Darkroom Door - Thank You

I stamped the flower stamp with Versamark ink and used soft pastels to add color.
De bloemenstempel is met Versamark gestempeld en met pastelkrijtjes gekleurd.

I distressed the edges with Tim Holtz paper distresser and inked them with Adirondack #Raisin. I wanted to try these French knots in the flower centers. They turned out a bit too light, so I sponged them with Adirondack ink too.
De randjes ruw gemaakt met de papier distresser van Tim Holtz, en met Adirondack #Raisin gesponst. Franse knoopjessteek geborduurd in de bloemenharten. Die vielen een beetje te licht uit, ik heb ze met dezelfde inkt wat bijgekleurd.

A journal stamp was used to stamp a border.
Een journal stempel gebruikt voor het randje achter de bloem.

    French knots...brilliant. Takes me back to memories of school - we had a tiny embroidery teacher who would slap our hands with a ruler if the knots werent perfect lol...oh happy days lol
