Black & White - 544
A thank you tag in black & white.
Een label gemaakt in zwart-wit.
First I've stamped the flower from the new Small Sketched Alphabet set from Darkroom Door all over the tag.
Eerst het label helemaal bestempeld met de bloem uit de nieuwe Small Sketched Alphabet set van Darkroom Door.
To draw a grid pattern I used Wendy Vecchi's Stay-tion and magnets to keep the tag in place. Super easy!
Een ruitjespatroon getekend, de lijnen op de Stay-tion van Wendy Vecchi gevolgd, de magneten houden het label op z'n plek.
Inside the flowers I stamped a small sentiment from the Thank You set. I also chose tiny stamps from the All Occasions set.
In de bloemen drukte ik een kleine tekststempel af uit de Thank You set. Ook koos ik stempeltjes uit de All Occasions set.

Color
A colored version of the black & white card I made last saturday. I stamped on a Distress ink background.
De zwart-wit kaart van zaterdag nog een keer gemaakt, in kleur nu. Gestempeld op een Distress inkt achtergrond.
I stamped the Abstract stamp, a new one from Darkroom Door, with Wendy Vecchi Archival ink Petunia. I also stamped the tiny flower from the All Occasions set here and there.
De abstract stempel Faded Circles, uit de nieuwe collectie van Darkroom Door, afgedrukt op een Distress Ink achtergrond met Archival inkt Petunia. Hier en daar het kleine bloemetje uit de All Occasions set afgedrukt.

Chippies #7 - Macramé
The frame on this card is from Wendy Vecchi's Chippies set 'Bases and Frames' by Ranger. I'm seeing a lot of macramé plant hangers lately, so I wanted to draw mine :)
Het lijstje op deze kaart is uit Wendy Vecchi's Chippies set 'Bases and Frames' van Ranger. De laatste tijd zie ik overal macramé plantenhangers, ik tekende mijn eenvoudige versie :)
I used a backgrond from my stash. I made some backgrounds a while ago, using Wendy Vecchi's Archival re-inkers. I stamped the pot over the background, colored it with Archival ink Orange Blossom. A stencil was used to do the little squares.
Een achtergrond uit mijn voorraad gebruikt. Een tijdje geleden maakte ik een stapel achtergronden met Archival re-inkers van Wendy Vecchi. De bloempot stempelde ik op de achtergrond, daarna ingekleurd met Archival inkt Orange Blossom. Met behulp van een stencil deed ik de blokjes hier en daar.

I inked the frame with Archival inks, and added metallic rub-ons.
Het lijstje gekleurd met Archival inkten, een een laagje metallic rub-ons aangebracht.

Shoot for the Moon #2
Here's a card I made with the new 'Shoot for the Moon' Quote stamp from Darkroom Door.
Een kaart gemaakt met de nieuwe 'Shoot for the Moon' quote stempel van Darkroom Door.
I made a pile of backgrounds first, using Nuvo Shimmer Powder
Eerst een stapeltje achtergronden gemaakt met Nuvo Shimmer Powder.
I've cut a card size piece, using a Heffy Doodle die.
The moon and stars were sponged with Amsterdam Gesso and stencils.
Een stans van Heffy Doodle gebruikt om een stuk op kaartformaat uit te snijden.
Maan en sterren gesponst met Amsterdam Gesso en stencils.
The qoute was stamped with black Archival ink several times, and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
De quote enkele keren afgedrukt met zwarte Archival inkt. Als je snel werkt kan je die inkt perfect embossen.

Maple Leaves #1
Darkroom Door released new stamps and stencils. I made a few cards with the beautiful Maple Leaves background stamp. Here's the first one.
Darkroom Door bracht weer mooie nieuwe stempels en stencils uit. Ik maakte enkele kaarten met de Maple Leaves achtergrondstempel. Vandaag toon ik de eerste kaart.
Darkroom Door Background Stamp
Darkroom Door background stamps are large enough to cover a card.
Instead of using ink, I spinkled pigment powder over the paper, and stamped with water. I was able to do another, lighter print by misting the stamp again.
De achtergrondstempels van Darkroom Door zijn groot genoeg om een hele kaart te bedekken.
In plaats van te stempelen met inkt, strooide ik pigmentpoeder over het papier, en stempelde daarna met een natgemaakte stempel. Ik kon zelfs nog een tweede, lichtere afdruk maken door nogmaals water over de stempel te vernevelen.
I used the Abstract stamp Distressed Diamonds (also a new one) over the stamped leaves, using Distress Oxide ink Shabby Shutters.
De Abstract stempel Distressed Diamonds is ook nieuw. Ik drukte hem af over de blaadjes met Distress Oxide Shabby Shutters.
Saying is from the Gum Trees set.

Shoot for the Moon #1
A page in my Dina Wakley Media Journal, using Darkroom Door's new Quote stamp 'Shoot for the Moon'.
De nieuwe quote stempel 'Shoot for the Moon' van DarkroomDoor gebruikt op een pagina in mijn Dina Wakley Media Journal.
First I sponged gesso through de small Moon set stencil and the large Starry Night stencil.
Eerst deed ik de maan en sterren met gesso en stencils.
The page was sponged with Distress inks Villainous Potion and Prize Ribbon. A brush was used to get a watercolor look. I love the resist look of gesso and Distress inks.
Om de achtergrond te kleuren gebruikte ik Distress inkten Villainous Potion en Prize Ribbon. Met een penseel zorgde ik voor een aquarel-look. Ik hou wel van de resist look van gesso met Distress inkt.
I stamped the quote with black Archival ink, and cut the words apart.
De quote stempelde ik op wit papier met zwarte Archival inkt. De woorden uitgeknipt.
To stamp 'moon' and 'stars' I used the brandnew Small Sketched Alphabet set.
Om 'moon' en 'stars' te stempelen gebruikte ik de nieuwe set Small Sketched Alphabet.
The page was finished off with new Abstract stamps and the little star from the All Occasions set.
Verder gebruikte ik nog hier en daar stukjes van nieuwe Abstract stempels en het kleine sterretje uit de All Occasions set.

Sunday Scraps - 601
As usual on Sundays I made something using scraps/leftovers. Today I used a gel print scrap (see last photo).
Zoals gewoonlijk op zondag maakte ik iets met restjes. Vandaag nam een een overgebleven stukje van een gelprint (zie laatste foto).
I've stamped the beautiful Daisy Chain border stamp over the gel print, using black Archival ink. Love the texture on the Canson XL Mixmedia paper.
De mooie Daisy Chain border stempel van Darkroom Door afgedrukt met zwarte Archival inkt op de gelprint. Cansn XL Mixmedia papier gekozen omwille van de mooie textuur.
I've cut out the flowers and glued them onto a folded card, leaving room for the Happy Birthday Sentiment stamps.
De bloemenrij uitgeknipt en op een dubbelgevouwen kaart geplakt. Ruimte genoeg gelaten voor de tekststempels.

Black & White - 543 ; Faded Circles #2
On this black & white card I used an Abstract stamp from Darkroom Door's new release: Faded Circles.
Een zwart-wit kaartje met de nieuwe Abstract stempel Faded Circles van Darkroom Door.
After I had stamped the Faded Circles with black Archival ink, I chose a small flower stamp from the All Occasions set to fill in some empty spots. I also used a black pen to turn some of the circles black.
Eerst de Faded Circles stempel afgedrukt met zwarte Archival inkt. Daarna koos ik een klein bloemenstempeltje uit de All Occasions set om lege plekken op te vullen. Enkele cirkeltjes maakte ik zwart met een stiftje.
I added a flower from the Fine Flowers Vol 2 set and a saying from the Simply Circles set. Another quick & easy card finished.
Een bloem uit de Fine Flowers Vol 2 set erbij afgedrukt en een tekst uit de Simply Circles set. Weer een eenvoudig zwart-wit kaartje klaar.

Small Sketched Alphabet #2
A masculine card, using the new Small Sketched Alphabet set from Darkroom Door. Before I've cut the letters from the set apart, I stamped them with Versamark ink, and heat embossed with clear embossing powder to do a resist technique with Distress ink Vintage Photo.
Een mannenkaart gemaakt met de nieuwe Small Sketched Alphabet stempelset van DarkroomDoor. Eer ik alle letterstempels van de set uitknipte, stempelde ik ze met Versamark inkt om met kleurloos poeder te embossen. Zo kon ik een resist techniek toepassen met Distress inkt Vintage Photo.
The typewriter from the Vintage Office set was stamped with black Archival ink, cut out and sponged with Distress ink Vintage Photo.
De typemachine uit de Vintage Office set werd met zwarte Archival inkt afgedrukt, uitgeknipt en daarna gesponst met Distress inkt Vintage Photo.
On the white folded card I stamped the Abstract stamp Distressed Diamonds using Distress Oxide ink Vintage Photo. The Sentiment stamps go well with the typewriter.
Op de witte dubbelgevouwen kaart drukte ik de Abstract stempel Distressed Diamonds een aantal keren af met Distress Oxide Vintage Photo. De Sentiment stempels passen goed bij de typemachine.

Small Sketched Alphabet #1
A card I made using the Small Sketched Alphabet stamp set from Darkroom Door's new release.
Darkroom Door bracht weer mooie nieuwe stempels uit. Op deze bloemenkaart gebruikte ik de nieuwe Small Sketched Alphabet stempelset.
Distress Inks were used to sponge the background.
Een achtergrond gesponst met Distress inkten.
The circle stamp from the set was used all over the background with Distress Ink Mustard Seed.
Dit stempeltje uit de set drukte ik over de hele achtergrond af met Distress inkt Mustard Seed.
Flowers from the You Are Everything set, stamped with black Archival ink.
Met zwarte Archival inkt stempelde ik de bloemen uit de You Are Everything stempelset.
Very easy to put the stamps back in place, as the images are now printed on the inside too.
Veel stempels in 1 set, maar nu zijn ze makkelijk terug in de doos te schikken, omdat ze voortaan ook aan de binnenzijde afgedrukt worden.
