Hallo

The image is stamped with Memories Black. I colored it with pencils, blended with a Versamark pen. Heat embossed the whole image with clear embossing powder. Hero Arts hearts are stamped with Colorbox Chalk inkt.
De ronde Irisstempel is met Memories Black gestempeld. Ingekleurd met potloden. Daarna met een Versamark pen de kleuren mooi egaal gemaakt, en kleurloos geëmbossed. De hartjes van Hero Arts zijn met Colorbox Chalk inkt gestempeld.

First Birthday - Eerste verjaardag

Birthday card for a little girl, born on Leap Day last year. Time flies!!
De tijd vliegt! Dit kaartje is voor een kleine meid die vorig jaar op schrikkeldag geboren werd.

I colored a piece of vellum with iridescent acrylic paint by Caran D'Ache and cut a scalloped mat from it using Nestabilities in a Cuttlebug. The image is heat embossed and colored with twinkling H2Os. The lamp makes it look more shiny on the photo than it is IRL.
Een stuk vellum gekleurd met iriserende acrylverf van Caran D'Ache en met geschulpte Nestabilities uitgesneden in de Cuttlebug. De afdruk is geëmbossed en met twinkling H2Os ingekleurd. In werkelijkheid blinkt het niet zo fel als op de foto, komt door de lamp.

Merry Christmas

I used an Iris stamp as a focal image. Colored with twinkling H2Os and Ecoline Gold. I sanded the cuttlebugged paper. Iris stamps are available from Elke's blog, on woodblocks or EZmount.

Het Irisstempeltje (Verschooten Antwerpen) is met Versafine Onyx Black gestempeld, kleurloos geëmbossed en met twinkling H2Os en ecoline goud ingekleurd. Het achtergrondpapier (te koop bij Verschooten-Antwerpen) is gecuttlebugged en opgeschuurd.

Another Baby Card

Another 4" x 4" baby card. Stamped on ecoline paper, heat embossed and painted with twinkling H2Os to get different shades of the same color scheme. The circle stamp says "It's a girl" in Dutch.
Nog een 10 x 10 cm babykaartje. Gestempeld op ecolinepapier, geëmbossed en met twinkling H2Os in hetzelfde kleurenpalet bijgekleurd.

Swap with Tania

Tania and I challenged each other to make a card with this Iris stamp, since we both have it. We also used a PSX stamp on the background, but it's not the same one.
Tania en ik daagden elkaar uit om een kaartje te maken met deze irisstempel, omdat we die allebei hebben. We gebruikten ook allebei een PSX stempel voor de achtergrond.
I used this eraser to stamp the dots.
De rondjes zijn met dit gommetje gestempeld.

Get Well card - Beterschap

I have this cute iris stamp for a while now, but I didn't use it yet. Versafine Black and heat embossing. I cut a window and frame around the girl, and used 3D foamtape. Colored with twinkling H2Os.
Deze schattige irisstempel had ik al een tijdje, maar ik heb hem nog niet kunnen gebruiken. Venstertje en kader uitgesneden rondom het meisje. Met 3D foamtape opgeplakt.

A few cuts and folds on the edges are showing the doubled sided cardstock. Colored pencils and Sansodor on the images.
Enkele insnijdingen en plooitjes aan de randen tonen de kleur van de binnenkant van deze kaart. Alles ingekleurd met kleurpotloden en Sansodor.

Sketch card - Fijne dag

My card for this weeks's stamping board sketch on 2Peas. I kept it very simple, it's a one layer card, just stamping and coloring. I doodled the strip behind the stamped images, and the frame around the sentiment to meet the sketch.

Mijn kaartje voor de schets van de week op het stempelforum van 2Peas. Een eenvoudig kaartje, gewoon gestempeld en ingekleurd. De horizontale strook en het kadertje rond de tekst heb ik erbij getekend om de schets compleet te maken.

Doublesided cardstock was used here. I made some cuts and folds on the edges. Heat embossing and Talens Ecoline to color the images. I embossed the ecoline backgrounds too, I was wondering if it can be done :)

Kaartje gemaakt met tweekleurig kaartkarton. Aan de rand zijn kleine insnijdingen en plooitjes gemaakt. Gestempeld met Versafine Onyx Black, kleurloos geëmbossed en met Talens Ecoline ingekleurd. Ik vroeg me af of je ecoline kan embossen, en dat lukt, zoals je hier op de achtergrondjes kan zien.

Another card with these cute "Irisstempels".
Nog een kaartje met deze schattige Irisstempels. I masked the image, sponged the background and stamped with Hero Arts stamps. Punched out scallop circle and flowers.
Een maskertje gebruikt om de achtergrond te sponzen en stempelen (Hero Arts). Geponste cirkel en bloemen.
