Thanks Tag with Ladybugs

A while ago I was asked by Judi from Angels Landing for a guest designer spot in August. Angels Landing has a bunch of cute digital stamps.
My first project is a bright tag, with flowers and ladybugs.
Een tijdje geleden werd ik door Judi van Angels Landing gevraagd als guest designer voor augustus. Angels Landing heeft een collectie leuke digitale stempels.
Om te beginnen heb ik een kleurige tag gemaakt, met bloemetjes en lieveheersbeestjes.

All images are printed on white cardstock, colored with pencils. I used a Versamark pen and clear embossing powder to emboss the colored parts. I turned the flower buds into ladybugs, by drawing feet with a black marker.

Alles is geprint op wit kaartkarton en gekleurd met potloden. Daarna de ingekleurde delen geëmbossed met een Versamark pen en kleurloos embossingpoeder. Om de lieveheersbeestjes te maken heb ik een bloemknop gebruikt, en er pootjes bijgetekend.

Angels Landing - Vellum Birthday Flowers

Here's another card I made as guest designer for Angels Landing.

I printed a bunch of flowers from the Pierced Flowers collection on colored vellum, cut them out and used an embossing tool to make the petals curl. I used a soft foam surface to work on. One flower was printed on cardstock, and colored with pencils.
Eerst heb ik een aantal bloemen uit de Pierced Flowers collectie op gekleurd vellum geprint. Uitgeknipt en met een embossingpen op een zachte ondergrond bewerkt om de bloemblaadjes te doen krullen. Eén bloem is op kaartkarton geprint en met potloden ingekleurd.

I stitched the vellum layer on white cardstock and arranged the flowers on the diagonal. I used double sided tape, a button or brad to attach the flowers. The sentiment is from the Pierced Tags set. It is colored with pencils and attached with brads. I added white dots on some of the flower centers, using a gelpen from Inkssentials. One corner of the white cardstock was embossed in the Cuttlebug before the piece was glued on matching Bazzill cardstock.

Met de naaimachine heb ik eerst een laagje vellum op het witte karton gestikt. De bloemen diagonaal geschikt en met dubbelzijdig kleefband, een knoop of splitpen vastgemaakt. De wens is uit de Pierced Tags set, gekleurd met potlood en met splitpennen vastgezet. Witte dotjes aangebracht met een gelpen van Inkssentials. Een hoekje van het witte Papicolor papier in de Cuttlebug geëmbossed, daarna het geheel op bijpassend Bazzill cardstock geplakt.

Another card, made for my guest designer spot on Angels Landing blog. It's a simple design, but it shows how well the words can be used with Nestabilities.
The image and sentiment are from the Mini Bears and Birds set. Branch is from the Simply Flowers set. Light coloring with pencils.
Weer een kaartje, gemaakt voor Angels Landing blog. Een eenvoudig kaartje, maar het laat zien hoe goed de teksten en Nestabilities gecombineerd kunnen worden. Vogeltje en tekst zijn van de Mini Bears and Birds set. De tak is uit de Simply Flowers set. Lichtjes ingekleurd met potloden.

Angels Landing - Mobile

The last project I made as August's guest designer for Angels Landing is a mobile in neutral colors.
Mijn laatste project als gast designer bij Angels Landing is een mobiel in neutrale kleuren.

To create a roof I printed the Pierced Background at full size on cream cardstock (outside) and on brown cardstock (inside). I scored the diagonals on both squares and cut off 1 triangle. Glued both pieces together. Punched holes and decorated the edges with flowers I printed from the Pierced Flowers set.

Om het dakje te maken heb ik de Pierced Background op volledige grootte geprint op crème en op bruin kaartkarton. Diagonaal gerild en bij allebei 1 driehoek weggeknipt. De delen aan elkaar geplakt. Gaatjes geponst en de randen versierd met bloemetjes, geprint uit de Pierced Flowers set.

I punched a square, scored,... to reinforce the top.
Om de punt te verstevigen heb ik een vierkantje geponst, en op dezelfde manier gerild, 1 driehoekje weggesneden.


The marching animals were printed on cream and brown cardstock. I flipped the images, so they are double sided. Added a bit of color to the ears and tails and pieced them together. The instruments are left blank. Cat, bunny and music notes are from Marching Band 1. The bear is from Marching Band 2. Ribbon is from Stampin'Up!


De diertjes werden op bruin en crèmekleurig cardstock geprint, ook in spiegelbeeld zodat ze dubbelzijdig zijn. Beetje kleur op de oren, staart,... en alles weer aan elkaar geplakt. Wit puntje in de ogen gemaakt met een gelpen. De muziekinstrumenten heb ik wit gehouden. De kat, het konijn en de muzieknoten zitten in de Marching Band 1 set. De beer is uit de Marching Band 2. Lint van Stampin'Up!

I printed some of the new images and Faux Stitched Borders on ecoline paper.
Ik heb de kattenpootjes, label en Faux Stitched Borders op ecolinepapier geprint.

I used a paper distresser on the edges, and made the piece of watercolored paper curl.
Randjes opgeruwd met een paper distresser en het ecolinepapier alleen bovenaan vastgeplakt, zodat de rand kan omkrullen

I attached a little bow and cat bell to the label. Cuttlebug embossing and 7Gypsies Gaffer Tape.
Label met strikje en kattenbelletje.

Digi cards - Winter

I used a bird photo taken in our garden on a snowy Winter's day.

Angels Landing - Photo Card

No rubber stamping here. I used one of my garden photos and combined it with digi stamps from Angels Landing.
The leaves are from Seasonal Borders and the sentiment is from Pierced Tags. Real brads are from American Crafts.
My plan is to do something digital each Thursday, it can be combined with rubber stamping. Click the "digital" label in my label cloud at the right, or below this post to find more digital cards.

Niet met rubber stempels gewerkt op deze kaart. Een tuinfoto bewerkt met digi stamps van Angels Landing.
Het label met tekst is uit de Pierced Tags, de blaadjesboord uit Seasonal Borders. Splitpennen van American Crafts.
Het plan is om elke donderdag iets digitaal te maken, eventueel gecombineerd met rubber stempels. Klik op "digital" in mijn label cloud in de rechterkantlijn, of onder deze post om meer digitale kaartjes te vinden.

Sunday Scraps - 34

On this house shaped tag I stamped "Welcome Home" in Dutch, using Darkroom Door's Alphabet Medley set.
The little flourish stamp is from their Venetian Vol 1 set.
Een "Welkom thuis" label in de vorm van een huisje. Tekst is gestempeld met het alfabet van Darkroom Door.
Het krulstempeltje is uit de Venetian Vol 1 set.

The roof is a leftover piece from my Angels Landing mobile (click). Machine stitching on the Prima flowers.
Het dak was een restje van mijn Angels Landing mobiel (klik). Prima bloemetjes opgestikt met de naaimachine.

Wooden heart, cuttlebugged strip.
Houten hartje en een strook geëmbossed papier.

Flowers and sentiment on this card are from Hero Arts. Distressed edges and machine stitching.
Bloemen- en tekststempel zijn van Hero Arts. Randjes opgeruwd met Tim Holtz paper distresser. Rondom gestikt.

The heart was already cut out from ecoline paper, I embossed it in the Cuttlebug and colored the edges and dots with Distress ink. Stamped flowers are from this card.
Het hartje was al uit ecolinepapier geknipt. Geëmbossed in de Cuttlebug, randjes en dotjes met Distress inkt gekleurd. Het strookje met de bloemen is een restje van deze kaart.
