A photo stamp on this bridge card.

Een bridge kaart gemaakt met een fotostempel.

Stamps I used are by Darkroom Door.  And I used a Karen Burniston die to cut the grass border.

Stempels gebruikt van Darkroom Door.  Voor het grasrandje nam ik een stans van Karen Burniston.

The Horse photo stamp was stamped with Archival Ink Potting Soil.  I used Distress Inks to stamp and sponge the side panels.

De fotostempel afgedrukt met Archival inkt Potting Soil.  Voor de paneeltjes links en rechts nam ik Distress inkten om te sponzen en stempelen.

The photo stamp was colored in with pencils.

Met kleurpotloden de fotostempel ingekleurd.

Photo Card - Caravan

On this card I used a photo I made a few weeks ago in our neighbourhood as a background for the caravan.  I stamped with black Archival ink.  Bunting was made with a Karen Burniston die.

Een foto uit onze buurt als achtergrond genomen voor de caravan.  Gestempeld met zwarte Archival inkt.  Voor de vlaggetjes gebruikte ik een stansje van Karen Burniston.

Sunday Scraps - 609

Using up my scraps.  Two tags I made today.

Weer eens iets met restjes gemaakt, twee labels.

I stamped the birds on purple cardstock, shading was done with pencils.

De vogels op paars kaartkarton afgedrukt, en bijgekleurd met potloden.

Flowers from Darkroom Door's Tall Flowers set, stamped with Petunia and Jet Black Archival ink.  I also inked the edges with Petunia, and used it to sponge through the dots stencil.

Bloemen uit de Tall Flowers set van Darkroom Door afgedrukt met Archival inkt Petunia en Jet Black.   Met Petunia ook de randen gekleurd en de bolletjes gesponst met een stencil.

Sunday Scraps - 587

As usual on Sundays I made something using scraps or left over pieces.  I used a left over piece from this card.

Zoals gewoonlijk op zondag maakte ik iets met restjes.  Vandaag gebruikte ik een restje van deze kaart.

I've cut out the part in the middle and inked it with the same inks as frame.  I had to find the right colors in the blogpost with the original card.

Het deel in het midden uitgeknipt en beïnkt met dezelfde kleuren als de rand.  Daarvoor moest ik de juiste kleuren opzoeken in het het blogbericht met de originele kaart.

Christmas Accordion Card

Here's an interactive Christmas card I made, using Wendy Vecchi products with Karen Burniston dies.

Een accordion kerstkaart gemaakt met Wendy Vecchi producten en snijmallen van Karen Burniston.

These Karen Burniston dies were used to cut the pages and frames.

Deze stansen van Karen Burniston gebruikte ik om de pagina's en lijstjes uit te snijden.

I used Wendy Vecchi Archival ink English Ivy to ink the pages, and to do all stamping on my card.

Wendy Vecchi's Archival inkt English Ivy gebruikte ik om de pagina's te kleuren en om alles te stempelen.

To do the blue backgrounds inside de card I've cut the panels first.  Love how the panels turned out after embossing them with inked embossing folders. New ink and old embossing folders :)

Om de blauwe achtergrondjes te maken sneed ik 6 paneeltjes uit.  Ik vind het effect wel leuk na het embossen met beïnkte embossingfolders.  Ook leuk om oudere embossingfolders met nieuwe inkt te combineren.

The panels were decorated with stamped images from the Warm Wishes stamp, die & stencil set.  To do the watercoloring I used these Liquid Pearls for a soft shimmer.

Alle paneeltjes versierd met stempelwerk.  Daarvoor gebruikte ik de Warm Wishes stempel-, stans- en stencilset.  Ingekleurd met Liquid Pearls voor een zacht glanzend resultaat.

Because we need a spot to write something down, 1 panel is removable.

Dit paneeltje kan er uit genomen worden om iets neer te schrijven.

Glow in the Dark Dino

A dino in the woods on this birthday card.  The background is a gel print from my stash, where I had used real leaves.  I used dies to cut the dino and tree.

Een dino verjaardagskaartje.  Voor de achtergrond nam ik een gelprint uit mijn voorraad, waarbij ik echte blaadjes gebruikte.  Dino en boom werden uitgestanst.

After I had glued the dino pieces in place I added a few layers of heat embossing, using 'glow in the dark' embossing powder.

Nadat alle delen van de dino op hun plek gekleefd waren bracht ik enkele lagen heat embossing aan.  Ik gebruikte 'glow in the dark' embossingpoeder.

Good to know that this very old embossing powder still works :)

Het embossingpoeder is al oud, maar het werkt blijkbaar nog :)

Found these flowers, stamped and cut out inside the Warm Wishes stamp set storage box.  Love finding things I forgot about, especially on busy days.  I stamped the Criss Cross background stamp with black Archival ink.  Sponged the background with Distress Inks and splattered water drops.  

De bloemen vond ik kant en klaar in de stempeldoos Warm Wishes.  Altijd handig op dagen dat je niet veel tijd hebt om iets te maken.  De Criss Cross achtergrondstempel afgedrukt met zwarte Archival inkt.  Gesponst met Distress inkten, waterdruppels laten vallen en droog gedept.

A princess and unicorn are living in this colorful pop-up castle :)

In dit kleurrijk kasteel woont een prinses met haar eenhoorn :)

Love making pop-up cards for kids.

Pop-up kaarten voor kinderen zijn leuk om te maken.

I used brayer paper from a gel print session, and stamped the dots with Archival ink.

Brayer papier gebruikt van een gelprint sessie.  Ik drukte er de dots op af met Archival inkt.

Here's another castle & knights card I made for a boy.

Weer een kaart gemaakt met een kasteel en ridders, voor een jongen.

Love using Karen Burniston dies to create pop-up cards.

Ondertussen heb ik me al een aantal snijmallen van Karen Burniston aangeschaft, zo leuk om pop-up kaarten te maken.

Bij een kasteel horen ridders :)

I had to think for a while, how I could make them stand upright.

Een systeem bedacht om de ridders rechtop te kunnen zetten.

The card folds flat.

Dichtgeplooid.

Fits in an envelope.

Kan in een briefomslag.

Another knight and castle on the front of the card.  I did the writing on the back of the card.

Ook op de voorkant een ridder met kasteel.  Mijn tekst schreef ik op de achterkant van de kaart.
