Set of ATCs - Elegant Ladies

A set of vintage ATCs I made, using brandnew products from DarkroomDoor:  Elegant Ladies Collage Sheet, small stencils Round Arch Set and  Three Circles set.

Een set vintage ATCs gemaakt met nieuwe producten van DarkroomDoor:  Collage Sheet Elegant Ladies, en de stencil sets Round Arch en Three Circles.  Bij de stencils zitten ook de bijhorende masks.

I used the Round Arch stencil set to draw the shape and cut it out.  I sponged circles using the Three Circles stencil set with Distress inks.

Een stencil gebruikt om de vorm te tekenen.  Uitgeknipt en er rondjes op gesponst met behulp van de Three Circles stencil set en Distress inkten.

I've cut off a 1/4" strip at the bottom to get the right size for an ATC.  Stamps from the Lace set, Global Postmarks and Number Medley were used with Distress Ink Brushed Corduroy.

Onderaan een strookje van 0,5 cm afgesneden om de juiste afmeting voor een ATC te hebben.  Het strookje op de ATC gekleefd.  Stempels uit de Lace set, Global Postmarks en Number Medley afgedrukt met Distress Inkt Brushed Corduroy.

On each ATC I glued 2 images from the new Elegant Ladies collage sheet from DarkroomDoor.  Finished off with words from the All Occasions stamp set.

Op elke ATC kleefde ik 2 plaatjes uit de nieuwe Elegant Ladies collage sheet van DarkroomDoor.  En voor elke ATC stempelde ik een woord uit de All Occasions stempelset.

ATC - Be Free

I made an ATC, that was ages ago!

Lang geleden dat ik nog eens een ATC maakte.

I used the Circle Set stencil with Distress Inks to sponge the sky and sun. Birds, words and twigs were stamped with black Archival ink.

De Circle Set stencil gebruikt om de zon en lucht te sponzen met Distress inkten.  Om de vogels, tekst en takjes te stempelen gebruikte ik zwarte Archival inkt.

I applied Wendy Vecchi's Crackled Texture Paste through the Cloud Set stencil.  I've never seen a crackled cloud in real life, but everything is possible on an ATC :)

Wendy Vecchi's Crackled Texture Paste aangebracht door de Cloud Set stencil.  Dat leverde mooie barstjes op.  In het echt zag ik nog nooit zo'n wolk, maar op een ATC is alles mogelijk :)

ATC - Vintage Automobiles

 Sharing these ATCs today.  

Een tijdje geleden dat ik ATCs maakte.

 When I was making this pile of gel prints a while ago, I also used the new Splattered Frame Stamp from Darkroom Door.  I saw a sun, a cloud and a hill :)

Laatst maakte ik een voorraad gelprints.  Ik gebruikte daarbij ook de nieuwe Splattered Frame stempel van Darkroom Door.  In het resultaat zag ik een zon, een wolk en een heuvel :)

 Today I turned these prints into ATCs.  I used cars and quotes from the Vintage Automobiles set.  Added a 'shrub' from the Gardening Vol 2 set and some postmarks from the new Global Postmarks set.

Van deze prints maakte ik vandaag 2 ATCs.  Auto's en teksten uit de Vintage Automobiles set gebruikt.  De 'struik' is een bloempot uit de Gardening Vol 2 set.  Enkele stempels uit de nieuwe Global Postmarks set erbij.

Sunday Scraps - 450

 I continue with my Sunday Scraps series.  I turned my box of scraps upside down and found some old scraps and leftovers.  I just glued everyting in place and added color here and there.  No extra stamping.  I even found a folded card that had the perfect size already.   The orange and pink background is a left over ATC from a Darkroom Door swap.

Ik ga nog een tijdje door met restjeskaarten op zondag.  Een paar dagen geleden keerde ik de restjesdoos eens om en vond nog restjes die ik zeker kan gebruiken.  Vandaag kwam er geen stempelen aan te pas, enkel de uitgezochte dingen opgeplakt en hier en daar wat bijgekleurd.  Ik vond zelfs een dubbelgevouwen kaartje in de juiste maat.  De oranje en roze achtergrond had ik over na een ATC ruil bij Darkroom Door.

I made two more ATCs with this beautiful stamp to complete a series of 6 ATCs.

Nog 2 ATCs gemaakt met die prachtige bloemenstempel.  De reeks van 6 is nu compleet.

Here I used a heat emboss resist technique with Distress Oxide inks on a craft sheet.

Bij deze ATC gebruikte ik een heat emboss resist technique met Distress Oxide inkten op een craft sheet.

On this ATC I sponged with Distress Oxide inks after heat embossing the image.

Bij deze ATC werd de afdruk na het embossen gesponst met Distress Oxide inkten.

 Today I used this stamp with Zig markers and a watercolor brush.

Vandaag weer een ATC met dezelfde stempel, nu Zig markers en een penseel gebruikt.

And I could made 2 more prints, just by misting the stamp.

Door water over de stempel te vernevelen kon ik nog 2 extra afdrukjes maken, die ooit wel eens van pas komen.

 I think I have a new favorite flower stamp :)   I'm making ATCs with this stamp, trying different techniques.  (see the first one HERE)

I sprayed water onto the stamp, "inked" it with Scribble Sticks and overstamped with Archival Ink.

Sunday Scraps - 412

 As usual on Sundays, I made something using scraps and leftovers.

Zoals gewoonlijk op zondag, maakte ik weer iets met restjes.

 I've cut some leftovers to ATC size.  They fit perfectly on the tag diecut.

Achtergrondjes op ATC formaat gesneden.  Ze passen perfect op de uitgestanste tag.

I stamped some Grunge Marks using Distress Paint.  Colored the edges and stamped the flowers on the yellow paper scrap to cut out. 

Met Distress Paint de Grunge Marks gestempeld.  Randen gekleurd.  De bloemen op de gele papierstrook gestempeld en uitgeknipt.

 Made this quick and easy ATC with new Darkroom Door stamps.  Love that flower!

 Quick and easy, because I simply stamped with black ink on a Distress Ink background from my stash.

You can heat emboss Archival ink when you work quickly.

 Found these stamped images in my stash.  I decided to turn the Carved Pods into fun faces, adding googly eyes.

De gestempelde afbeeldingen vond ik in mijn voorraad.  De Carved Pods veranderd in grappige wezens door er wiebeloogjes op te plakken.

The tiny heart stamp comes with the All Occasions set.

I made this ATC just because I wanted to try Twinkling ATCs on a black background.  Darkroom Door stamps are heat embossed with WOW embossing powder.

Darkroom Door ATC Swap - Travel

 A set of ATCs I made for Darkroom Door's "Travel" swap.

Een reeks ATCs gemaakt voor de "Travel" ruil bij Darkroom Door.

 I used Archival Ink Watering Can to stamp the World Map Background, and watercolored it using Distress Inks Mowed Lawn and Salty Ocean.  I inked the edges with Vintage Photo. 

I stamped the Chevron Texture stamp using Distress Paint Peacock Feathers.

De World Map achtergrondstempel met Archival inkt Watering Can afgedrukt, en met Distress Inkten Salty Ocean en Mowed Lawn ingekleurd.  De randen bijgekleurd met Vintage Photo.

 Small stamps from different sets were stamped with black Archival ink.  I decorated the ATCs using images from Darkroom Door's New York paper collection.

To stamp the backgrounds for my ATCs I inked the Frangipani Photo Stamp with Archival inks.

Voor de achtergrondjes stempelde ik de Frangipani fotostempel met Archival inkten.

The watering can was stamped on shimmery silver paper, using black Archival ink, and cut out.

De gieter werd met zwarte Archival inkt gestempeld op zilverkleurig papier dat een beetje glanst.  Daarna uitgeknipt.

I used  Darkroom Door Photobooth Gentlemen to punch uit the gardeners.

De tuinmannen werden uit een Photobooth vel Gentlemen van Darkroom Door geponst.

I wanted to use this fun quote.  Had to use vellum because there was not enough room left.

Ik wou absoluut deze tekst erbij gebruiken.  Omdat er niet genoeg plaats was, stempelde ik die op vellum.
