In the current issue I'm the Featured Blogger, with a Spring project.

Het prachtige blad "nest" verschijnt sinds kort in vernieuwde stijl.  

Eén van de nieuwe rubrieken is "Blogger van de maand".

In de uitgave die vanaf vandaag in de winkel ligt mocht ik die blogger zijn, met een lenteprojectje.

Art Specially For You #8

This magazine was in the mail today. As always I'm impressed by the beauty of everyone's work, the fabulous photography and layout.
I have an article in it about Ecoline, with sample cards and an interview. Unfortunately we are not allowed to show the cards. Feels good the be in the company of all these talented stampers!

Als je in België woont moet je er iets langer op wachten, maar vandaag arriveerde de 8ste Art Specially For You. Het is weer een prachtblad geworden, het wachten waard. Ik ben telkens weer onder de indruk van ieders werk, hoe mooi alles gefotografeerd en opgemaakt is.
Van mezelf staat er een artikel over Ecoline in met voorbeeldkaarten en een interview. Wat een voorrecht om tussen al die getalenteerde stempelaars te staan!

Pas na het maken van de foto gezien dat #5 & 6 verwisseld waren :)

Wax paper Cuttlebug resist

A while ago I was asked to write a tutorial for Splitcoaststampers about this resist technique, using wax paper in the Cuttlebug. This is the sample card.

Een tijdje geleden werd me gevraagd om een tutorial voor Splitcoaststampers te schrijven over de resist techniek waarbij waxpapier in de Cuttlebug gebruikt wordt. Dit is mijn voorbeeldkaartje.

Op de detailfoto kan je zien dat ik glanskarton gebruikte.

Published - Art Specially For You

My copy of Art Specially For You arrived. I'm happy to have several cards in this FABULOUS Dutch magazine. The project on the cover was made by Dymphie. Inside are lots of cards, projects and interesting techniques I really want to try. Another wonderful edition.
Mijn exemplaar van Art Specially For You heeft België bereikt :) Echt wel leuk om een aantal van mijn kaartjes in zo'n prachtig blad te zien staan. Het project op de voorkant is van Dymphie. In het blad heel wat kaartjes, projecten en interessante technieken die ik zeker ga proberen. 't Is weer een prachtige uitgave geworden.

Ik ontving mijn "Art Specially For You" exemplaar, het is al het derde nummer van dit Nederlands stempelblad. Ik ben weer onder de indruk van al het moois dat er in staat, een lust voor het oog, tips en trukjes, boordevol inspiratie... Ik ben blij dat een aantal van mijn kaarten er ook in staan :)

RubberStampMadness Magazine

A few months ago Susan Williamson emailed me. She was writing an article for RubberStampMadness Magazine about blogging. I answered a few questions, and she selected a justjohanna ATC from my blog to use in the article if it would fit in the layout. The new issue is released now, can't wait to read the article about blogging. I guess I'm famous now *LOL*

Een paar maanden geleden werd ik gecontacteerd door Susan Williamson. Ze ging een artikel schrijven over blogs in het magazine RubberStampMadness. Ze vroeg me om wat vragen te beantwoorden, en ze koos een justjohanna ATC op mijn blog om bij het artikel te plaatsen als er ruimte voor zou zijn. Het nieuwe nummer is nu verkrijgbaar, en ik ben echt benieuwd naar het artikel. Zou ik nu beroemd zijn? *LOL*

Wonderful Mail Day

Two magazines in the mail today. I was lucky to have cards in both magazines.

Twee stempelbladen in de brievenbus vandaag. Ik heb het geluk om kaarten te hebben in allebei.

Art Specially for You is a new Dutch Stamping Magazine, it is beautifully layed out, with great tips, technique articles, interviews, and magnificent Art.

Art Specially for You is een nieuw Nederlandstalig stempelmagazine, prachtig gemaakt, met nuttige tips, artikels over stempeltechnieken, interviews en natuurlijk echt mooi stempelwerk. Fantastisch om weer een Nederlandstalig blad te hebben. Wie nog twijfelt of het de moeite waard is, kan ik absoluut geruststellen, het is een aanrader.

Yesterday I heard that I had two cards published in this American Magazine "Simply Sentiments": a Justjohanna card and a Auddesign card. I was completely surprised. I received my copy today.

Gisteren hoorde ik dat 2 van mijn kaarten in dit Amerikaans blad "Simply Sentiments" gepubliceerd zijn: een Justjohanna kaart en eentje met Auddesign stempels. Ik ben compleet verrast. Vandaag ontving ik mijn exemplaar.

My first cards in print!! They are in the June-July issue of Simply Sentiments. I received my copy yesterday. Very exciting!! It's really nice that they return your cards after publishing them.

Voor 't eerst geplubiceerd! Deze kaarten staan in het Juni-Juli nummer van Simply Sentiments. Ik ontving mijn exemplaar gisteren. Ook leuk dat ze je kaarten na publicatie terugsturen.

I used the heat embos resist technique on both cards. Watercolors are My favorite Talens Ecoline. Stamps I used are Art Impressions, Hero Arts and Post modern Design.
