Darkroom Door flowers.  And I really love the grass border from the Nature Walk set.  I use this stamp quite often.

I used a background from my stash.  Made these a while ago, when I cleaned an inky stencil on a sheet of white cardstock.

Een achtergrond uit mijn voorraad gebruikt.  Die maakte ik een tijdje geleden, toen ik een beïnkte stencil schoon maakte op een vel wit kaartkarton.

I inked the flower stamps with Ecoline brush pens.

Completed Dyalog Insert Book

As you may know, I used this Dyalog Insert Book to clean my stamps and stencils, and to pick up ink and paint from my glass mat.  Today I finished the last pages, in fact it is the inside of the front cover and the first page in the journal.

Zoals je misschien weet, dit Dyalog Insert Book gebruikte ik om mijn stempels en stencils schoon te maken, en om inkt en verf van mijn glasplaat op te nemen.  Vandaag maakte ik de laatste pagina af in dit journal, in feite is het de binnenkant van de kaft en de eerste bladzijde van het journal.

I chose some inks en two large stencils from Darkroom Door.

Inkten uitgezocht en twee grote stencils van Darkroom Door.

Love using these stencils.

Leuk om te gebruiken, deze grote stencils.

Next I used these stamp sets.  I inked some of the flower stamps with Distress Markers.  A favorite saying from the Art De Fleur Vol 1 set was stamped with black Archival Ink.

Enkele bloemen afgedrukt met Distress Markers.  Een favoriete tekststempel uit de Art De Fleur Vol 1 set drukte ik af met zwarte Archival inkt.

Thank You Card #2

I loved yesterday's card, so I made another one in the same style, with the rest of the background paper I had.

Ik maakte nog een kaart in dezelfde stijl als die van gisteren, met hetzelfde achtergrondpapier.

Another favorite flower stamp was used.  This one is from the Art De Fleur Vol 1 set from Darkroom Door. I stamped with Archival Ink Leaf Green, and watercolored around the flowers.

Deze bloemenstempel is ook één van mijn favorieten, een tijdloze stempel uit de Art De Fleur Vol 1 stempelset van Darkroom Door.  Afgedrukt met Archival inkt Leaf Green op aquarelpapier.  Met Altenew verf rondom de bloem geschilderd in een bijpassende kleur.

Een gestencilde achtergrond uit mijn voorraad gebruikt op deze kaart.  

I used Leaf Green Archival ink to stamp the flower, label and sentiment onto watercolor paper.  Altenew watercolors were used around the flower and on the label, to match the background.

Met Leaf Green Archival inkt stempelde ik de bloem, het label en de tekst op aquarelpapier.  Een kleurtje uit mijn Altenew verfjes gebruikt om rond de bloem en op het label wat kleur aan te brengen die bij de achtergrond van de kaart past.

Here's another card I made, using the diecuts I made last Sunday.  I also used a gel print from my stash.  It had a white edge at the left hand side.  To hide that I sponged with Distress Ink Weahtered Wood, and stamped a stitched border stamp from Darkroom Door.

Nog een laatste kaartje gemaakt met de uitgestanste blaadjes en bloemen van zondag.  Ook een gelprint uit voorraad gebruikt als achtergrond.  De gelprint had een wit randje links.  Om dat weg te werken kleurde ik de randen met Distress Inkt Weathered Wood, en stempelde er een gestikt randje overheen.

Happy Birthday

Making lots of quick & easy cards lately.  On today's card I used a gel print background, and added a flower and leaves I've cut earlier (click).  

Al veel makkelijke kaarten gemaakt de laatste tijd.  Ook vandaag weer een gelprint als achtergrond gebruikt, en een bloem die ik eerder al uitsneed (klik).

I doodled the stem.  A saying was stamped over the gel print, and then cut out using a craft knife.  Glued it back in place using foam tape.

De bloemstengel getekend met een stiftje.  Tekst gestempeld en met een mesje uit de achtergrond gesneden.  Daarna met 3D tape weer opgeplakt.

Just 1 inkpad was used on this card:  Distress Ink Cracked Pistachio.

Slechts 1 inktkussen gebruikt op deze kaart:  Distress Inkt Cracked Pistachio.

On the white folded card I sponged with Distress Ink through the Grunge Border stencil.  Next I inked the card, and stamped the Mesh background stamp using the same ink.

De Grunge Borders stencil gebruikt om de witte kaart te sponzen met Distress Inkt.  Daarna de kaart nog lichtjes gesponst, en er de Mesh achtergrondstempel overheen afgedrukt.

The Carved Flower was sponged first, using the stencil, then I stamped the Fine Flower on top.  

De Carved Flower eerst gesponst, daarna er overheen gestempeld met bloem uit de Fine Flowers set.

Fijne zondag!

Black & White - 485

A page in my black Dyalog Insert Book.  After drawing the wiggly lines onto white cardstock, I used stencils from Darkroom Door with a black pen to fill the boxes.  The finished piece was glued inside the black journal.

Een pagina in mijn zwart Dyalog Insert Book gemaakt.  Eerst kronkelende lijnen getrokken op wit kaartkarton, daarna de vakjes ingevuld met behulp van stencils en een zwart pennetje.  Het blad in mijn zwart journal geplakt.  Je ziet nog een fijn boordje van de zwarte bladzijde.

I think it works, next to the page I made earlier.

Past wel bij de pagina die ik eerder al maakte vind ik.

Quick messy pages in my Dyalog Insert Book.

Een paar nonchalante pagina's in mijn Dyalog Insert Book gemaakt.

These are the 'before' pages.  In this journal I clean my stamps and stencils.  I always have it nearby when I'm making cards.

Met deze pagina's ging ik aan de slag.  Dit journal gebruik ik om mijn stempels en stencils in schoon te maken.  Het ligt altijd in de buurt terwijl ik kaarten maak.

I used these stencils wiht Distress Crayons and Distress Inks.  Pencils were used to add lines here and there.

Deze stencils gebruikte ik met Distress Crayons en Distress Inkten.  Hier en daar kwamen er nog kleurpotloden aan te pas.

I used this journal to clean off my stamps and stencils, so there are a lot of messy pages inside.  Today I chose these pages to play with.

Dit journal ligt altijd klaar om mijn stempels en stencils in schoon te maken, dus heel wat 'uitdagende' pagina's om verder af te werken.  Vandaag koos ik deze.

Yesterday I had finally cut the letters from the Sketched Alphabet apart.  Now I can use them to stamp directly onto my pages.

Gisteren had ik de Sketched Alphabet stempels eindelijk geknipt, dus voortaan kan ik rechtstreeks op mijn pagina's stempelen.

Doodling on the large gerbera daisy.  I also stamped a flower from the Spiral Flowers set in the center.  

Gedoodeld op de grote bloemenstempel.  Ook een bloem uit de Spiral Flowers set in het hart afgedrukt.

These stencils were used with Distress Inks to sponge the blank spots on the pages.

Deze stencils met Distress Inkten gebruikt om de lege plekken op te vullen.
