Black & White - 551

Ranger released new doodle stamps by Wendy Vecchi.  Here I used the Floral Doodles stamps on a black & white tag.  After I had stamped the flowers with black Archival ink, I used a black pen on the flowers and leaves, and to do the grid pattern.

Ranger bracht nieuwe doodle stempels uit van Wendy Vecchi.  Op dit zwart-wit label gebruikte ik de Floral Doodles set.  Gestempeld met zwarte Archival inkt.  Daarna gebruikte ik een zwart pennetje bij de bloemen en blaadjes, en om het ruitjespatroon te tekenen.

Sunday Scraps - 606

Today I used a piece of brayer paper to make this card.

Een restje brayerpapier gebruikt om een kaart te maken.

I used the ink bottles from the Pen & Ink set as little vases.

De inktpotjes uit de Pen & Ink stempelset als vaasjes gebruikt.

Flowers and vases were stamped with Versafine ink, and heat embossed.

Gestempeld met zwarte Archival inkt.  De vaasjes uitgeknipt na het embossen.

Flowers and leaves on a sympathy card.

Een sterkte kaart met bloemen en blaadjes.

I used stamps from the Make Art set Country Flowers.  I stamped with Make Art Blendable Dye inks, and also used the inks to watercolor the flowers.

Een bloem en blaadjes gebruikt uit de Make Art set Country Flowers.  De bloemen afgedrukt met Make Art Blendable Dye inkten. De inkten ook gebruikt om de bloemen met een penseel in te kleuren.

Darkroom Door flowers.  And I really love the grass border from the Nature Walk set.  I use this stamp quite often.

I used a background from my stash.  Made these a while ago, when I cleaned an inky stencil on a sheet of white cardstock.

Een achtergrond uit mijn voorraad gebruikt.  Die maakte ik een tijdje geleden, toen ik een beïnkte stencil schoon maakte op een vel wit kaartkarton.

I inked the flower stamps with Ecoline brush pens.

De bloemenstempels beïnkt met Ecoline brushpennen.

Sunday Scraps - 605

As usual on Sundays I made something using scraps (see what I started with on the last photo).  I made another bookmark.

Zoals gewoonlijk op zondag maakte ik iets met restjes (op de laatste foto zie je waarmee ik van start ging).  Het resultaat is deze boekenlegger.

The paper was folded.  It creates a pocket.

Het papier werd dubbelgevouwen.  Je zou nog iets in het vakje kunnen stoppen.

I inked the paper with these Distress inks.  Love the new Saltwater Taffy.  I also used this color to sponge the hearts.  On the Wild Honey background it shows up as orange.  I used a stencil to sponge and draw the hearts.  Then I doodled inside the hearts.

Het papier werd beïnkt met Distress inkten.  Mooie kleur, die Saltwater Taffy.  Die werd ook gebruikt om de hartjes te sponzen.  Op de Wild Honey achtergrond gaf dat een eerder oranje kleur.  De stencil gebruikt om de hartjes te sponzen en te tekenen.  Daarna de hartjes opgevuld met doodles.

Black & White - 548

A card for my Black & White series.

Een kaartje voor mijn zwart-wit reeks.

I stamped the oval from the Small Sketched Alphabet set and the saying from the Party Balloon set with black Archival ink.  I masked the oval, to sponge the dots around it. The Row of Pencils border stamp was stamped, cut out and glued in place.  I only applied glue at the bottom for a 3D effect.

Het ovaal uit de Small Sketched Alphabet set en de tekst uit de Party Balloon set afgedrukt met zwarte Archival inkt, en bedekt met een maskertje.  Stippen rondom gesponst.  De rij potloden afgedrukt met zwarte Archival inkt, uitgeknipt en op de kaart gekleefd.  Enkel onderaan lijm aangebracht, voor een speels effect.

Sympathy Card

On a Distress Ink background from my stash I stamped with black Archival ink to make this sympathy card.

Op een Distress inkt achtergrond uit mijn voorraad stempelde ik met zwarte Archival inkt om dit troostkaartje te maken.

Weeds/flowers from the Nature Walk set, and a twig from the Bird Life set.  The gras border was already there, it is a favorite stamp from the Nature Walk set.

De onkruiden/bloemen zijn uit de Nature Walk set, het takje aan de rechterkant uit de Bird Life set.  Het grasrandje stond al op de achtergrond, een favoriete stempel, ook uit de Nature Walk set.
