Ik kan weer iets schrappen van mijn lijstje met dingen die ik moet/wil doen. Eindelijk etiketjes geplakt op mijn Distress inktdoosjes.

Gothic Arch - All About Me

Theme #19 at Inkurable Gothic Arches is All About Me. A good reason to use my own stamp again, here's the story about the stamp.

I heat embossed the dots background, masked the image and sponged with Distress Inks.

Thema #19 bij Inkurable Gothic Arches is All About Me. Geeft me een goede reden om mijn eigen stempel nog eens te gebruiken, waar je meer over kan lezen in dit blogbericht.

De stipjesachtergrond is kleurloos geëmbossed. De afbeelding afgeplakt en de achtergrond gesponst met Distress inkt.

So, I used my own stamp, my handwriting (which I don't like), and listed the things that are important to me.

Voor dit thema heb ik dus mijn eigen stempel gebruikt, mijn handschrift (dat ik absoluut niet mooi vind), en de dingen opgenoemd die belangrijk voor me zijn.

Sunday Scraps - 86

Another Christmas card, made with beautiful scraps. I used a stamp from Art Journey, heat embossed with gold. I also embossed a star brad.

I used this fold.

Vandaag weer een kerstkaart gemaakt met mooie restjes. De tekststempel is van Art Journey, geëmbossed met gouden embossingpoeder. De ster-splitpen was blauw, maar is ook goud geëmbossed.

A quick and easy tag for my black & white series. I stamped the Plaid Background on a white tag, used a black & white photochip from Darkroom Door. "Dream" is from one of their wordstrips.

Een snel en makkelijk label voor mijn zwart-wit reeks. De Plaid achtergrond gestempeld op een wit label, een zwart-witte foto van Darkroom Door gebruikt. "Dream" is uit een van hun wordstrips geknipt.

A card I made for the shoes challenge at Inkurable Stampers blog.

Een kaartje voor de schoenen uitdaging bij Inkurable Stampers.

I stamped with India Ink Black, masked the shoes and the playing child and sponged the background with Distress Inks. I used a golden watercolor pencil on the bugs, just colored them in, I didn't use water.

Alles met India Ink Black gestempeld. Het spelend kind en de schoenen gemaskerd en de achtergrond met Distress Inkt gesponst. De kevers met een gouden aquarelpotlood ingekleurd, gewoon droog, geen water gebruikt.

Distress Ink Combinations

Often, when I photograph my cards, I take a picture of the inkpads I used. I noticed that I used a lot of Distress Ink combinations. And they all seem to work together.

Here are some of my recent pictures. If you click on the picture it brings up the card I made with these inks.

Bij het fotograferen van mijn kaartjes, maak ik dikwijls een foto van de stempelinkt die ik gebruikte. Allerlei kleurencombinaties met Distress inkt werken blijkbaar.

Als je op de foto's klikt kom je bij het kaartje dat ik met die kleuren maakte.

Art Journey - Thinking of You

Seahorses are stamps from Art Journey's Sea sheet. I stamped them on a watercolored background and cut them out using embroidery scissors. Several layers of watercolored paper are used, some are embossed in the Cuttlebug.

Zeepaardjes zijn stempels van Art Journey's Sea sheet. Gestempeld op papier dat met ecoline & shadowpaint gekleurd werd. Uitgeknipt met een fijn borduurschaartje. Laagjes ecolinepapier, in de Cuttlebug geëmbossed.

Art Journey - When Words Escape...

I stamped and masked the bug, stamped and masked the rose. Colored them with pencils. I heat embossed the bug, using a Versamark pen and clear embossing powder.

Het insekt gestempeld en gemaskerd, de roos ook gestempeld en gemaskerd. Ingekleurd met potloden. Het insekt geëmbossed met een Versamark stift en kleurloos embossingpoeder.

Distress ink

Sunday Scraps - 85

I always look forward to making my cards with scraps on Sunday morning :)

I decided to do some Christmas cards today. I used strips of glossy photo paper and scraps of Basic Gray paper. I used mini stamps from Inkadinkado.

Ik kijk er altijd naar uit om op zondagmorgen een paar kaartjes te maken met restjes :)

Vandaag zijn het kerstkaartjes. Ik gebruikte strookjes glanzend fotopapier en restjes Basic Gray. Mini stempels zijn van Inkadinkado.

Double stamping with Distress Ink #Victorian Velvet and India Ink Black on the squares.

I colored the stamped backgrounds with Distress Ink too, and inked all edges.

De vierkantjes zijn dubbel gestempeld met Distress Inkt #Victorian Velvet en India Ink Black. De gestempelde achtergronden zijn met Distress inkt gekleurd, alle randjes werden ook gesponst.
