A flower card I made for my Black & White series.

I love defintions stamps.  I stamped the flower definition by Purple Onion Designs several times and over stamped with flower stamps.  Cut the flowers out and arranged them on a white card.

Een bloemenkaart voor mijn zwart-wit reeks.

Ik heb een zwak voor definitiestempels.  De bloemendefinitie van Purple Onion Designs een aantal keren afgedrukt en er de bloemen overheen gestempeld.  Uitgeknipt en op een witte kaart geschikt.

Golden Oldies - 58

 A card with a gardening theme.  The images are stamped with Ranger Archival Ink #Jet Black, colored with Distress Markers.

I stamped a text background, using Distress Inkpads.

Een kaartje met een tuin thema.  De stempel is afgedrukt met Ranger Archival inkt #Jet Black, ingekleurd met Distress Markers.

Distress inktkussens gebruikt om de tekst op de achtergrond te stempelen.

Photo Inspiration - 3

Inspired by a Hibiscus in our garden. I stamped the Hero Arts flower with Distress Ink on watercolor paper, and used a damp brush on the flower center. The petals are colored with pencils. I stamped leaves (PSX) on a watercolored background, and a few extra leaves to cut out.

Inspiratie voor deze kaart kwam van een Hibiscus in de tuin. De Hero Arts bloem met Distress inkt gestempeld op aquarelpapier, en het hart met een nat penseel bewerkt. De rest van de bloemblaadjes is met potloden ingekleurd. Blaadjes (PSX) op een ecoline achtergrond gestempeld, en een paar blaadjes extra om uit te knippen.

De foto afgedrukt om er snel een paar kaartjes mee te maken.

Colorbox Fluid Chalk ink on glossy photo paper. The flower block stamp is by Artemio, I thought it would look good with the Purple Onion Designs stamps I already had.

Colorbox Fluid Chalk inkt op glanzend fotopapier. Deze Artemio stempel vond ik bij Elke Verschooten op de stempelbeurs in Zeist. Ik vind dat ie prima past bij de Purple Onion Designs stempels die ik al had.

Fall Album

Last of 4 albums. I made one for each season. Inside are photos and digital layouts from our garden, and nature shots in our neighbourhood. It's Autumn Theme on Crazy Amigo's Blog.

Laatste album van mijn 4 seizoenen reeks. Binnenin een verzameling van herfstfoto's, digitale layouts over onze tuin, en natuurfoto's uit onze omgeving. Bij de Crazy Amigos is het thema Herfst.

Each album has a little tag attached to the spine, so it's easy to find the one I'm looking for.

Aan de ringen is een klein label bevestigd, makkelijk om meteen het juiste album uit het rek te pakken.

Amaryllis

Do you take photos of your flowers too? I love to use them on cards, combined with stamping. We had these Amaryllis last year as Christmas decoration. They always remind me of my Grandma, she had lots of them. This Christmas card has stamps from Purple Onion Designs. You can have a closer look on the photos below. Love the scroll, next time I use this stamp, I will gold emboss it to see how it looks.

Maken jullie ook foto's van bloemen en boeketjes? Ik vind het altijd leuk om ze achteraf op kaartjes te gebruiken, gecombineerd met stempelen. Deze Amaryllis hoorde vorig jaar bij de kerstdecoratie. Ze doen me altijd aan mijn oma denken, ze had een vensterbank vol. Prachtig!
De stempels op dit kaartje zijn van Purple Onion Designs. De krul vind ik echt prachtig. Volgende keer probeer ik hem eens goud te embossen.

These Holidays postmark stamps come with an extra piece, that's not on the photo. It contains the year 2010, and 2017 through 2020.
Bij deze stempels hoort nog een setje jaartallen tot 2020. Ze staan niet op de foto, maar je krijgt ze er wel bij.

Sunday Scraps - 21

While I was collecting my scraps for my Sunday blog post this morning, I found these leftover gesso transfers. They didn't turn out very well, so I decided to use them as a background for my stamping today.

Deze gesso transfers vond ik vandaag bij het "restjes verzamelen" voor mijn zondagse blogpost. Ze waren niet zo goed gelukt voor mijn albums, dus heb ik ze als ondergrond gebruikt om op te stempelen vandaag.

I was going to use them on a card, but then I remembered Dymphie's corrugated cardboard book, and I cut 4" x 4" pieces to use as covers for these post-it notes.
Ik was van plan om ze op kaartjes te gebruiken, maar toen dacht ik aan Dymphie's boek, gemaakt van golfkarton. Vierkantjes van 10 x 10 cm gesneden, en als kaftjes gebruikt voor post-it notes.

Summer is coming. I decorated my Summer Garden photo book with a transfer in gesso, stamped with Colorbox Fluid Chalk ink.
