I've cut some folded tags to decorate.  Here's the first one.

Enkele dubbelgevouwen labels gesneden om te bestempelen.  Hier is alvast de eerste.

I used Distress Inks to sponge the background, and stamped with Distress Oxide inks and Archival ink.  

De achtergrond gesponst met Distress inkten, stempelen deed ik met Distress Oxide inkten en Archival inkt.

Wrapping Paper

Simple brown wrapping paper, stamped with Darkroom Door stamps using Archival Ink Potting Soil, 

Bruin inpakpapier opgesmukt met stempels van Darkroom Door en Archival Inkt Potting Soil.

I stamped a little happy scene, the boy's name, and framed it with the Abstract 11 stamp.

Een vrolijk tafereeltje gestempeld, de naam van de jongen, en er een lijstje omheen gestempeld met de Abstract 11 stempel.

Hello

Hello!  On this card I combined the pole from the Bird Houses stamp set with the Chicken Wire background stamp.

Hallo!   Op dit kaartje combineerde ik de paal uit de Bird Houses set met de achtergrondstempel Chicken Wire.

Bird Houses & Chicken Wire

First I stamped the pole twice, using Archival Ink Potting Soil.  Covered them with a mask to stamp the birds behind the poles.  I used Distress Markers to ink up the bird stamps.

De paal 2 keer afgedrukt met Archival inkt Potting Soil, en met een maskertje bedekt.  

Om de vogels te stempelen beïnkte ik de stempels met Distress Markers.  

  

Next I stamped the chicken wire using Archival Ink Watering Can.  Flowers from the Gardening Vol 1 set were stamped with Archival ink Fern Green and Thistle.  'Hello' is a stamp from the Bright Blossoms Vol 1 set, stamped with Orange Blossom and Thistle.

Daarna het kippengaas afgedrukt met Archival Inkt Watering Can.  De bloemetjes komen uit de Gardening Vol 1 stempelset, afgedrukt met Archival inkt Fern Green en Thistle.  Ik zocht een grote tekststempel voor bovenaan, dat werd 'hello' uit de Bright Blossoms Vol 1 stempelset, afgedrukt in Orange Blossom en Thistle.

I inked the grass and a cloudy sky using Distress Oxide inks.  Removed the masks to color the posts with Distress Oxide ink Gathered Twigs and a water brush.

Voor het gras en een bewolkte lucht gebruikte ik Distress Oxide inkten.  Daarna de maskertjes verwijderd en de palen gekleurd met Distress Oxide inkt Gathered Twigs en een waterpenseel.

Sunday Scraps - 408

 I have (or create) probably enough scraps and leftovers to do another year of Sunday Scraps on my blog.

 Found these carved birds, I suppose I stamped them to clean my stamps when I made my Christmas blogbanner.  I added doodles and cut the birds out.

Deze vogels vond ik in de restjesdoos.  Waarschijnlijk werden ze afgedrukt om mijn stempels proper te maken toen ik mijn blogbanner voor de feestdagen stempelde.  Met een pennetje werkte ik ze een beetje bij, en knipte de vogels vervolgens uit.

Christmas Blogbanner 2017

I love to make a new blogbanner each year for the Holidays.  And I love to use a lot of stamps on a project like this.  

Ik vind het leuk om elk jaar voor de kerstperiode een nieuwe blogbanner te maken.  En ik vind het niet erg om daar veel stempels voor uit de kast te halen.

The background was made on a craft sheet, using Distress Ink Vintage Photo and Evergreen Bough.

The stamping was done with Distress Oxide Inkpads Vintage Photo,  Peacock Feathers, and Archival Ink Potting Soil.

De achtergrond maakte ik op een craftsheet, met Distress inkt Vintage Photo en Evergreen Bough.  Stempelen deed ik met Distress Oxide inkten Vintag Photo, Peacock Feathers en Archival inkt Potting Soil.

I used Distress Oxide inks to stamp the pine sprigs, words, birds and texture stamps.  The baubles were stamped with Archival ink, and sponged with Distress Oxide ink.

De dennentakjes, teksten, vogels en texture stempels werden met Distress Oxide inkten gestempeld.  Voor de kerstballen gebruikte ik Archival inkt, om ze daarna met Distress Oxide inkt te sponzen.

Tin-spiration #7

Here's a canvas I made, size is 12" x 12".  Inspiration came from a tin.

Een canvas gemaakt, het formaat is 30 x 30 cm.  Inspiratie gevonden in een blik.

I had bought the small tin, but then I noticed the baubles on the larger one.  And it went home with me :)

Het kleine blikje had ik al gekocht.  Maar toen ik weer in de winkel kwam zag ik het grote blik met kerstballen.  Dat ging dus mee naar huis :)

First challenge was to create a matching color for the background on my canvas.  I started with Dylusions Paint Peony Blush, toned it down with Slate Grey, Pomegranate Seed and Distress Paint Frayed Burlap.

De achtergrond van het canvas de juiste kleur geven was al een eerste uitdaging.  Ik begon met Dylusions Paint Peony Blush.  De kleur was te fel, dus deed ik er Slate Grey en Pomegranate Seed overheen.  En Distress Paint Frayed Burlap.

I stamped the birds on white paper.  To stamp the grey bird I used Archival Ink Shadow Grey.  For the white bird I inked the edges of the stamp and the swirls with Distress Markers.  

De vogels werden op wit papier gestempeld.  Voor de grijze vogel gebruikte ik Archival Inkt Shadow Grey.  Om de witte vogel op wit papier te stempelen, beïnkte ik de randen van de stempel en de accenten met Distress Markers.

Next I stamped the Fine Baubles. The large one was stamped with Archival Ink, I used a Distress Marker to color the flowers.  The small bauble was stamped with Versamark Ink, heat embossed with white embossing powder and sponged with Distress Oxide ink.  I used a white Dylusions Paint pen to color the dots.

Daarna stempelde ik de kerstballen.  De grote werd met Archival inkt afgedrukt, de bloemetjes met een Distress marker ingekleurd.  De kleine deed ik met Versamark inkt en wit embossingpoeder.  De rondjes kleurde ik wit met een Dylusions Paint pen.

Heat embossed leaves.

The canvas was finished off with diecut leaves, snowflakes and doodling.

Het canvas verder afgewerkt met uitgestanste blaadjes, sneeuwvlokken en doodles.

 The leaves and words on these cards were stamped with black Archival ink.  I applied masking fluid before I started watercoloring with Distress inks.  To stamp the birds I used Distress Oxide ink.

 De blaadjes en woorden op deze kaarten werden met zwarte Archival inkt gestempeld.  Eerst maskeervloeistof aangebracht op de blaadjes, daarna ingekleurd met Distress inkt en een penseel. Om de vogels te stempelen nam ik Distress Oxide inkt.

 A tag for a lucky bird :)

Een label voor een geluksvogel :)

 These paints and stencils were used to create a layered background.

Met deze verfjes en stencils een laagjesachtergrond gemaakt.

 I stamped the bird and letters with black Archival ink, and used a white pen to add the dots.

De vogel en letters met zwarte Archival inkt afgedrukt, en er met een witte pen puntjes op gezet.

 A mini lucky clover punch was used to make a reinforcement ring.

Een mini klavertjevier pons gebruikt voor het verstevingsringetje.

 Distress Oxide inks were used to do the background on this Easter tag.  

Distress Oxide inkten gebruikt voor de achtergrond bij dit paaslabel.

Cracked Pistachio and a stencil were used to sponge the flowers on the background.  I also used the ink to color the heat embossed vellum flowers.  To stamp the chicken wire I used Oxide Iced Spruce and the bird was stamped with Archival ink.

Met Cracked Pistichio en een stencil werden de bloemen op de achtergrond gesponst.  De achterkant van de vellum bloemetjes werd met dezelfde inkt gekleurd. Om het kippengaas te stempelen gebruikte ik Oxide Iced Spruce en de vogel werd afgedrukt met Archival inkt.

Happy Easter

 I had to make another little gift box.  This one is filled with chocolate easter eggs.

I used the same pattern to make this black & white one a few days ago.

Ik kon het niet laten om nog een kadodoosje te maken.  Het is gevuld met chocolade paaseitjes.

Hetzelfde patroon gebruikt als voor het zwart-wit doosje van een paar dagen geleden.

 I used Distress Oxide ink to stamp the Chicken Wire background stamp.

Met Distress Oxide inkt het kippengaas gestempeld.

 The box has a cut out window.  I decorated it with punched flowers, a stamped bird and the words are from Darkroom Door's All Occasions set.

Het doosje kreeg een venstertje aan de voorkant.  Verder afgewerkt met geponste bloemetjes, een gestempelde vogel en een tekst uit de All Occasions set van Darkroom Door.
