Mini Canvas

I decorated this mini canvas with Adirondack Acrylic paint dabbers, Judikins vellum and justjohanna stampsDit mini canvas heb ik geverfd met Adirondack Acrylic paint dabbers. Het gekleurd vellum is van Judikins, alle stempels van justjohanna.

I also decorated the back, stamped the QuicKutz photo corners, the cardstock background and the sentiment. Made the pictures on one of our walks in our neighbourhood.
De achterkant heb ik ook geschilderd, en afgewerkt met gestempeld QuicKutz fotohoekjes, een achtergrondje en tekst. Foto is gemaakt tijdens het wandelen.

Sketch Card - Summer Time

I wanted to do faux postage as soon as I saw Marshia's Sketch on 2Peas. All stamps are Purple Onion Designs except the 1euro value stamps (Invoke Arts). Pssssssst... Michele of Purple Onion Designs is having a sale right now, check out her website.
Deze schets van Marshia op 2Peas deed me meteen aan postzegels denken. Dus heb ik er een paar gestempeld. Alle stempels zijn van Purple Onion Designs, behalve de 1 euro waardestempels (Invoke Arts). Pssssssssst... Michele van Purple Onion Designs heeft een heleboel afgeprijsde stempels op dit ogenblik, kijk maar op haar website.

Mini album - Turqoise

This mini album is about 3" x 3". I used Adirondack Acrylic paint dabber for the cover, Colorbox Fluid Chalk #Aquamarine and Versafine Onyx Black. Judikins vellum. Inside are some black and white photos. All stamps are by justjohanna.
Dit mini album is maar 7 x 7cm. Voor de voor- en achterkant gebruikte ik Adirondack Acrylic paint dabber. Gestempeld met Colorbox Fluid Chalk #Aquamarine en Versafine Onyx Black. Vellum is van Judikins. De fotootjes zijn zwart/wit. Alle stempels zijn van justjohanna.

I used calico and ribbon to create the spine.
Ik gebruikte ecru stof en lint voor "rug" van dit mini boekje.

Connected ATCs

I was inspired by Tania's ATCs when I was making this set for my niece Leni and her Russian friend Irene. They spent almost a month together, but Irene is going home this weekend.
De ATCs van Tania inspireerden mij om dit setje te maken voor mijn nichtje Leni en haar Russische vriendin Irene. Ze brachten een maand samen door, maar dit weekend vertrekt Irene weer naar huis.

The flowers and hearts borders connect both at the right and the left hand side.
De bloemen en hartjesboord passen aan beide kanten bij elkaar.

I used Versamark and soft pastels. Hearts and Hero Arts flower are stamped with Colorbox Fluid Chalk #Chestnut Roan.
Ik gebruikte Versamark en Soft Pastels. De Harten en Hero Arts bloem werden daarna met Colorbox Fluid Chalk #Chestnut Roan gestempeld.

I got the cute buttons from Sylvie, they were perfect here.
De schattige knoopjes kreeg ik van Sylvie, perfect voor deze ATCs.

Card Box - template and how to...

Several people asked me about measurements, tools, instructions about the card box I made. You can see the box in a previous post. So I made a template you can use, the link is at the end of this post.
This photo shows the super simple tools I used: an embossing tool to make the creases, a kraft knife, a paper piercer, jump rings, brad, ribbon.
I can't give exact dimensions, because it depends on the cards you're making the box for. I've measured my pile of cards, and made the bottom part a little bit larger. The hight of the pile is the dimension you need for the A part on the downloadable template. I used 2 sheets of Bazzill cardstock. Instructions are on the template too.

Verschillende mensen vroegen me naar de afmetingen, gereedschap en instructies voor de kaartendoos uit een vorige post. Ik heb een schema gemaakt, de link staat onderaan deze post.
Op de foto zie je het super simpel gereedschap dat ik gebruikt heb: een embossingpen voor scherpe vouwen, een breekmes, een priem, ringen, splitpen, lint. Ik kan de juiste afmetingen niet geven, want die zijn afhankelijk van de kaarten die je in de doos wil stoppen. Ik heb mijn stapel kaarten opgemeten, en de bodem een beetje groter gemaakt. De hoogte van de stapel is de afmeting A die je op het schema ziet. Ik heb 2 vellen Bazzill cardstock gebruikt. Instructies staan op het schema.

Card Box

This is a box I made to keep the beautiful handmade Birthday Cards I received. I stamped the panel on the front with Aud Design stamps.
Deze map maakte ik om de mooie handgemaakte verjaardagskaartjes in te bewaren die ik kreeg. Op de voorkant heb ik stempels van Aud Design gebruikt.

This is one of my favorite quotes, also one of Aud's stamps.
Dit is een van mijn favoriete uitspraken, ook een Aud Design stempel.

I used Bazzil cardstock, photo corners are QuicKutz dies.
Ik gebruikte Bazzill cardstock, de fotohoekjes zijn QuicKutz stansjes.



I used ribbon, a brad and 2 jump rings as a closure.
Met lint, splitpen en 2 ringen is de sluiting gemaakt.


My good old Fiskars corner rounder.
Met deze schaar zijn de hoeken afgerond.

Wonderful Day - Fijne Dag

justjohanna is releasing a lot of adorable new images soon. This strawberry coach is on of them. The strawberry is cut out of Basic Grey paper. Everything around it is colored with twinkling H2Os. I've put a bird in the coach, and thought she needed a golden crown.
justjohanna heeft binnenkort weer heel wat nieuwe stempels. Deze aardbeikoets is er eentje van. De aardbei is uit Basic Grey papier geknipt, de rest is met twinkling H2Os ingekleurd. Ik heb een vogel in de koets gezet, en vond dat hij een gouden kroon moest dragen.

DCM - We've got your number

Our son Rik is turning 26 on the 26th, that happens only once :)

Boy's Birthday Card

Birthday Card (size = 4 x 4") for a big boy who is turning 4 today. The boy stamp was by MeAndMyBigIdeas, (great stamps for kid's cards), flowers, dots and words by Maryse Carrier. Twinkling watercolors and Colorbox Fluid Chalk ink sponging in the background.

Verjaardagskaartje van 10 x 10 cm voor een kerel die vandaag 4 jaar wordt! De stempel van de jongen was van MeAndMyBigIdeas (leuke reeks voor kinderkaarten), de bloemen, rondjes en Nederlandse tekststempels zijn van Maryse Carrier. Ingekleurd met twinkling watercolors, achtergrond gesponst met Colorbox Fluid Chalk inkt.

I Wish...

"I wish..." this all-purpose sentiment can be used on a lot of occasions, love that!! I doodled a frame around it to match the stem/tail stamp and PP. Both stamps, the flower stamp and PP are from the De Creatie's Get Inspired!5 kit. Gems were a present from Sylvie.

"I whish..." dit is een stempel die voor veel gelegenheden gebruikt kan worden. Daar hou ik wel van! Het lijstje eromheen is getekend, het past bij de stam/staart stempel en het bedrukt papier. Stempels, ook de bloemenstempel en het papier zijn uit de Get Inspired!5 kit van De Creatie. Steentjes zijn een kadootje van Sylvie.

Get Well card

I guess sending these lemon flowers, full of vitamines, will make someone feel better quickly :) New images by justjohanna, including the Dutch sentiment. Strawberry labels

These strawberries with their little banner attached are new justjohanna stamps which will be available soon. I'm really happy with the Dutch sentiments in this new batch of images, these say "Thank You" and "Congratulations". I used twinkling H2O's for coloring, and doodled a frame. Size is about 3 1/2".
Deze aardbeien met hun wimpel zijn nieuwe justjohanna stempels die binnenkort verkrijgbaar zijn. Ben echt blij met de Nederlandse tekststempels die in deze reeks zitten. Voor het inkleuren heb ik twinkling H2O's gebruikt, een randje heb ik erbij getekend. De labels zijn ongeveer 9cm hoog.

Hallo - justjohanna's flamingo's

These flamingo's are part of the new release of justjohanna rubberstamps. A lot of fun images will be available soon! I used one of the new Dutch sentiments too.
Deze flamingo's zijn binnenkort verkrijgbaar bij justjohanna. Er zijn een heleboel leuke nieuwe stempels op komst. De Nederlandse tekstempel is er ook eentje van.

ATC swap " Travel around the World"

A group of Belgian ladies is organizing a hobby exposition in September, theme is "Travel around the World". They want to create a huge ATC wall, and they are looking for participants. If you want to take part in this, check out this post on Linda's blog.

Summer Flowers - card

A 4" x 4" card, all stamps are by purple onion designs (definition, words, flowers). I used Colorbox Fluid Chalk inks for stamping and sponging.
