Darkroom Door Texture Stamp - Brushed Stars

Pages in my 'clean up journal', where I wanted to use the new Brushed Stars texture stamp from Darkroom Door.

Brushed Stars

You may know that I use this journal to pick up left over inks from my glass mat, and to clean my stamps and stencils.  Love these pages to start a new spread.

Zoals je misschien weet, gebruik ik dit journal om overgebleven inkt van mijn glasplaat op te nemen, of mijn stempels en stencils proper te maken.  Alvast een start voor een spread.

After softening the background with gesso, I used the Cascading Hearts stencil with Distress Inks.  I sponged around the heart, and inked the edges of the pages.

Eerst de kleuren van de achtergrond een beetje verzacht met een laagje gesso.  Daarna de Cascading Hearts stencil van Darkroom Door gebruikt met Distress inkten.  Rondom het hart gesponst, en ook de randen van de pagina's.

Next I chose these stencils, and used them with Archival Ink Periwinkle.

Daarna deze stencils uitgekozen om met Archival inkt Periwinkle te sponzen.

At the top of the pages I stamped the Brushed Stars texture stamp with Periwinkle and Jet Black Archival ink.

Bovenaan de pagina's drukte ik de Brushed Stars texture stempel af met Periwinkle,en daarna met Jet Black Archival inkt.

Jet Black Archival ink was used to add details with these stamps and stencil.

Met zwarte Archival inkt en deze stempels en stencil accenten aangebracht.
