Chippies #4 - Flowers Say it All

A heart shaped booklet I made using Wendy Vecchi Chippies by Ranger.  Lots of flowers inside.

Een hartvormig boekje gemaakt met Wendy Vecchi Chippies van Ranger.  Het boekje is gevuld met bloemen.  

Chippies were used on the cover.  The heart from de Bases and Frames set was also used as a template to cut the pages.

Vooraan gebruikte ik Chippies.  Het hart uit de Bases en Frames set gebruikte ik ook als template om de hartvormige bladzijden te knippen.

The Chippie heart and flower were inked with Wendy Vecchi Archival inks.  I used stamps and a stencil from these Make Art sets.  Liquid Pearls on the flower Chippie.

Het Chippies hart en bloemetje werden beïnkt met Wendy Vecchi Archival inkten.  Stempels en een stencil uit bovenstaande sets gebruikt.

Before embossing this heart I inked the Aurelie embossing folder with Archival Ink Leaf Green.

Voor het embossen beïnkte ik de embossingfolder van Aurelie met Archival inkt Leaf Green.

This acetate heart was colored with Alcohol inks. I added a stamped flower and leaf from the Country Flowers set.

Het acetaat hart werd met alcohol inkten gekleurd.  Ik plakte er later een gestempelde bloem en blad op, uit de Country Flowers set.

Sunday Scraps - 598

As usual on Sundays, I made something using scraps/leftovers.

Zoals gewoonlijk op zondag, maakte ik iets met restjes.

Wendy Vecchi MakeArt Stamp, Die & Stencil sets

The flower head was stamped already on a gel print.  I've cut it out and added more color using pencils.  I used a black pen to draw the stem.  Leaves are stamped with black Archival ink.

De bloem was al gestempeld op een gelprint.  Ik heb ze uitgeknipt en met potloden nog een beetje bijgekleurd.  Stengel getekend met een zwart pennetje, blaadjes erbij gestempeld.

Because of childhood memories I couldn't resist this Retro Bus die set.  My first card with these dies is in black and white.

Herinneringen uit mijn kindertijd maakten dat ik niet kon weerstaan aan deze Retro Bus stansset.  Een eerst kaart ermee gemaakt, in zwart-wit.

The scalloped heart Chippie on this card was glued onto a gel print.

Het schulphart Chippie op deze kaart werd op een gelptint gekleefd.

On the rest of the gel print I stamped the flower twice.  I shaped the flowers using the Perfect Stylus and attached them to the heart.

Op de rest van de gelprint drukte ik de bloem tweemaal af.  De uitgeknipte bloemen in vorm gebracht met de Perfect Stylus en op het hart gekleefd.

To finish off the card I used washi tape, and a saying from the Flowers Say it All set.

Tenslotte onderaan de kaart washi tape geplakt, en een tekst uit de Flowers Say it All set afgedrukt.

Lace & Flowers

The background on this card is a gel print I made using lace.

Een kanten gelprint als achtergrond gebruikt op deze kaart.

To stamp the flowers and saying I used black Archival ink.

De bloemen en tekst afgedrukt met zwarte Archival inkt.

I colored the flowers using these Distress Oxide inks.

De bloemen ingekleurd met deze Distress Oxide inkten.

Today I played with some of Wendy Vecchi's new Chippies.

Vandaag ging ik aan de slag met enkele van Wendy Vecchi's nieuwe Chippies.

I chose a flower from the Blossoms set.

Een bloemetje uit de Blossoms set uitgezocht.

To color the flower I used Liquid Pearls and a brush.  In the center I dropped a few tiny beads into the thick layer of Liquid Pearls while it was still wet.

De bloem gekleurd met Liquid Pearls en een penseel.  In het hart van de bloem een dikke laag Liquid Pearls aangebracht, en er enkele kraaltjes in gelegd.

Next I chose a panel from the Bases and Frames set.

Daarna koos ik een paneeltje uit de Bases And Frames set.

I inked the edges with Archival ink Night Sky.  I also used a stencil from the Let's Shop stamp, die & stencil set to do the dots.

De randen van het paneeltje beïnkt met Archival inkt Night Sky.  Met een stencil uit de Let's Shop stamp, die & stencil set deed ik de stippen.

Stamps and a stencil from these sets were used.

Stempels en een stencil uit deze sets gebruikt.

I embossed the panel to add texture, using an embossing folder.

Je kan de chippies embossen.  Daarvoor koos ik deze embossingfolder.

It's difficult to catch the shimmer on the flower and the textured background in one shot. 

Moeilijk om de zachte glans op de bloem, en de textuur op de achtergrond in 1 foto vast te leggen.

Finished off with a saying from the Flowers Say it All set.  

Tenslotte nog een tekst uit de Flowers Say it All set erbij afgedrukt.

Sunday Scraps - 597

As usual on Sundays I made something using scraps/leftovers.

Zoals gewoonlijk op zondag, maakte ik iets met restjes.

I stamped the tulips on the pink background, and the flower heads again on the scrap paper to cut out.  There's a hint of pink on the flowers.

De tulpen afgedrukt op de roze achtergrond, en nogmaals op een restje papier om uit te knippen.  Er zit een vleugje roze op de bloemen.

The leaves are from another tulip in this set.  I used a die from Wendy Vecchi to cut the scalloped piece at the bottom.

De bladeren zijn van een andere tulp uit deze stempelset.  Onderaan een schulprandje gekleefd, uitgesneden met een stans van Wendy Vecchi.

Scraps!  I didn't use the green one today.

Het groene restje gaat terug de doos in, kwam er niet aan te pas vandaag.

Thinking of You

Here's a care I made, using some of the new Wendy Vecchi Chippies by Ranger.

Een kaart gemaakt met enkele van de nieuwe Wendy Vecchi Chippies van Ranger.

I chose a leaf and a few blossoms today.

Ik koos een blad en enkele bloemetjes voor mijn kaart.

A leaf was used as a mask, to ink the background with Archival inks.

Een blad als masker gebruikt om de achtergrond met Archival inkten te kleuren.

This flower was inked with Poppy Archival ink.

Een bloemetje gekleurd met Poppy Archival inkt.

Stamps and stencil from these sets were used to do the leaves, berries, words and dots.  

Stempels en een stencil uit deze sets gebruikt voor de blaadjes, bessen, tekst en stippen.

I added Liquid Pearls to the flowers, and also used bits of torn washi tape.
