Just Because

I used the small stamps from the Elusive Images "Grungy Brocade" set to stamp a border across the card. The subtle lines stamp and words are from Art Journey (links below). The stamping was done with 3 shades of Distress Inks. Punched border and machine stitching.

Een boord gestempeld met de kleinste stempels van het "Grungy Brocade" stempelsheet van Elusive Images. De fijne lijntjes en tekst zijn stempels van Art Journey. (links hieronder) Drie kleuren Distress inkt gebruikt. Met een ponsrand en zigzagsteek afgewerkt.

Lace - Thanks

I heat embossed the Lace Background and the Stitched Blossom stamp on vellum. The vellum is attached to the cardstock with buttons and ribbon only. I didn't want to use any glue here.

De kanten achtergrond en de gestikte bloem zijn geëmbossed op vellum. Het vellum wordt alleen met knoopjes en lint op zijn plaats gehouden. Ik wou geen lijm gebruiken.

Darkroom Door - Plaid Flower

A quick and easy card: The Plaid Background stamp was inked up with Distress Ink #Weathered Wood. I used it as a background, but also to stamp the flower on. I used Tim Holtz paper distresser on the edges, and inked them with Distress Ink #Frayed Burlap & Weathered Wood. Machine stitching, a button and rounded corners as finishing touches.

Een snel en makkelijk kaartje: De Plaid Background stempel gebruikt met Distress Ink #Weathered Wood, als achtergrond en ook de bloem er op gestempeld. Randen bewerkt met de paper distresser van Tim Holtz, en met Distress Ink #Weathered Wood & Frayed Burlap. Stiksels, knoopje en afgeronde hoeken voor de afwerking.

The flower stamps are inked with Marvy Le Plume pens, misted with water for a watercolor effect. After the image dried I colored the background with Distress Ink #Frayed Burlap. Striped paper from my stash. Dutch words.

Flowers Say Hello

The Grungy Brocade stamp sheet from Elusive Images has some small stamps. I used these to stamp a frame on this Nestabilities Label One. I used Colorbox Fluid Chalk #Azurite and Memories Black to stamp the images, and also to sponge the edges. One of my favorite Hero Arts sentiments is stamped inside the frame.
Het Grungy Brocade stempelsheet van Elusive Images heeft een paar kleine stempeltjes. Die heb ik gebruikt om de rand te stempelen van dit Nestabilities Label. Gestempeld met Colorbox Fluid Chalk #Azurite en Memories Black, dezelfde inkt ook gebruikt om te sponzen. Eén van mijn favoriete tekststempels van Hero Arts nog eens gebruikt.

I used some scraps to stamp these flowers. I also attached a button on each flower, so they are ready to go on a card. I used Glimmer Mist, scraps of ecoline paper, ...
Restjes gebruikt om deze bloemen te stempelen. Meteen een knoop op elke bloem gemaakt, dan zijn ze klaar om op een kaart of zo te gebruiken. Gekleurd met Glimmer Mist, stukjes ecolinepapier,...

I tried one of my new Hero Arts stamps on the background of this card: Dots and Stripes, a cling stamp. I stamped it 3 times, Colorbox Fluid Chalk #Warm Red & Azurite, Distress Ink #Peeled Paint.

I used Brilliance ink to stamp the image on an ecoline background, heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I used bleach to remove the color from the stamped image.

Met Brilliance inkt gestempeld op een ecoline achtergrond, en kleurloos geëmbossed. Daarna met bleek de kleur weer verwijderd.

Another quick flower card

A quick and easy card: Stamped with Versamark ink and colored with Soft Pastels.

Snel en makkelijk: gestempeld met Versamark inkt en gekleurd met Rembrandt soft pastels.

A silly card :)

I used Hero Arts snowman set to stamp this caterpillar. Hat and scarf are in this set too. I colored the caterpillar with pencils and watercolor pencils. The background is sponged with Colorbox Fluid Chalk ink.
Ik hou er wel van om af en toe een onnozele kaart te maken :)

De sneeuwman set van Hero Arts gebruikt om deze rups te stempelen. Muts en sjaal horen ook bij deze set. De rups is ingekleurd met potloden en aquarelpotloden. Achtergrond gesponst met Colorbox Fluid Chalk inkt.

Lace Doily

I used another stamp from the Elusive Images sheet, love this doily stamp!
Weer een stempel van een Elusive Images sheet gebruikt. Dit kantje vind ik prachtig!

The lace doily is attached with a clear button and ribbon. Safety pin and mini tag (QuicKutz) in the center.
Het kantje is vastgemaakt met lint en een doorschijnende knoop. Wit veiligheidsspeldje en mini label (QuicKutz).

Darkroom Door - Index sheets

A few months ago I stamped a laminated index sheet to put in my Darkroom Door Alphabet Medley storage tin. It is so easy to use/store the stamps now. So I decided to stamp a sheet for each tin I have. I used a large clear block, so I could do many stamps in one go. It still was a lot of stamping and cleaning, but I love the result.

Een paar maanden geleden stempelde ik een gelamineerd indexblad om in het opbergblik van mijn Darkroom Door Alphabet Medley set te leggen. Dat is me zo goed bevallen dat ik nu voor elk blikje zo'n sheet gestempeld heb. Dat betekende heel wat te stempelen en schoon te maken, maar ik ben blij met het resultaat. Met zo'n groot stempelblok ging het nog vrij snel. De stempels zijn nu nog makkelijker te gebruiken en op te bergen.

I laminated the sheets. Darkroom Door stamps come in storage tins, so I made the sheets the same size as the tins. I already put the stamps on EZmount, so they stick to the sheets.

De blaadjes zijn op maat van de Darkroom Door blikjes gemaakt. Ik heb ze gelamineerd. Alle stempels op EZmount geplakt, dus ze blijven goed zitten op de sheets.

The stamps stay in place now, even when stored like this in a box.
De stempels blijven nu mooi zitten, ook als de blikjes, zoals hier, rechtop in een doos bewaard worden.

Birthday card - pink/black/white

I stamped with Brilliance ink on a pink ecoline background, heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I cut the image into 3 squares and glued them onto black cardstock.

Afdruk gemaakt met Brilliance inkt op een roze ecoline achtergrond, kleurloos geëmbossed. In drie stukken verdeeld en op een zwart papier geplakt.

White Rose - photo card

A card for all occasions. I used one of my flower photos and added gold embossing.
Een kaart voor alle gelegenheden. Eén van mijn bloemenfoto's gebruikt, met gouden embossing gecombineerd.

I used a stamp that doesn't cover too much of the photo, and embossed the edges also.
Een stempel gebruikt die niet teveel van de foto bedekt. De foto kreeg ook gouden randjes.

Sunday Scraps - 47

Today I used the leftover pieces after cutting Nestabilities ovals again. They are used as frames on these tag and card. I found this green Bazzill cardstock in my stash, with the Hero Arts flourish already stamped on it. So I used green ink to stamp the grass and definition.

Vandaag opnieuw restjes, na het uitsnijden van Nestabilities ovalen, gebruikt als lijstjes op deze tag en kaart. Het groene Bazzill cardstock vond ik in mijn voorraad, de afdruk stond er al op. Dus ook groene inkt gekozen om het gras en de definitie te stempelen.

On this card I layered the frame with stamped/heat embossed vellum. The stamped Odd Bird Planet flower was in my scraps box. I also used ends of ribbon on my cards.

Achter dit witte lijstje heb ik een laag vellum geplakt, gestempeld en Ranger Seafoam White embossingpoeder gebruikt. De Odd Bird Planet bloem vond ik in de restjesdoos. Ook stukjes lint gebruikt.
