Take Flight

 A card I made for Darkroom Door, using 2 stamps of the new release.

Voor Darkroom Door maakte ik deze kaart, met 2 pas uitgebrachte stempels.

Darkroom Door Background Stamp:

Honeycomb

 I stamped the Honeycomb background stamp with Archival ink Tree Branch.  I didn't ink the center of the stamp, leaving room for the Take Flight small stamp.  I sponged a cloudy background using Distress Oxide Ink Broken China.

De honingraat achtergrondstempel afgedrukt met Archival inkt Tree Branch.  Het midden van de stempel niet beïnkt, daar stempelde ik later de Take Flight small stamp.  Een blauwe achtergrond gesponst met Distress Oxide Broken China.  Er voor gezorgd dat het blauw niet te egaal werd, zoals een licht bewolkte lucht.

 To stamp the Take Flight small stamp and bugs from the Wings stamp set, I used Archival ink Jet Black.  I used pencils to add a bit of color to the bugs.  I stamped the butterflies from the Take Flight stamp once more with red Archival ink, to cut them out. I hand stitched them on top of the black butterflies.  I inked the edges with Wendy Vecchi Make Art Blendable Dye Ink Potting Soil. Glued the piece onto white cardstock, and on a kraft folded card.

De Take Flight stempel en de beestjes uit de Wings stempelset afgedrukt met zwarte Archival inkt.  Met potloden gaf ik de insecten een beetje kleur.  De vlinders van de Take Flight stempel drukte ik nogmaals af met rode Archival inkt om ze uit te knippen.  Met een steekje vastgezet op de zwarte vlinders.  De randen gesponst met Make Art Blendable Dye Ink Potting Soil van Wendy Vecchi.  Op wit kaartkarton gekleefd, en daarna op een dubbelgevouwen kraft kaart
