Fall is here, it inspired me to do this spread in my art journal.
De herfst heeft zijn intrede gedaan. Herfstblaadjes, avondrood en een roodborstje in de tuin inspireerden me om deze pagina in mijn art journal te maken.
I started with gesso and a layering stencil from Tim Holtz. After the gesso had dried, I used diluted Distress Paint in red and blue to do the sky. The grass was sponged with Distress ink, and the edges of the pages too.
Eerst met gesso en een layering stencil van Tim Holtz de achtergrond bewerkt. Laten drogen en daarna met verdunde Distress Paint in rood en blauw de lucht geschilderd. Het gras en de papierranden zijn met Distress Inkt gesponst.
I stamped the beautiful new
Fallen Leaves background stamp from Darkroom Door twice. Stamped with Archival ink and colored with Distress Paint. I used them to create the trees and the fallen leaves at the bottom of the pages. I also cut a few single leaves. The tree trunks are hand cut.
De mooie nieuwe Fallen Leaves achtergrondstempel van Darkroom Door 2 keer afgedrukt met Archival inkt, en gekleurd met Distress Paint. Daar knipte ik de boomkruinen uit, en maakte het blaadjestapijt onderaan de pagina's. Ik knipte ook een paar losse blaadjes uit, en maakte boomstammen uit bruin kaartkarton.
I removed the background stamp from the stamping block, inked the stamp with grey Archival ink and stamped here and there on the pages. When I showed this page to a friend, she said that the subtle stamped leaves looked like cobwebs.
I used Chitchat stickers from Tim Holtz and Alphastrips from Darkroom Door to add words.
De achtergrondstempel van de stempelblok afgehaald en met grijze Archival inkt hier en daar wat blaadjes gestempeld. Toen ik dit aan aan vriendin toonde, zei ze dat de subtiel gestempelde blaadjes op spinnenwebben leken. Past ook perfect bij de herfst :)
The
bird was stamped on tissue paper, and adhered to the page with matt gel medium.
I stamped some
Carved Leaves from the Vol 1 set and cut them out.
De vogel is op tissuepapier gestempeld met met matte gel medium op de pagina geplakt.
I glued everything in place to create a Fall scene.
Alles opgeplakt om een herfsttafereel te maken.
