Laminated tags

I was laminating some stamp index sheets, and had a bit of room left to squeeze in these vellum tags. Maybe I'll add ribbon at the top, but they can be used as bookmarks like this.
Bij het lamineren van papieren stempelsheets had ik nog wat ruimte over voor deze vellum tags. Misschien knoop ik er nog lint door, maar ze kunnen zo ook als bladwijzer dienen.
I put them in these clips to make a photo outside, in the sunlight, to show how transparent the tags are. Vellum is by Judikins. Embossingpowder is Ranger Seafoam White.
Voor de foto heb ik de tags in deze clips gezet. In het zonlicht zie je hoe transparant ze zijn. Vellum is van Judikins. Ranger Seafoam White embossingpoeder.

Happy Birdie to you

This bird's name is Mack. It's one of my favorites in jj Odd Bird Planet collection. He looks a bit sad. I used the right and left version of him here, and cut off the belly on a few of them. Makes him look completely different. Mack is used here as musical notes on a stave. Distress Ink background.
Deze vogel heet Mack. Hij is een van mijn favorieten in jj Odd Bird Planet collectie. Ik vind dat ie er een beetje triestig uitziet. Op dit kaartje fungeert hij als muzieknoot op een notenbalk. Bij sommige vogels heb ik het buikje weggeknipt, dan ziet hij er totaal anders uit.

Another card I made using the Limited Edition kit Monkey Business from justjohanna's Odd Bird Planet, combined with a few other OBP stamps. Cardstock, ribbon, felt flower and brad come with the kit.
Nog een kaartje, gemaakt met de Limited Edition kit Monkey Business van justjohanna's Odd Bird Planet, gecombineerd met een paar andere OBP stempels. Cardstock, lint, vilten bloem en splitpen zitten in de kit.
I masked all images and sponged the background with Colorbox Fluid Chalk inks. Directions for this faux torn paper technique are HERE.
Alles in na het stempelen met een maskertje bedekt om de achtergrond te sponzen. Die ziet er uit als gescheurd papier, je kan HIER zien hoe dat gaat.

Trunk Show

Johanna will be live-in-person at Auntie Amy’s rubber stamp store in Riverside, California, from 10AM to 6PM on Saturday for a trunk show. Free make and takes all day, and free pack of paper with every purchase. She’ll have some of the just-released images with her, as well as a sneak peek of the upcoming holiday images. If you’re in the Southern California area, don’t miss this event. Johanna only does public appearances about once a year.

Flower card - Take a pic challenge

4" x 4" card. Distress ink background and stamping. Dotted rings, "flower" and edges were heat embossed with copper embossingpowder.
Why did I put it in this card holder.... it's my entry for Klaartje's photo challenge blog, this week's theme is rings. Extra challenge to myself is: the photo has to fit on my Close-Up photo blog or here on my stamping blog :)
10 x 10 cm kaartje. Distress inkt gebruikt voor de achtergrond en het stempelen. De dotjesringen, "flowers" en de randen zijn met koper embossingpoeder geëmbossed. Waarom zit de kaart in deze kaarthouder... omdat dit mijn bijdrage voor Klaartje's foto-uitdagingsblog is, het thema van de week is ringen. Extra uitdaging voor mezelf: de foto moet op mijn Close-Up fotoblog passen, of hier op mijn stempelblog.

Birthday Tag

A tag I made a while ago, don't remember which red ink I used. Black ink is Versafine. I finished it off today with the bird and tag topper, both are heat embossed with Ranger Seafoam White.
Een tag die ik een tijdje geleden maakte, ik herinner me niet welke rode inkt ik gebruikt heb. De zwarte is Versafine. De vogel en het rondje met de wens maakten het af vandaag.

Happy Birthday

Background was colored with Ecoline inks. All stamps are by Darkroom Door. I used Ranger Distress Inks #Peeled paint and Aged Mahogany, heat embossed with Distress Embossing Powder in the same colors. After everything dried and cooled down from the embossing, I rubbed off some of the embossingpowder, and used Aged Mahogany ink to color the banner. Shading was done with a grey pencil and a stump.
Op een ecoline achtergrond gestempeld met Ranger Distress inkt #Peeled Paint en Aged Mahogany. Geëmbossed met Distress embossingpoeder in dezelfde kleuren. Alles goed laten drogen en afkoelen, daarna wat van de embossing afgewreven. Het lijstje met de tekst is met Aged Mahogany ingekleurd. Beetje schaduw gemaakt met grijs potlood en doezelaar. Alle stempels zijn van Darkroom Door.

OBP- Origami Box

A few days ago I was making some cards with the Special Deal stamps from Odd Bird Planet. When I noticed Dymphie's cute little boxes in my Google Reader I changed my mind and used the square on this origami box. Dymphie used her gorgeous home made papers.
Een paar dagen geleden was ik kaartjes aan't maken met de stempels van de augustus-aanbieding bij Odd Bird Planet. Toen ik Dymphie's super leuke doosjes zag, gemaakt met haar prachtig zelfgemaakt papier, veranderde ik van gedacht, en gebruikte het vierkantje op dit doosje.
I found the video with directions on YouTube. I used 6" x 6" cardstock, slightly bigger piece for the lid.
De video met instructies vond ik op YouTube. Afmeting van het papier is 15 x 15 cm, iets groter voor het deksel.

Scraps of watercolored paper from previous cards were used for the owls and flowers.
Restjes geverfd papier van vorige kaarten zijn gebruikt voor de uiltjes en bloemetjes.
