Sunday Scraps - 343

Earlier this week I made a bunch of backgrounds, using a stencil and Dina Wakley acrylic paints.  I cleaned my stencil and brush on a few sheets of  copy paper.  I used one of them to create this little friendship booklet.

Eerder deze week maakte ik een aantal achtergronden met een stencil en acrylverf van Dina Wakley.  Ik gebruikte een paar vellen printerpapier om mijn stencil en penseel proper te maken.  Met één daarvan maakte ik dit vriendschapsboekje.

The copy papier is A4 size.  I folded it and made a cut that makes it able to fold it into a booklet.  All stamping was done with Archival ink.  It works well on acrylic paint.

Het A4 vel vouwde ik in 8.  In 't midden een insnijding gemaakt, waardoor het als een boekje gevouwen kan worden.  Alles gestempeld met Archival inkt, lukt goed op acrylverf.

I looked for friendship stamps to use in this booklet.  The writing lady was a freebie stamp I found in my order from Leuke Stempels.  Words are from Stampers Anonymous.

Ik zocht een aantal stempels bij elkaar over vriendschap om dit boekje te maken.  Op de voorkant gebruikte ik een stempel van een schrijvende dame, die ik kreeg bij een bestelling bij Leuke Stempels.  De tekststempel is van Stampers Anonymous.

A 4" x 4" card in black and white.  I used Darkroom Door Texture stamps on the white letters.

ATC - Grown With Love

Here's an ATC I made earlier, using Darkroom Door's Gardening stamps and a fun image from the Love Letters collection.

I stamped the flowers, leaves and words with Archival inks.  Distress Ink was used to watercolour the leaves, the background and to do the splatters.

Een ATC die ik een tijdje geleden al maakte met de Gardening stempels van Darkroom Door, en een grappig plaatje uit hun Love Letters collectie.

De bloemen, blaadjes en tekst werden met Archival inkten gestempeld.  De blaadjes en achtergrond werden met Distress inkten en een penseel ingekleurd.  De spatjes deed ik ook met Distress inkt.

Darkroom Door ATC Swap - Summer Lovin'

Darkroom Door hosts a monthly ATC swap.  The theme for January is Summer Lovin'.

Darkroom Door organiseert elke maand een ATC ruil. Voor januari is het thema Summer Lovin'.  Terwijl het hier bij ons op het noordelijk halfrond putje winter zou moeten zijn, is het volop zomer in Australië, waar Darkroom Door gevestigd is.

I made a little scene with the Carved Caravans set.  They are stamped on shrink plastic.
Ik koos een tafereeltje met de Carved Caravans.  Mini caravans gemaakt uit krimpfolie.

On the background I stamped the Tree Line stamp, using Archival ink.  I watercolored the image using Neocolors.
Op de achtergrond stempelde ik de Tree Line stempel met Archival inkt.  Met Neocolors verder ingekleurd.

I stamped some words and cut them out.

 A recycled gel print (from this project) was used on today's card.  I tried to iron out the score lines, but that didn't work, so I had to switch to plan B :) I inked the folds to make them stand out.

Een gel print (van dit project) gerecycleerd op deze kaart.  Ik probeerde met een strijkbout de vouwen er uit te krijgen, maar toen dat niet lukte schakelde ik over naar plan B :)  Met Distress inkt liet ik ze net meer opvallen.

Black & White - 268

 For today's black & white card I made a background using tape, gesso and black ink.  

Met tape, gesso en zwarte inkt maakte ik de achtergrond op deze kaart.

 The background on this card was painted with Distress Paint, and stamped with Darkroom Door's Dots Texture stamp.  "Love" is from their Hearts stamps set.

De achtergrond van deze kaart werd met Distress Paint geschilderd, de bolletjesstempel is de Dots Texture van Darkroom Door.  "Love" is uit de Hearts stempelset.

 The heart was hand cut from chipboard, painted with gesso and Distress Paint.  I embossed the heart in the Cuttlebug.  I used the A-plate and C-plate and added several layers of paper to get enough pressure.

Het hart is uit dik karton geknipt.  Ik gaf het eerst een laag gesso, daarna een paar laagjes Distress Paint.  Om het hart in de Cuttlebug te embossen gebruikte ik de A-plaat met de C-plaat, en een aantal lagen papier tot dat voldoende druk gaf.

Love these colors together.

Mooie kleuren om samen te gebruiken vind ik.

Birthday Card - Daisy

 To do the background of this card I used an acrylic stamping block and Distress Inks.  The Dots background, Daisy and words were stamped with Archival ink.

Deze Distress inkten gebruikte ik om de achtergrond van mijn kaart te maken met een stempelblok.  De Dots, Daisy en tekst werden met Archival inkt gestempeld.

 For a handletterting challenge on Instagram.  Just for fun.  Keeping mine simple.

Een leuke uitdaging gevonden op Instagram.  Elke dag een letter van het alfabet schrijven.  Ik hou het eenvoudig, maar er zitten pareltjes tussen!

Snowdrops

Last Saturday's black and white card, colored in with Neocolors.  I used a stencil and Distress Inks on the background.

Mijn zwart-wit kaartje van zaterdag ingekleurd met Neocolors.  Op de achtergrond ook een stencil met Distress inkt gebruikt.

Sunday Scraps - 341

 As usual on Sundays, I made a card using leftover pieces of paper.

Zoals gewoonlijk op zondag, maakte ik weer een kaartje met papierrestjes.

 I punched hexagons out of painted/stamped paper scraps.  

Zeshoekjes geponst uit geverfde/gestempelde papierrestjes. 

 Using black ink I stamped Happy Birthday and some dots.

De tekst en bolletjes gestempeld met zwarte inkt.

 Had to use my favorite hydrangea flower punch again.

Een favoriete bloemetjespons kwam er weer aan te pas.

Black & White - 267

 In 2016 I will (try to) continue making something in black and white on Saturdays.

Ook in 2016 ga ik proberen om 's zaterdags iets in zwart-wit te maken.

 Today I used a snowdrops stamp by Different Colors, stamped it with Versafine Onyx Black and added a bit of penwork.

Vandaag werd het een kaartje met de sneeuwklokjesstempel van Different Colors.  Met zwarte stiftjes heb ik me verder aangevuld.
