BRRR

Yesterday I made the snowdrops page at the left hand side.  I wanted to do another 'winter' page at the right.

Gisteren maakte ik de linker pagina met de sneeuwklokjes.  Op de rechter pagina moest ook iets 'winters' komen.

I stamped a few snowflakes and BRRR using Darkroom Door stamps.

I started with these pages, where I had cleaned my inky stencils in the past.

Er zat al inkt op de pagina's omdat ik er eerder al mijn stencils op schoonmaakte.

Bue Distress Oxide ink was used to add more color.

Wat kleur aangebracht met blauwe Distress Oxide inkt.

The quote was stamped out with the Ransom Alphabet set using VersaFine Ink Nocturne.

De quote gestempeld met de Ransom Alphabet set en zwarte VersaFine inkt.

Finished off with some of the inchie stamps I carved for Carve December 2023.

Black & White - 600

Almost every Saturday I try to make something in black & white.  This is item #600 already :)

The page in this black Dyalog Insert Book had a window cut out.

Zoals bijna elke zaterdag maakte ik iets in zwart-wit.  Vandaag al voor de 600ste keer :)

Op deze pagina in mijn zwart Dyalog Insert Book was al een venster uitgesneden.

I sponged a cloudy gesso layer over the black page, and used black Archival ink to stamp the bricks, flowers and numbers.

Een witte vlekkerige laag gesso aangebracht op het zwarte papier.  Daarna de bakstenen, bloemen en cijfers afgedrukt met zwarte Archival inkt.

I had used the pages before, to clean my stamps and stencils.

Er zat al inkt op de pagina's van stempels en stencils die ik schoonmaakte.

Fall is here, so I used the mushrooms stamps again, I carved them long ago.

Het is herfst, dus de paddenstoelenstempels gebruikt, die ik een tijd geleden al kerfde.

Black & White - 599

(Almost) Every Saturday I create something in black and white.  Today I made this page in my black Dyalog insert book.  Also, I've cut some fresh dahlias from our garden.  It is getting colder, so the dahlia season is almost over.

(Bijna) Elke zaterdag maak ik iets in zwart-wit.  Vandaag werd dat deze pagina in mijn zwart Dyalog insert book.  Ik haalde ook weer verse dahlia's uit de tuin naar binnen.  Het wordt kouder, dus nog eventjes genieten van die mooie bloemen.

I found the stamped cat in my stash, already cut out.  It was the start of this page.

De gestempelde kat vond ik in mijn voorraad, al uitgeknipt.  Daar begon deze pagina mee.

I used the leaves from the small Tropical Leaves stencil with white gesso.  

De bladeren uit de kleine stencil Tropical Leaves gebruikt met witte gesso.

Next I stamped the Faded Circles abstract stamp over the sponged part.  Words are from the Seaside Vol 2 stamp set.

Daarna stempelde ik de Faded Circles abstract stempel over de gesso.  Een tekst erbij afgedrukt uit de Seaside Vol 2 stempelset.

Some flowers were stamped on a gel print from my stash, and cut out.

The new stamps Dotted Circles and Scribble Daisy, in combination with a timeless, favorite stamp set:  Full Bloom Vol 2.

Rudbeckia

Pages in my Dylusions Dyalog Insert Book.  The pages already had pink marks from inky stencils I had cleaned off.  Always a good start :)

Pagina's in mijn Dylusions Dyalog Insert Book.  Er zat al wat roze inkt op het papier, omdat ik er stencils op schoongemaakt had.  Altijd handig om al een begin te hebben :)

I inked the pages with these Distress inks.  The Abstract Stamp 'This Way' was stamped with Tumbled Glass.

De bladzijden gekleurd met deze Distress inkten.  Daarna drukte ik de Abstract stempel 'This Way' af met Tumbled Glass.

Next I sponged through these stencils using black Archival ink.

Deze stencils gebruikt om er met zwarte inkt door te sponzen.

Finished off with some Mini Marks, stamped with black Archival ink.

Tenslotte nog enkele Mini Marks afgedrukt met zwarte Archival inkt.
