I just love this: finding matching stuff when I'm going through my supplies. The red twistel and Distress Ink #fired brick are a perfect match.

Stamp Tower

We used 2 CD/DVD racks, connected the back sides using screws, and put them on coasters. Now I have a spinning storage for a lot of my woodmounted stamp sets.

We gebruikten 2 CD/DVD rekken, met de rugzijde aan elkaar geschroefd, en bevestigden er wieltjes onder. 't Is nu een handige draaibare opbergplaats voor mijn sets op hout gemonteerde stempels.

These home made trays have the perfect size.

Deze zelfgemaakte opbergbakjes passen perfect.

MERCI BIRD-COOP

Another blue card using justjohanna rubberstamps. The birds are stamped on vellum, heat embossed with Ranger Seafoam White embossing powder.

Nog een blauwe kaart met justjohanna stempels. De vogels zijn op vellum gestempeld en ik grbuikte Ranger Seafoam White embossingpoeder.

Priscilla the Cat, what have you done this time? Stamps by justjohanna: Cat, Feather, Fancy Tail, "sorry". I used Colorbox Fluid Chalk inks on the background, colored pencils to give the cat a blush...

Another card I made using justjohanna rubberstamps: Flower border, Paisley Border, Peacock Crown, Swirly Tail, Swirly Heart, Fabulous. Flowers are punches.

Home is where the Heart is -- Oost west, thuis best

ATC made with justjohanna stamps on Basic Grey: heart, birdhouse, swirly tail, star. Silver embossing. I used a white gelpen on the stars. Sentiment is printed of the pc on vellum.

ATC gestempeld met justjohanna stempels op Basic Grey. Zilver embossing op de randen en de sterretjes, die zijn wit gekleurd met een gelpen. Tekst is geprint op vellum.

Birthday Calendar -- Verjaardagskalender

This booklet can be used as a Birthday Calendar.
Dit mapje kan gebruikt worden als verjaardagskalender.

Inside are 12 ATCs, one for every month of the year. Names and Birthdays can be written down on the backside of each ATC.
Er kunnen 12 ATCs in, eentje voor elke maand van het jaar. Namen en verjaardagen kunnen op de achterzijde genoteerd worden.

I used envelopes the create the pockets.

Ik gebruikte enveloppen om de zakjes te maken.

The pictures I used are from our garden troughout the year.

Organizing scraps

Stamping and scrapping can cause a lot of scraps. this is how I organize them:

The paper is sorted by color family in these big drawers.

Het papier is per kleur gesorteerd in deze grote laden

If you open the drawer, you find the scraps at the front, the packs at the back. I keep almost everything, I just hate it to cut up a new sheet of paper if I only need a tiny piece. I use my scraps more, now that it's so easy to find the right color.

Als je de laden opent, zie je vooraan de restjes, achteraan de pakken papier. Ik bewaar bijna alles. Ik heb er gewoon een hekel aan om in een nieuw vel papier te snijden, als ik maar een klein stukje nodig heb. Ik gebruik de restjes vaker, nu ik snel de juiste kleur kan vinden.

Waiting for Irene - Wachten op Ireentje

Today Irene is arriving from Russia. She's going to have a nice vacation with my sister's family during 3 weeks. She's a very sweet girl. I made her this card. Welcome Irene!!

Vandaag arriveert Ireentje uit Rusland. Na een lange busreis zal ze 3 weken bij mijn zus en haar gezin verblijven voor een deugddoende vakantie. Het is een schat! Ik maakte nog snel een kaartje. Welkom Ireentje!!

Two MINI CARDS

These folded mini cards are 3 x 3 inches. I love to use scraps on these. Flower stamps: Rhonna Farrer, Swirl Stamp: De Creatie, Background Words: Hero Arts, Sentiment: Artemio. Foof-a-La Button and ProvoCraft Heart brad. Inkpads: Colorbox Fluid Chalk #Blue Iris and #Creamy Brown.

Deze geplooide mini kaartjes zijn 7,5 x 7,5 cm. Ideaal om restjes te gebruiken.

I just love this mix of Foof-a-La buttons. Reminds me of my mom's box filled with all kinds of buttons.

Meeting justjohanna's Birds

A closer look at the little box and the cards inside. All the cards are decorated on the front and the backside. The pictures show both sides. I used cream cardstock. The backgrounds are done with chalk inks. I kept most of the birds cream by masking them.

Hier kan je het doosje en de kaartjes bekijken. De ecru kaartjes zijn aan weerszijden bewerkt. Je kan hier de voor- en achterkant zien. De achtergronden zijn gemaakt met chalk inks. De meeste figuurtjes heb ik in ecru behouden door ze af te plakken.

Altered Box

A little box to keep my cards with justjohanna's cute birds images.

Een doosje waarin ik de kaartjes bewaar met justjohanna's vogels.

I use a soft pastels box, covered it with handmade paper.

Ik gebruikte een doosje waarin soft pastels zaten, en beplakte het aan alle zijden met mooi handgeschept papier.

I stamped on the rim and the lining paper.

Ik stempelde op de rand en het papier waarmee de binnenkant bekleed werd.

Decorated the cover with sponged Chalk inks, prima flowers brads, ribbon, stamping, and put the cards inside. All stamps by justjohanna.

Het deksel is versierd met gesponste Chalk inks, prima flowers, splitpennen, lint en een beetje gestempeld. Alle stempels zijn van justjohanna.

OOH LA LA

All stamps by justjohanna: Tower, Birds, Scooter, Hat, Purse, Swirls, Flowers, Words. A lot of masking here. Stamped with Memories Black, background sponged with Colorbox Fluid Chalks.

Kaart met enkel justjohanna stempels: toren, vogels, scooter, hoedje, tasje, bloemetjes, doodles, tekst. Veel afplakwerk, de achtergrond is gemaakt met Colorbox Fluid Chalk, aangebracht met een sponsje.

I'm not really a scrapper, but I made this layout (21 x 21 cm) about our son Bert, who needs the love of his family very much. This is one of the few pictures we have of him, sitting quiet on a bench in the garden. He is so difficult to catch. Unfortunately the most ugly spot of our garden was in the background. I used photoshop to remove everything in the background, and printed the photo on glossy photopaper. I did a not so good masking job, and filled the blank space with stamping in different shades of brown. All stamps are Hero Arts except the definition stamp on the heart, which is Stampotique. Title is hand cut.

Alhoewel ik niet echt een scrapper ben, maakte ik deze layout (21 x 21 cm) over onze zoon Bert, die de liefde van zijn familie heel hard nodig heeft. Dit is één van de weinige fotoos waar hij rustig op een bankje zit in de tuin. Hij beweegt constant, verdraagt geen camera in zijn buurt. Jammer genoeg stond het minst mooie stukje van de tuin op de achtergrond (compostvat,...) Met photoshop heb ik heel de achtergrond verwijderd. De foto geprint op glanzend fotopapier. Het maskeren is niet helemaal goed gelukt. De achtergond is nu volledig gestempeld in bruin-tinten. Alle stempels zijn van Hero Arts behalve de definitie stempel op het hart, die is van Stampotique. De titel is met een fijn schaartje geknipt.
