I used a vintage typewriter stamp from Darkroom Door on this tag.

I sponged the background with Distress Inks and stamped the Damask background stamp with Gathered Twigs.

Photo Card - Caravan

On this card I used a photo I made a few weeks ago in our neighbourhood as a background for the caravan.  I stamped with black Archival ink.  Bunting was made with a Karen Burniston die.

Een foto uit onze buurt als achtergrond genomen voor de caravan.  Gestempeld met zwarte Archival inkt.  Voor de vlaggetjes gebruikte ik een stansje van Karen Burniston.

August 22 - Person

This person loves flowers :)

Deze persoon houdt van bloemen :)

Distress Stains were used first to color the tag.  Next I stamped the Flower Garden background stamp using Distress Oxide Victorian Velvet.

Het label eerst gekleurd met Distress Stains.  Daarna de Flower Garden achtergrondstempel afgedrukt met Distress Oxide Victorian Velvet.

I added the thin coat of gesso to make the image stand out against the busy background.

Een dun laagje gesso aangebracht om het plaatje beter te laten uitkomen tegen de drukke achtergrond.

An image from the Elegant Ladies Collage Sheets was cut out.  The saying from the Gerbera Daisy set was stamped with Wendy Vecchi's Archival ink Thistle.

Sunday Scraps - 613

Three cards I made for my Sunday Scraps series.

Drie kaarten voor mijn Sunday Scraps reeks gemaakt.

Stamped some flowers and leaves on a piece of left over paper (see last photo in this blogpost).  I've cut these out.  Added a bit more color to the flowers using pencils.

Bloemen en blaadjes gestempeld op een restje gekleurd papier (zie laatst foto in dit bericht).  Uitgeknipt en een beetje bijgekleurd met potloden.

I used a background stamp from DarkroomDoor to stamp a background before I glued the strip of designer paper at the bottom of the card.

Een achtergrondstempel van DarkroomDoor afgedrukt op de kaarten vooraleer ik de strook gedessineerd papier onderaan op de kaarten kleefde.

Dutch words, stamped with Wendy Vecchi Archival ink Acorn.

Tekststempels afgedrukt met Archival inkt Acorn van Wendy Vecchi.

August 21 - Watercolor

Another quick and easy tag I made for Rachel Greig's Artful August Challenge.

A few weeks ago I made this cover out of an envelope from DarkroomDoor.  But it needed a bit of decoration   I stamped and heat embossed a doily onto a paper doily.

Enkele weken geleden maakte ik dit mapje uit een envelop van DarkroomDoor.  Maar die moest nog een beetje opgesmukt worden.  Vandaag stempelde ik een kanten kantje op een papieren versie.  

It is a cover for my black Dylusions Dyalog Insert Books.

Het is een mapje voor mijn zwarte Dylusions Dyalog Insert journals.

August 20 - Paste

Label 20/31

Distress Stains were used to do the background.  So happy to be using these oldies again.

Met Distress Stains kleurde ik het label.  Blij dat ik de Stains herontdekte.  

On the right hand side I sponged Distress Ink through the Checkered Stencil.

Aan de rechterkant gebruikte ik Distress Inkt en een stencil om de blokjes te sponzen.

Next I stamped the flowers from the Warm Wishes set with black Archival ink.

Daarna de bloemen uit de Warm Wishes set afgedrukt met zwarte Archival inkt.

I don't use paste very often, this one worked well.  But I noticed that I must clean my stencil better.

Paste gebruik ik niet vaak.  Deze lukte goed.  Maar ik moet mijn stencil beter schoonmaken.

August 18 - Fold

On today's tag I made a fold in the leaves, simple, I know.  

De blaadjes naar beneden gevouwen op dit label, eenvoudig, ik weet het, maar kon niks anders bedenken voor het thema 'fold'.

These stamps were used with Distress Ink Speckled Egg on the background.

Deze stempels afgedrukt met Distress inkt Speckled Egg.

The flower stamp was inked with Ecoline Brush Pens.  I used a brush to get a waterolor look.  I've cut a stem and leaves out of cardstock, that was colored with a brush pen first.

De bloemenstempel beïnkt met Ecoline brush pennen.  Een penseel gebruikt voor een aquarel-look.  Stengel en blaadjes geknipt uit papier dat ik eerst groen kleurde met een brush pen. 

Finshed off with a quote from the Etched Flowers set.

Een tekst uit de Etched Flowers set maakt het label af.

August 17 - Quote

Day 17/31 of Artful August Challenge already.  Darkroom Door has lots of quote stamps.  I chose this one today.

We zijn al dag 17/31 bij Artful August Challenge.  Uit de vele quote stempels van Darkroom Door koos ik deze.

To do the moon I used the middle circle mask from the Circles stencil set, and sponged around it with Distress Ink Faded Jeans.

De maan op de achtergrond deed ik met een rond maskertje uit de Circles stencil set en Distress inkt Faded Jeans. 

The small stencil Starry Night was used with gesso to do the stars.

De stencil Starry Night gebruikt met gesso om te sterren te sponzen.

Love this quote.  Stamped with black Archival ink.

De tekst met zwarte Archival inkt afgedrukt.
