Black & White - 128

 This week's black & white card is done with Crafty Individuals stamps, and I added a bit of stitching.

 Sympathy card for a sweet old lady.  Crafty Individuals stamp, Archival ink and Distress markers are used.

I used the same stamp as yesterday, but punched circles from the stamped image.

Zelfde stempel gebruikt als gisteren, maar nu rondjes geponst uit de afdruk.

I often receive questions about the paper I used, so I'll try to add photos. I used pastel pencils here, normal colored pencils don't work on this paper.

Omdat ik vaak vragen krijg over het papier dat ik gebruik, zal ik proberen een foto erbij te plaatsen, als ik er aan denk :) Op dit papier kan je geen gewone kleurpotloden gebruiken, ik heb mijn pastel kleurpotloden nog eens uit de kast gehaald.

Gothic Arch - Paint

Inkurable Gothic Arch #11 : Paint

I stamped with Versamark, heat embossed with clear embossingpowder.

Sponged on Twin Tone acrylic paint from Eberhard Faber, and wiped off some off the paint after letting it dry for a while, to reveal the embossing again. That's when the second color of the paint shows up too.

Met Versamark inkt gestempeld, kleurloos geëmbossed. Met een sponsje de Twin Color acrylverf van Eberhard Faber aangebracht, beetje laten drogen en een deel weer afgeveegd om de gestempelde afbeelding weer tevoorschijn te laten komen. De tweede kleur in de verf zie je ook meteen.

I stamped with Memories #Midnight Blue and distressed with Distress Ink #Vintage Photo on this card. The shell stamp is a freebie from Craft Stamper magazine.

Birds

The birds stamp is from Crafty Individuals. I stamped it several times on different backgrounds: Glimmer Mist and Talens Ecoline. Heat embossed, cut out and glued onto black cardstock. I used a white pencil on the birds.

De vogelstempel is van Crafty Individuals. Hij is een paar keer gestempeld en geëmbossed op Glimmer Mist en Ecoline achtergrondjes. Uitgeknipt en op zwart karton geplakt. Met een wit potlood de vogels ingekleurd.

Birds on Stampbord

The focal part of this card is a Stampbord tile. After seeing Louise's beautiful canvas using a Stampbord tile, I wanted to use mine too. It's great to see how will it takes the ink.
Het middengedeelte op deze kaart is een Stampbord tegeltje. Toen ik Louise's prachtige canvasje zag met zo'n tegeltje wou ik het er ook op wagen. Mooi om te zien hoe goed dit materiaal de inkt opneemt.

You can scratch the Stampbord surface after it's stamped, to reveal some white again. I used my linoleum cutting tools (had to find them first), but Stampbord has tools too.
Na het stempelen kan je kleine stukjes wegsnijden/krassen om weer witte accentjes te krijgen. Ik heb mijn linoleum gutsjes gebruikt (ik moest ze enkel eerst vinden), maar Stampbord heeft ook gereedschap om het te bewerken.

Friendship...

The door stamp by Crafty Individuals was in Art Journey's goodie bag. I stamped it on glossy cardstock and sponged with several Adirondack inks. The quote is from Art Journey's own line of stamps.
De deur is een stempel van Crafty Individuals die in de goodie bag van Art Journey zat. Gestempeld op glanzend kaartkarton on gesponst met verschillende kleuren Adirondack inkt. Tekststempel van Art Journey.

To cover the empty corner at the bottom I punched these circles, distressed the edges with Tim Holtz paper distresser and used another Tim Holtz tool on a soft surface to create a "flower" shape.
Om de kale hoek van de kaart te vullen heb ik een paar rondjes geponst, de randen ruw gemaakt met Tim Holtz paper distresser, en de achterkant van een andere Tim Holtz tool gebruikt op een zachte ondergrond om er een bloemvorm van te maken.

Black & White - 4

A quick and simple card and mini card in black and white. I love this stamp by Crafty Individuals. I used Memories Black ink on glossy cardstock. Crimped edge and SU ribbon.

Een eenvoudige kaart en minikaart in zwart-wit. De stempel van Crafty Individuals vind ik prachtig. Afdruk gemaakt met Memories Black inkt op glanzend kaartkarton. Randje geribbeld en SU lint om de kaart geknoopt.
