FB Cover Cards

Last week I stamped a new Facebook cover, and today I cut it in half to make two cards.

Vorige week stempelde ik een nieuwe omslagfoto voor mijn Facebook pagina, vandaag maakte ik er 2 kaartjes mee.

Birds and circles are stamped with the same Archival ink.  The circles are freshly stamped, they will fade a little.  Love those Archival inks!

De vogels en rondjes werden met dezelfde inkt gestempeld.  Maar de circles zijn vers gestempeld en meteen op de kaarten beland, ze zullen nog een beetje lichter worden bij 't opdrogen.  Heerlijk stempelen met Archival inkt!

Art Journey - Dutch Words

 Art Journey (in The Netherlands) released two stamp sets with Dutch words.  So I revisited some cards I made earlier, and added new Dutch sentiments.

Art Journey bracht onlangs twee nieuwe stempelsets uit met Nederlandse teksten.  Dat bracht me op 't idee om enkele kaarten die ik al eerder maakte, een Nederlandse tekst te geven.

Sunday Scraps - 238

Every Sunday I try to create something with leftover pieces I find on my table or in my box of scraps.

Elke zondagmorgen probeer ik iets te maken met restjes die ik op mijn werktafel of in de restjesdoos vind.

Yesterday I used these strips of waxed paper to cut out the Country Landscape, makes is super easy to remove the die, (especially useful with more intricate dies).  Today I used these scraps to decorate a little glass jar.

Gisteren gebruikte ik reepjes waxpapier om de Country Landscape uit te stansen.  Daardoor kan je het papier makkelijk uit de stans halen, (vooral handig bij nog meer gedetailleerde stansen).  Het waxpapier niet weggegooid, maar er dit glazen potje mee versierd.

Voor mijn Belgische lezers:  dit waxpapier kan je in de winkels van AVA vinden.  Slagers leggen ze tussen de schijfjes hesp :)

I sponged the lid with Acrylic Paint Dabber.  Dries quickly with a heattool.

Het dekseltje kreeg een laagje acrylverf.  Snel droog met een heattool.

Two quick & easy cards in Black & White.  I used one of my black gelli prints and a die from Memory Box.   Dutch words are by Art Journey.

Twee makkelijke kaartjes in zwart-wit.  Eén van mijn zwarte gelli prints gebruikt en een stans van Memory Box.  Een tekststempel erbij van Art Journey.

A set of sympathy cards.

Enkele rouwkaartjes gemaakt.

I inked the Darkroom Door Leaves stamps with these Distress Markers.  Sprayed them with water to get a watercolor look, and sponged the backgrounds with Distress inks.

De blaadjesstempels van Darkroom Door met Distress markers beïnkt, water erover verneveld om een aquareleffect te krijgen.  Het papier met Distress inkt gesponst.

Banana leaf and twine were used to finish off the cards.

Kaartjes afgewerkt met een reepje bananenblad en een touwtje.

Darkroom Door - Journey Quote

I started this card with two ATCs.
Voor deze kaart maakte ik eerst 2 ATCs.

On the first ATC I stamped the Journey Quote stamp on a Distress Ink background and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  I distressed the edges and glued it onto green and black cardstock.
Op de ene ATC stempelde ik de tekststempel op een Distress inkt achtergrond, geëmbossed met kleurloos embossingpoeder.  De randen ruw gemaakt en de ATC op zwart en groen papier geplakt.

I have cut one image of Sydney Photochips to ATC size, inked it with Distress Ink #Bundled Sage.  Distressed the edges.  I punched a hole in the tiny tab (Sizzix Die) before I stapled it onto the ATC.

De andere ATC is geknipt uit één van de Sydney Photochips.  Met Distress inkt gaf ik er een zachtgroen tintje aan.  Hier ook de randen opgeruwd, en een tabje aan de zijkant vastgeniet.

The World Map was stamped on an acrylic background and glued onto my card.  

I adhered the ATCs and  added two arrows ( a stamp from the Robots 2 set)
De wereldkaart (ook een Darkroom Door stempel) is op een acryl achtergrond gestempeld.  Nadat de ATCs erop geplakt waren, stempelde ik er de pijlen (uit de Robots2 set) bij met Archival inkt.

CAS on Sunday #18: Shape it Up!

A mini card or gift label for CAS #18 : Shape it Up!

Een minikaartje of kadolabel voor CAS on Sunday #18.

I used the Christmas Ball and sentiment stamp from Art Journey, stamped on a gelli print with Versamark ink and heat embossed with WOW embossing powder.

De kerstbal en tekststempels van Art Journey werden met Versamark inkt afgedrukt op een gelli print, en geëmbossed met WOW embossingpoeder.  

I added a few touches with a white gelpen.
Met een witte gelpen een paar accentjes aangebracht.

The ornament was cut out, glued onto folded white cardstock and cut out again leaving a white border.  Simply finished off with a bead.
De kerstbal uitgeknipt, op een gevouwen witte kaart geplakt en met een smal randje uitgeknipt.
Eenvoudig afgewerkt met een houten kraal.

Last week I made a bunch of gelli plate prints.  I used one of them as a background on this card.

Vorige week maakte ik een stapeltje gelli plate afdrukken.  Eentje gebruikt als achtergrond bij deze kaart.

 I stamped Darkroom Door's Sydney Vol 2 stamp set and Sheet Music Background stamp with Archival Ink #Cobalt.

Stempels uit Darkroom Door's Sydney Vol 2 set en de bladmuziek achtergrondstempel met Archival inkt #Cobalt afgedrukt.

The Opera House was stamped on white cardstock and cut out.

Het beroemde Opera House is op wit papier gestempeld en uitgeknipt.

Darkroom Door Castle - ATCs

These ATCs are made with the beautiful Castle Photo Stamp by Darkroom Door.
De mooie Castle fotostempel  van Darkroom Door gebruikt op deze ATCs.

I stamped the image with Ranger Archival ink, cut it out and inked the castle with these Distress inks.

I've cut the image in half.
De stempel afgedrukt met Ranger Archival inkt, uitgeknipt en gesponst met Distress inkten.
Daarna resoluut doormidden geknipt.

The ATC backgrounds have acrylic paint brushstrokes, and I stamped the Stone Background with Archival Ink #Aquamarine.  I also inked the edges with Aquamarine ink.
De achtergronden van mijn ATCs hebben penseelstreken in blauwe acrylverf.  Ik stempelde er de Stone achtergrondstempel van Darkroom Door overheen met Archival inkt #Aquamarine.

For a finishing touch I used Paris Wordstrips again, colored with Distress Ink, and some Film Strip Ribbon.  

Great tip from Connie:  After cutting out some of the wordstrips, tape the rest of the wordstrips at the back to keep them together.
Voor de afwerking gebruikte ik Paris Wordstrips, gekleurd met Distress inkt, en stukjes Film Strip Ribbon die met nietjes vastgezet zijn.
Ik was blij met de gouden tip van Connie:  Zij plakt de Wordstrips aan de achterkant terug aan elkaar als ze een woord uitgeknipt heeft, zo blijven ze mooi per thema samen.

Sunday Scraps - 237

As usual on Sundays, something made of scraps.

The stamped tag ended up in my box of scraps a while ago because I dropped the lines stamp on the tag, hence the double lines at an angle :)

Zoals gewoonlijk op zondag, weer iets gemaakt met restjes.

Het gestempelde label kwam een tijdje geleden in de restjesdoos terecht, omdat ik er de lijntjesstempel op had laten vallen, waar door die er dubbel en schuin op stonden.  Maar vandaag vond ik dat niet erg :)
