Ornaments - Bird Houses & A Winner

 I had fun making these hanging bird houses.  I can imagine them hanging in a Christmas Tree.
I also announce the winner of the Bird Houses stamp set at the end of this blogpost.

Ik amuseerde me met het maken van deze hangende nestkastjes.  Ze zouden perfect in een kerstboom kunnen.
Onderaan dit bericht maak ik bekend naar wie de Bird Houses stempelset gaat.

 I started with these two.  Then I realised I could take some pictures while I made the next ones.

Met deze twee begonnen.  Toen dacht ik er aan om wat foto's te nemen terwijl ik de volgende maakte.

 I've stamped each bird house twice, cut them out.  I added a bit of color using pencils.  The strips are about 1/2" wide.  I made the folds already and added twine at the roof.

Elk nestkastje 2 keer gestempeld en uitgeknipt.  Beetje ingekleurd met potloden.  De strookjes maakte ik 1 cm breed.  Ik plooide ze alvast om ze makkelijk te kunnen lijmen.  En het dakje kreeg een fijn touwtje.

I applied book binding glue, using a fine tip bottle.

Fijne lijntjes boekbinderslijm aangebracht.

 Ready to glue the front piece in place.

Klaar om de voorkant vast te kleven.

 One more to do.
