 Love how the soft edge and the halo work as a frame around the roses.

The cardstock was cut to size, the corners rounded and the edges inked with Archival Ink Garden Patina. I chose a stamp from the Hearts stamp set, stamped it with Garden Patina and cut it out. Words are from the Hearts and Simple Sayings Vol 1 stamp set, also stamped with Garden Patina, and cut out. I glued the cut out pieces in place and attached an enamel dot to the heart. The panel was adhered to a white folded card. 

Door de zachtgestempelde rand en het witte boordje werken als een lijstje rond de rozen.

Het papier op maat geknipt, de hoekjes afgerond en de randen beïnkt met Archival Inkt Garden Patina.  Stempels uit de Hearts set en Simple Sayings set Vol 1 werden met Garden Patina afgedrukt en uitgeknipt.  Alles op z'n plek gekleefd, en het geheel op een witte kaart geplakt.  Het hart nog afgewerkt met een Enamel dot.

On the second card I used the Country Cottage Photo Stamp and the Spanish Tiles Background stamp with Archival Ink Tree Branch. Words are from the Home Sweet Home stamp set

Op de tweede kaart gebruikte ik de Country Cottage fotostempel met de Spanish Tiles achtergrondstempel.  Tekststempels zijn uit de Home Sweet Home stempelset.
