I used another background, made with Archival re-inkers and rubbing alcohol.

Weer een achtergrond gemaakt met Archival re-inkers en huishoudalcohol.

The Daisy Delight background was stamped with Versafine Clair Nocturne and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.   Dutch sentiment (= congratulations) was stamped with the same black ink.

De Daisy Delight achtergrondstempel afgedrukt met Versafine Clair Nocturne.  Met kleurloos embossingpoeder van WOW bestrooid om te embossen.  Een tekststempel van Els Brigé erbij, ook afgedrukt met dezelfde zwarte inkt.

A bright sunflower and a checkered background.

Een kleurige zonnebloem en een ruitjes achtergrond.

Ecoline brush pens were used to ink and watercolor the sunflower and the background.

Aquarelleren met Ecoline brush pennen, de zonnebloem en achtergrond.

Next I used the large Checkered stencil around the flower using Distress Ink Stormy Sky.

Daarna de ruitjes gestencild met Distress inkt Stormy Sky rondom de zonnebloem.

Another background, made with Archival re-inker and rubbing alcolhol. 

Weer een achtergrond gemaakt met Archival re-inker en huishoudalcohol.

I stamped over the background using rubbing alcohol with the Crackle background stamp, but for some reason that didn't work with this color.   So I stamped again with Archival Ink Garden Patina, love this color.

Eerst drukte ik de Crackle achtergrondstempel af met schoonmaakalcohol, maar zonder effect.  Daarna opnieuw gestempeld met Archival Ink Garden Patina, zo'n mooie kleur.

I stamped the hearts and saying with black Archival ink, heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  Next I colored the hearts using Archival Ink Carnation Red with the matching stencil.

De hartjes en tekst afgedrukt met zwarte Archival inkt.  Als je snel werkt kan je deze inkt embossen.  Ik gebruikte daarvoor kleurloos embossingpoeder.  De bijpassende stencil en rode Archival inkt de hartjes ingekleurd.

Girl's Birthday Card - Dress Up

I made this birthday card for a 4 year old girl.  Patterned paper on the front, and a surprise inside the card.

Een verjaardagskaart gemaakt voor een 4-jarig meisje.  Gedessineerd papier op de voorkant, maar een verrassing binnenin.

I stamped 4 little friends.  I also stamped a bunch of outfits which I've cut out.

Binnenin stempelde ik 4 vriendinnetjes.  Ook een heleboel kleertjes, die ik uitknipte.

Patterned paper from my stash and a stamp from CatsOnAppleTrees.

Gedessineerd papier uit mijn voorraad en een stempel van CatsOnAppleTrees.

I made a vellum pocket for the clothes using my envelope punch board.  The stamp is from CatsOnAppleTrees.

Uit vellum maakte ik een envelop om de kleertjes bij elkaar te houden.  Zo kwam mijn envelop punch board nog eens van pas.  Een stempeltje van CatsOnAppleTrees er op afgedrukt.

Inside I decorated the top with a fun stamp from Darkroom Door's Mini Marks set, colored with Distress Markers.

Aan de bovenkant binnenin drukte ik een tof stempeltje af uit de Mini Marks set van Darkroom Door, ingekleurd met Distress Markers.

Sunday Scraps - 636

As usual on Sundays I made something using scraps.

Zoals gewoonlijk op zondag maakte ik iets met restjes.

While rummaging in my craft supplies I came across a bunch of these metal templates.  Had to try one with Distress Oxide and an ink blending brush on a scrap piece of paper.

De voorbije week dook ik nog eens in mijn hobbyspullen, en kwam een aantal metalen templates tegen.  Moest er snel eentje testen met Distress Oxide en een blending brush op een papierstookje.

Today I misted a background stamp from Darkroom Door with rubbing alcohol and put my scrap paper on top.  As the scrap paper was colored with Archival Re-inker I got this result.

Vandaag vernevelde ik schoonmaakalcohol op een achtergrondstempel van Darkroom Door en legde er het restje papier op.  Omdat het al met Archival re-inker gekleurd was kreeg ik dit resultaat.

Using Archival Re-Inkers #2

A few days ago I made some backgrounds using Wendy Vecchi Archival Re-Inkers with rubbing alcohol.  Turning them into cards.  This is the second one (see the first one HERE)

Een paar dagen geleden maakte ik enkele achtergronden met Archival Ri-Inkers van Wendy Vecchi met huishoudalcohol.  Nu maak ik er kaarten mee, dit is de 2de.  (de eerste kan je HIER zien) 

To do today's background I used Periwinkel and Goldenrod.  Turning into green where they meet.

Voor deze achtergrond nam ik Periwinkle en Goldenrod.  Waar blauw en geel samenkwamen werd het groen.

Next I stamped with rubbing alcohol, using a Darkroom Door background stamp.

Daarna de achtergrondstempel van Darkroom Door afgedrukt met huishoudalcohol.

Simple black stamping.

Eenvoudig met zwarte inkt gestempeld.

Using Archival Re-Inkers

On this card I used Wendy Vecchi's Archival Re-Inkers with rubbing alcohol.

On the background I used Carnation Red and Periwinkle.  For the flowers and leaves I used Periwinkle and English Ivy.

De achtergrond deed ik met Carnation Red en Periwinkle.  Om de bloemen en blaadjes te kleuren nam ik Periwinkle en English Ivy.

After the background had dried I misted the Damask background stamp from Darkroom Door with rubbing alcohol and pressed the paper onto the stamp.  Love how it turned out.

De achtergrond liet ik goed drogen.  Daarna alcohol verneveld over de Damask achtergrondstempel van Darkroom Door en het papier erop gelegd.  Tevreden over het resultaat.

Next I colored the flowers and leaves.  Berries and leaves on the background were stamped with Versafine Clair Nocturne.

Daarna de bloemen en blaadjes ingekleurd en uitgeknipt.  Op de achtergrond stempelde ik blaadjes en besjes met Versafine Clair Nocturne.

Birthday Card

A few days ago I made these black & white tags, using the ink bottles as little vases.  I wanted to do a colored version.

Een paar dagen geleden maakte ik zwart-wit labels met inktpotjes als vaasjes.  Ik wou een versie in kleur maken.

The flower stamp was inked with Distress markers.

De bloemenstempel werd beïnkt met Distress markers.

I stamped and watercolored with Distress inks.

Gestempeld en ingekleurd met Distress inkten.

After labeling my Distress and Distress Oxide inkpads I did these color charts using a small flower stamp.  Blank color charts are available on Ranger's website HERE

I had some copy paper nearby to clean my stamp inbetween colors. That's what I used to make the tags I showed in yesterday's blogpost.

Tussendoor stempelde ik op printerpapier eer ik de volgende kleur nam.  En dat kleurrijke vel papier gebruikte ik om de labels uit mijn blogbericht van gisteren te maken.
