A card in black & white.

Een eenvoudig zwart-wit kaartje.

I used a Sizzix die with the Sizzix Chrome Precision Base Plate to cut the black cardstock. 

Een Sizzix snijmal gebruikt met de Sizzix Chrome Precision Base Plaat om het zwarte kaartkarton te snijden. 

I glued the piece onto a white folded card and added a few raindrops.  

Op een witte kaart gekleefd.  Ook enkele raindrops opgeplakt met Glossy Accents.

I'm enjoying Heather Telford's online class.  Here's another card using a technique from her Floral Faves class.

Leuk, die lesjes van Heather Telford.  Weer een kaartje met dezelfde techniek als het kaartje van gisteren 

I used a Darkroom Door photo stamp, gold embossed.

Een fotostempel van Darkroom Door gebruikt, met embossing in goud.

Colored with these Distress inks.

Met deze Distress inkten gewerkt.

After cutting out the stamped image I decided to use the leftover frame too.  Dutch word die (=thanks) by Els Brigé.

Nadat ik de afdruk uitgesneden had, vond ik het lijstje nog wel bruikbaar op mijn kaart.  Woordstans van Els Brigé om het kaartje af te maken.

Here's another card I made, using the first technique from Heather Telford's Floral Faves online class.

Nog een kaartje gemaakt met de eerste techniek van Heather Telford's Floral Faves online lesjes.

I used the large flower from the Gerbera Daisy set and a vertical sentiment from the Tall Flowers set.

De grote bloem uit de Gerbera Daisy gebruikt op deze kaart en een verticale tekststempel uit de Tall Flowers set.

I've had these Twinkling H2O's for ages in my stash.  Happy to be using them again.

Tof om de Twinkling H2O's nog eens te gebruiken waar ik een flink aantal van heb.

Sunday Scraps - 564

As usual on Sundays I made something using scraps.

Naar gewoonte maakte ik op zondag weer iets met restjes.

I added small flowers from the Full Bloom Vol 2 set and the All Occasions set, and a saying from the Happy Birthday set.  I used the butterfly stencil to sponge more color and cut it out.

Kleine bloemetjes op de achtergrond gestempeld, uit de Full Bloom Vol 2 en All Occasions set.  De tekststempel is uit de Happy Birthday set.

These inks were used.

Met deze inkten gestempeld en gesponst.

I'm a fan of Heather Telford's beautiful work, love her watercolor cards.  So when I saw her new online class 'Floral Faves' I didn't hesitate.

Ik ben een fan van Heather Telford's creaties, haar aquarelkaarten zijn altijd prachtig.  Toen ik haar nieuwe online lessen 'Floral Faves' zag, twijfelde ik dus niet.

Working on black watercolor paper was new to me.  

Nooit eerder met zwart aquarelpapier gewerkt.  

I decided to use my of LuminArte Twinkling H2Os.

Weer een afbeelding bij een woord gestempeld in mijn woordenboekje.  Het is een engels woordenboekje, dus mug = mok, niet het insect :)

The paper is not ideal for coloring with pencils, too slick.

Sunday Scraps - 563

As usual on Sundays I made something using scraps.  I found this piece with imperfect stamped inchies in my stash (see last photo) and tried to safe it.

Zoals gewoonlijk op zondag maakte ik iets met restjes.  Ik vond deze inchies, die heel slecht agedrukt waren (zie laatste foto), en probeerde er toch nog iets mee te doen.

I tried to fix my bad stamping using pencils.   

Geprobeerd om het miserabele stempelwerk met kleurpotloden bij te werken. 

I used a punch to cut 1 inchie, turned it around and embossed it using an embossing folder.  I also punched the hydrangea flower and colored it with pencils.

Een pons gebruikt om 1 inchie uit te snijden, omgekeerd en met een embossingfolder geëmbosst. Ook een hydrangea bloemetje geponst en gekleurd met potloden.

There was room for a vertical sentiment from the Tall Flowers set.

Er was nog plaats genoeg voor een verticale tekststempel uit de Tall Flowers set.

Folded Tag #2

I've cut some folded tags to decorate.  Here's the second one.  I sponged the tag with Distress Inks, stamped with Distress Oxide inks and Wendy Vecchi Archival ink.

Ik sneed enkele dubbelgevouwen labels om te bestempelen.  Dit is het tweede label.  Gesponst met Distress inkten, gestempeld met Distress Oxide inkt en Archival inkt.
