To decorate the backside of  this Gerberas page in my Mini Planner I used stencils, Distress Oxide inks, washi tape and a black pen.  I added book paper with Dutch words. 

 De achterkant van deze Gerbera's pagina in mijn Mini Planner bewerkt met stencils, Distress Oxide inkten, Washi tape en een zwart pennetje.  Tekst uit een boek gevonden om erbij te gebruiken.

Sunday Scraps - 484

As usual on Sundays, I made something using scraps and left over pieces.  I started this card with a ghost gel print. 

Zoals gewoonlijk op zondag, zocht ik weer wat restjes bij elkaar om iets mee te maken.  Begonnen met een vage gelprint die ik vond in mijn hobbyhok.

 I used stamps from a Wendy Vecchi Make Art set with black Archival ink and Distress Oxide ink.  I masked the flowers and sponged around them with Make Art Blendable Dye Ink. The same blue ink was used with the stencil that comes with the stamp set.  A black pen was used to draw the stems and around the pink circles.
Stempels uit een Wendy Vecchi Make Art set afgedrukt met zwarte Archival inkt en Distress Oxide inkt.  De bloemen met een maskertje bedekt om rondom te sponzen met Make Art Blendable Dye Inkt.  Dezelfde inkt gebruikt met een stencil die bij de Make Art stempelset hoort.  Met een zwart pennetje de bloemstengels getekend, en een stippellijn rond de roze rondjes.

 I made this quick tag to go in my Elisabeth Craft Design Planner.  So I decorated front and backside.  I used Distress Oxide inks and a Darkroom Door stencil to make a background, and stamped with black Archival Ink.

Nog snel een label gemaakt voor mijn Elisabeth Craft Design Planner.  Dus voor- en achterkant bewerkt.  Met Distress Oxide inkten en een Darkroom Door stencil maakte ik de achtergrond.  Gestempeld met zwarte Archival inkt.

Tyrannosaurus Rex

Another interactive card for a little here who loves dinos.

Weer een interactief kaartje gemaakt voor een kleine held die van dino's houdt.

The dino is a Tim Holtz thinlits diecut.  Painted with Distress Paints.  I used a Carabelle Studio embossing folder to add texture. I used a brad, so the dino can move a leg.  The brad also secures the acetate strip.
Een Tim Holtz thinlits stans gebruikt om de dinosaurus uit te snijden.  Hij kreeg enkele laagjes Distress Paint.  Door de Cuttlebug gehaald met een embossingfolder van Carabelle Studio.  Een splitpen zorgt ervoor dat hij 1 poot kan bewegen, en zet meteen de acetaat strook goed vast.

On the gel print background I stamped some Darkroom Door trees, using black Archival ink.
Met zwarte Archival inkt enkele Darkroom Door bomen gestempeld op de gelprint achtergrond.

Art Journal - Find Beauty

Flower Power

 A white gel pen was used to draw the flowers over the stamped Kombi photo stamp.  

Met een witte gelpen bloemetjes getekend op het gestempelde VW busje.

The extra fold creates a perfect spot for the vertical sentiment.

Een extra vouw gemaakt, waardoor de verticale tekststempel een mooi plekje krijgt.

Sunday Scraps - 483

 As usual on Sundays I made something using scraps.  Today I used a scrap paper, used to clean that lovely Flower Garden background stamp by Darkroom Door.  Not a perfect impression, as you can see on the last picture in this blogpost.  I've cut the piece to size, and stamped the sayings at the left side. 

Zoals gewoonlijk op zondag, maakte ik iets met restjes.  Vandaag gebruikte ik het papier waar ik de resterende inkt op de mooie Flower Garden achtergrondstempel van Darkroom Door op afdrukte.

Geen perfecte afdruk zoals je op de foto onderaan dit bericht kan zien.  Het papier op maat gesneden, en links de tekststempel afgedrukt met Versafine inkt.

 Next I used a favorite Hydrangea flower punch.  I used the same inks from the background to color the flowers.

Enkele bloemetjes geponst met een favoriete Hydrangea pons.  De bloemetjes gekleurd met dezelfde inkten als de achtergrond.

Black & White - 426

 I stamped the cherries on this black & white tag last week, but finished it today with doodling.

 Vorige week stempelde ik de kersen al op dit zwart-wit label, de lijntjes kwamen er vandaag bij.

Meanwhile some Elisabeth Craft Designs dies arrived, love this one!

Happy Birthday

First I stamped the Gerberas photo stamp with Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry.  I used the waterbrush to spread the color.  Next I over stamped with Dusty Concord.   I masked the stamped flowers to stamp the Plaid background around them, using Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide ink.

Om de Gerberas fotostempel af te drukken gebruikte ik Distress Oxide inkt Picked Raspberry.  Een waterpenseel gebruikt om de inkt een beetje uit te laten lopen op de bloemblaadjes.  Daarna er overheen gestempeld met Dusty Concord.  De bloemen bedekt met Post-it blaadjes om de ruitjesachtergrond er omheen te stempelen met Distress Oxide Gathered Twigs.

I added a saying from the Happy Birthday stamp set.

Een verjaardagswens uit de Happy Birthday stempelset maakt de kaart af.

Waterfall Card

 In my stash I found these stamped Bob the Builder images, stamped onto 2" squares.  I must have the stamps somewhere, but couldn't find them.  So I decided the use these squares on a waterfall card.

In mijn bewarium kwam ik deze gestempelde plaatjes van Bob de Bouwer tegen, kleine kaartjes van 5 cm.  De stempels moeten nog ergens aanwezig zijn, maar ik kon ze niet vinden.  Dus besloot ik om een watervalkaart te maken met de plaatjes die ik had.

Sympathy Card

 I had to make another sympathy card...

Weer een rouwkaartje nodig...

 It is a 1 layer card, but I also stamped the backside of the card.  I stamped with Archival ink, colored with pencils and used a stencil with Distress Ink to add texture to the background.

Het is een 1-laags kaartje, maar ik stempelde ook op de achterkant.  Gestempeld met Archival inkt, de bloemen ingekleurd met potloden en op de achtergrond een stencil gebruikt met Distress inkt.

More Sympathy Cards

Birgit Koopsen started a new gel print challenge.  But today I used a few gel prints from last year's challenge.  It is handy to have a stash readay for a quick card.  I stamped the bird house on the gel print background, and once more on another print, to cut and paper piece.

A saying will probably go inside the card when I send it.

Birgit Koopsen is een nieuwe gel print uitdaging gestart.  Maar voor mijn kaartje vandaag gebruikte ik enkele prints uit mijn megavoorraad van de vorige uitdaging.  Het nestkastje één keer afgedrukt op de achtergrondprint, en nog een keer op een andere print op uit te knippen.

Een wens komt waarschijnlijk binnenin de kaart als ik ze verstuur.

Sunday Scraps - 482

As usual on Sundays, I made something using scraps.
 I love pansies, and I really don't know why I stamped these in the wrong color, see last photo :) 
But today I tried to rescue the image by coloring the pansies with pencils. 
Zoals gewoonlijk op zondag, maakte ik iets met restjes.
Ik hou van viooltjes, en ik heb er geen idee van waarom ik die ooit in deze verkeerde kleur stempelde, zie laatste foto :)
Maar vandaag probeerde ik de afdruk te redden door de bloemetjes met potloden te kleuren.  Beter dan ik verwacht had. 

 I've cut out the colored image, glued it onto a cream folded card.  I used the left over piece to cut out a Dutch word (thanks) to finish off the card.
De ingekleurde stempel afgedrukt en op een crèmekleurige kaart geplakt.  De kaart afgewerkt met een uitgestanste wens.

 Only 1 stamp was used on this black & white tag.  I added lines and dots using a Micron pen.

 A vellum page in my mini planner.

Een vellum bladzijde in mijn mini planner.

 Love this vibrant Izink embossing powder.

Mooi felgekleurd  Izink embossingpoeder.

 I was surprised by the nice pale color of the embossing on the backside of the vellum page.

Verrast door de mooie bleke kleur van het embossen op de achterkant van het vellum blad.
