Chipboard Flowers

Some Maya Road chipboard flowers I colored.
The flowers come in a nice tin. I primed them with gesso first, then rubbed them with several Colorbox Fluid Chalk inkpads.

Script stamp by Verschoten (Antwerp-Belgium) Versamark and clear embossingpowder to finish them off.

  10. These are so gorgeous! Why do you prime with Gesso? Is it to have a more vibrant ink color/less soaking into the chipboard? Thanks so much!
