Here's another tiny gift box in black and white.  

I printed the template too small by mistake.  But it looks perfect for the CatsOnAppleTrees stamps and a bit of doodling.

Het patroon voor dit doosje drukte ik per vergissing te klein af.  Maar toch net groot genoeg voor de CatsOnAppleTrees stempels en een beetje doodles erbij.

The box at the left was made a few weeks ago.  That's the actual size it should be.

Het linker doosje maakte ik enkele weken geleden al, in het originele formaat.

Sunday Scraps - 373

 A while ago I made some mini gift boxes (click).  Today I punched squares from the left over pieces of scrapbookpaper, and sewed them together to make these patchwork cards.

 Laatst maakte ik een aantal mini kadodoosjes (klik) Vandaag ponste ik vierkantjes uit de restjes scrapbookpapier, en maakte er een set patchworkkaartjes mee.

 Diecuts were used to embellish the cards.

 De vierkantjes werden aan elkaar gestikt, en elke kaart kreeg uitgestanste bloemen en blaadjes.

I folded a bunch of mini gift boxes, inspired by THIS on Instagram

Een aantal mini kadodoosjes gevouwen.  Inspiratie vond ik HIER op Instagram.

On the Instagram video a CD was used to make a template.  Mine are a bit smaller, so I could use some of my 6x6 papers.

In het Instagram filmpje wordt een CD gebruikt om het patroon te maken.  Ik maakte het iets kleiner, zo kon ik een blokje winterpapier gebruiken uit mijn voorraad.

I used a punch to cut the tags.

Labeltjes geponst uit hetzelfde papier.

 A bunch of Gelli prints I made this weekend.

Dit weekend maakte ik een stapeltje Gelli prints.

I used Dina Wakley paints.

Met verfjes van Dina Wakley gewerkt.

I wanted to try the Carved Leaves on my Gelli plate.

De Carved Leaves geprobeerd op mijn Gelli plate.

Soon after I bought my XL Gelli plate, I knew I wasnt going to use it a lot at full size.  So I've cut it into smaller plates, so handy now!

Toen ik mijn XL Gelli plate enkele keren gebruikt had, wist ik dat ik deze grote maat niet vaak zou gebruiken.  Dus sneed ik ze in kleinere platen.  Zo handig nu, nog geen spijt gehad!

This is how I've cut my 14 x 12" Plate into smaller plates.  The largest plate can be used with A4 paper.  

Zo heb ik mijn grote Gelli Plate in kleiner stukken verdeeld.  De maten in centimeters zijn bij benadering.  De grootste plaat kan ik nu met A4 papier gebruiken.

The prints in this blogpost are made with the 6" x 4" on a A4 size paper, that was cut after I made the prints.

Voor de prints in dit bericht gebruikte ik de 15 x 10cm op A4 papier, dat daarna doorgesneden werd.

Black & White - 174

 For this week's Black & White project I chose to make some mini envelopes and mini cards.

Size is 7cm,  6,5 cm and 5,5 cm.

 Voor mijn zwart-wit bericht maakte ik deze week mini envelopjes met een mini kaartje.

De envelopjes zijn ongeveer 7 cm, 6,5 cm en 5,5 cm

 They can also be used on labels or cards (see yesterday's card)

Ook bruikbaar op labels of kaartjes (zie mijn kaartje gisteren)

 A mini card or money inside the evelope.

Een minikaartje of bankbiljet in de envelop.  Er kan meer in zo'n envelopje dan je zou denken :)

Mini Envelope on a Card

 A gelli print, stamped with Art Journey's Postcard stamps..

Een gelli print, bestempeld met Art Journey's Postcard stempels.

 I added a homemade mini envelope

Een zelfgemaakt envelopje op de kaart

 This mini card is inside the tiny envelope.  IRL the ugly brown spot is a shimmery gold.

Dit minikaartje zit in het envelopje.  De lelijke bruine vlek is in het echt mooi zachtglanzend goud.

 Of course, it can be used for a money gift too.

Natuurlijk ook bruikbaar als je iemand geld wil geven.

I found a bunch of these mini envelopes templates in the templates section (haha) of my stash.  I will share them soon to download.  Keep an eye on the blog, or hit the "templates" button on my blog now and then.

More Hearts

Here are 2 more hearts I made.

On the first one I embossed the roses with clear on white cardstock, and colored with Distress Inks.

Nog een paar harten gemaakt. De eerste is een dubbelgevouwen kaart, A5 in de lengte geplooid, het patroon tegen de kaartvouw gelegd.

De rozen kleurloos geëmbossed op wit bristol papier van Canson, en met Distress Stains gekleurd.

Stamps: Art Journey Roses

The second heart is made from lightweight modelling clay.

I used Darkroom Door stamps to press the word and flourish pattern into the clay.

After it dried, I painted with several acrylic paints, and wiped them off again.

I sponged with Distress Inks # Chipped Sapphire and Walnut Stain

Het tweede hart is uit lichtgewicht Fimo klei gemaakt.

Ik gebruikte Darkroom Door stempels om er een patroon in te drukken.

Het hart helemaal laten drogen, en met verschillende acrylverven beschilderd, en weer afgeveegd. Daarna met Distress inkt #Chipped Sapphire en Walnut Stain gesponst.

Afgewerkt met een bijpassend lintje.

Best Day Ever

My last minute entry for Hero Arts' masculine theme. I used my suit template again. Quick and easy :)
I made the template a while ago, you can download it HERE.
