Darkroom Door - Gathered Flowers #3

I used some of the new stamps from Darkroom Door on these pages in my Dina Wakley Media journal.

De nieuwe stempels van Darkroom Door gebruikt in mijn Dina Wakley Media Journal.

I've inked the new Gathered Flowers stamps with Distress Markers and put them inside the Polaroid Frame stamp.

De nieuwe Gathered Flowers stempels beïnkt met Distress Markers.  Ik drukte ze af in het Polaroid Frame.

Some Gathered Flowers were stamped on the background.  Some flowers were cut out and adhered to the pages.

Bloemen op de achtergrond gestempeld, en gestempelde bloemen uitgeknipt om hier en daar op de pagina's te plakken.

The Elegant Ladies are from Darkroom Door's Collage Sheets.

De Elegant Ladies geknipt uit de Collage Sheets van Darkroom Door.

I stamped the Terracotta Pots with Distress Oxide Inks, used a wet brush to spread the ink, and decorated the pots using Texture stamps.

De Terracotta potten afgedrukt met Distress Oxide inkten, de inkt mooi verspreid met een nat penseel.  Daarna Texture stempels gebruikt om een motief op de potten aan te brengen.

The Lattice stamp goes well with this garden theme.  I stamped with Archival Ink Acorn and colored with Distress Oxide Bundled Sage.  I've cut the print into smaller pieces and added these on my pages.

De Lattice stempel past mooi bij het thema tuin.  Ik stempelde die met Archival inkt Acorn.  Met een blending tool bracht ik een laag Distress Oxide aan. Kleine stukken van het latwerk hier en daar aangebracht op de pagina's.

I chose a sheet from the Elegant Ladies Collage Sheets, tore the sheet apart and glued the pieces in place.  Next I stamped the Herringbone Texture Stamp using Archival Ink Watering Can.  Then I arranged the letters to form the quote.

Een filmstrips vel gekozen uit de Elegant Ladies Collage Sheets, diagonaal gescheurd en in het journal gekleefd.  Daarna de Herringbone Texture Stamp afgedrukt met Archival inkt Watering Can.  De uitgeknipte letters opgeplakt om de quote te vormen.

The page was finished off with some flowers from the Botanical Notes Collage Sheets.

Deze pagina verder afgewerkt met enkele bloemen uit de Botanical Notes Collage Sheets.

On the right hand page I used the same Distress Oxide inks to sponge a background.  I stamped the Herringbone Texture stamp and used images from the Botanical Notes & Elegant Ladies Collage Sheets.

Op de rechter bladzijde gebruikte ik dezelfde Distress Oxide inkten op de achtergrond, de Herringbone stempel, en plaatjes uit de Botanical Notes & Elegant Ladies Collage Sheets.

I stamped the Envelope Note stamp using Archival Ink Watering Can.  I inked the envelope with an inky blending brush.  I masked the envelope with post-it notes to stamp the French Script on the card.  Inside the Pen & Ink case I found a stamped fountain pen and ink pot, already colored and cut out, ready to use on this page.

De Envelope Note stempel afgedrukt met Archival inkt Watering Can en uitgeknipt.  De envelop een beetje gekleurd met een blending brush waar nog net genoeg inkt op zat :)  De envelop met post-its bedekt om het French Script op de kaart af te drukken.

In het Pen & Ink doosje vond ik een vulpen en inktpot, al gestempeld, gekleurd en uitgeknipt.  Kwam van pas om deze pagina af te werken.

Artful August Challenge Tags:

August 16 - Splatter

A messy tag for the Artful August Challenge, hosted by Rachel Greig.  Lots of splatters :)  I was going to toss this tag because nothing worked, but kept it in the end.

Een nonchalant label gemaakt voor de Artful August challenge van Rachel Greig.  Voldoende spetters in ieder geval.  Ik wou het label onderweg weggooien omdat niets lukte, maar heb het uiteindelijk toch maar verder afgewerkt.

I used the Scribble Sticks on the Carved Pod and the flower, on the background too.  Painted over the stamped flower with Distress Paint.  Used Distress Oxide ink to stamp the Stained Circles.  And used pens to safe the tag :)

Met de Scribble Sticks stempelde ik de Carved Pod en de bloem.  Over de gestempelde bloem geschilderd met Distress Paint.  De Stainded Circles afgedrukt met Distress Oxide.  Pennen gebruikt om het label te redden :)

My Artful August Challenge Tags so far:

DarkroomDoor - Botanical Notes #2

I love flowers, real ones, or stamps and photos.  So I was really happy with the Botanical Notes Collage Sheets in the new release at DarkroomDoor.

Ik hou veel van bloemen, van echte, en van bloemenstempels en -foto's.  Ik was dus wel blij met de Botanical Notes Collage Sheets die DarkroomDoor nu uitgebracht heeft.

On yesterday's cards I used the postage sheets, today I used the filmstrips in my Dina Wakley journal.

Gisteren gebruikte ik het vel postzegels op mijn kaarten, vandaag gebruikte ik de filmstrips in mijn Dina Wakley journal.

Two alphabet sets were used to stamp the words.  The letters from the Sketched Alphabet set were colored with pencils.

Twee alfabetsets gebruikt om de tekst te stempelen.  De letters van het Sketched Alphabet ingekleurd met potloden.

Matching flower stamps, stamped with black Archival ink.

Bijpassende bloemenstempels afgedrukt met zwarte Archival inkt.

To do the background I swiped these inkpads across the pages, next I used white gesso on top to get a more soft result.

Voor de achtergrond wreef ik deze inktkussens over de pagina's.  Daarna ging er een dun laagje gesso overheen voor een zachter effect.

Sunday Scraps - 603

As usual on Sundays, I made something using scraps/leftovers.

Zoals gewoonlijk op zondag, maakte ik iets met restjes.

I've cut the new Arty Pods stamps from Darkroom Door apart, and used 1 of them to stamp on my scraps.  I've cut them out.

De nieuwe Arty Pods stempel van Darkroom Door kan je in zijn geheel gebruiken, maar ik zette er de schaar in :)  Zo kon ik er eentje op de restjes afdrukken.  Daarna knipte ik de afdrukken uit.

My plan was to turn them into flowers, but I changed my mind, and they became butterflies in my Dina Wakley journal.  I used Abstract stamps to do a subtle background, and arranged the 'wings' to form butterflies.  Words are from the Spread Your Wings stamp set.

Het plan was om er bloemen mee te maken, maar het werden vlinders.  Eerst enkele Abstract stempels lichtjes afgedrukt als achtergrond in mijn Dina Wakley journal.  Daarna de 'vleugels' opgekleefd.  Een lijfje voor elke vlinder geknipt uit de restjes.  Tekststempels zijn uit de Spread Your Wings set.
