Darkroom Door Collage Sheets - Elegant Ladies

I used Darkroom Door's new Collage Sheets 'Elegant Ladies' on these pages in my Elisabeth Craft Designs planner.

De nieuwe Collage Sheets 'Elegant Ladies' van DarkroomDoor gebruikt op deze pagina's in mijn Elisabeth Craft Designs planner. 

First I sponged a background using Distress inks (listed at the end of this blogpost).  Next I stamped the Roses Photo Stamp with Distress Oxide Ink Victorian Velvet to soften the waterdrop spots. 

Eerst een achtergrond gesponst met Distress inkten (onderaan dit bericht staan ze vermeld).  Daarna de rozenstempel afgedrukt met Distress Oxide inkt Victorian Velvet, om de lichte vlekken van de waterdruppels een beetje te verzachten.

 I mixed letters from two Darkroom Door Alphabet stamp sets to stamp the quote from Marilyn Monroe that I had found online.  A white gelpen was used on the letters from the Small Sketched Alphabet.

Twee alfabetsets gebruikt om de tekst te stempelen.  De quote van Marilyn Monroe vond ik online, en past wel bij deze dames.  De letters van de Small Sketched Alphabet set ingekleurd met een witte gelpen.

A thank you tag in black & white.

Een label gemaakt in zwart-wit.

First I've stamped the flower from the new Small Sketched Alphabet set from Darkroom Door all over the tag.

Eerst het label helemaal bestempeld met de bloem uit de nieuwe Small Sketched Alphabet set van Darkroom Door.

To draw a grid pattern I used Wendy Vecchi's Stay-tion and magnets to keep the tag in place.  Super easy!

Een ruitjespatroon getekend, de lijnen op de Stay-tion van Wendy Vecchi gevolgd, de magneten houden het label op z'n plek.

Inside the flowers I stamped a small sentiment from the Thank You set.  I also chose tiny stamps from the All Occasions set.

In de bloemen drukte ik een kleine tekststempel af uit de Thank You set.  Ook koos ik stempeltjes uit de All Occasions set.

Because of childhood memories I couldn't resist this Retro Bus die set.  My first card with these dies is in black and white.

Using Acetate on Cards

Black & White - 538

Continuing my Black & White series.  Today I made this tag, an easy one.  I love that flower!  To cut the tag I used a die from Elisabeth Craft Designs.

Ook dit jaar ga ik verder met mijn zwart-wit reeks.  Vandaag maakte ik dit label.  De bloemenstempel vind ik zo mooi.  Het label werd uitgesneden met een stans van Elisabeth Craft Designs.

Sunday Scraps - 569

As usual on Sundays, I made something using scraps (see last photo in this blogpost).

Zoals gewoonlijk op zondag, maakte ik iets met restjes (zie laatste foto in dit blogbericht).

I used a die from Elisabeth Craft Designs to cut the flower shaped reinforcements.

Met een snijmal van Elisabeth Craft Designs de bloemvormige verstevigingsringetjes gesneden.

Love the flower stamp in the Buzzing Bees stamp set from Darkroom Door.  Stamped onto colored paper, but I used pencils to add more color.

De mooie bloemenstempel uit de Buzzing Bees set van Darkroom Door afgedrukt op gekleurd papier, met potloden nog een beetje bijgekleurd.

Looks like this piece ended up in the box of scraps because I had dropped the honeycomb stamp.  But I've cut the bad parts out, and noboday will ever know :)

Deze afdruk kwam in de restjesdoos terecht omdat ik de honingraatstempel had laten vallen.  Maar ik heb de slechte hokjes uitgesneden, en niemand zal het ooit weten :)

Sunday Scraps - 565

As usual on Sundays I made something using scraps or left over pieces.

Zoals gewoonlijk op zondag, maakte ik iets met restjes.

I saved some black diecuts from yesterday's card.

Wat uitgestanste restjes bewaard van de zwart-wit kaart die ik gisteren maakte.

I've cut a tag, using a Elisabeth Craft Designs die.  Just the right size for the glassine envelope.

Een label uitgesneden met een stans van Elisabeth Craft Designs.  Toevallig de juiste maat om in het glassine zakje te passen.

On the watercolored background I used a favorite Texture stamp from Darkroom Door.  The Thank You stamp set has stamps in all sizes and fonts.  I chose a small one to stamp on the tiny strip.

Op de aquarel achtergrond drukte ik een favoriete texturestempel van Darkroom Door af.  Ik koos een klein Thank You stempeltje.  Er zit altijd wel eentje in het juiste formaat in die stempelset van Darkroom Door.

I've cut some folded tags to decorate.  Here's the second one.  I sponged the tag with Distress Inks, stamped with Distress Oxide inks and Wendy Vecchi Archival ink.

Sunday Scraps - 561

As usual on Sundays I used scraps to create something new.  Today I used the negatives of die cuts to cut two extra flowers using scissors.  After I glued them onto a tag I used Distress Markers to doodle inside the flowers.   I sponged and stamped with Distress inks.

Zoals gewoonlijk op zondag maakte ik iets met restjes.  Vandaag gebruikte ik de restjes van uitgestanste bloemen.  Ik knipte er omheen met een fijn schaartje.  Nadat ik de bloemen op een label geplakt had tekende ik er rondjes in met Distress Markers.  Op het label gestempeld en gesponst met Distress Inkten.

Tag - Hello

Simple stamping, sponging, stenciling and coloring with pencils on this tag.

Gewoon eenvoudig stempelen, sponsen, stencilen en inkleuren met potloden blijft tof om te doen.

There's always room for a vertical sentiment.  The Tall Flowers stamp set comes with 6 vertical sentiment stamps along with 4 flowers.

Er is altijd nog een plekje te vinden voor een verticale tekst.  In de Tall Flowers stempelset zitten naast de bloemenstempels 6 verticale tekststempels.

Black & White - 506

On this black & white card I covered the white folded card with a large torn post-it note to stamp the Daisy Delight background stamp.  Next I used the other part of the torn post-it note to cover the stamped flowers so I could stamp the Plaid background.  I also sponged the edge with black Archival ink.

Twee achtergrondstempels van Darkroom Door gebruikt op deze zwart-wit kaart.  Elke helft afzonderlijk bedekt met een groot gescheurd post-it plakbriefje om de bloemen en ruitjes te stempelen.  Ook een randje in het midden gesponst.

Words from the Beautiful Blooms set were stamped with black Archival ink and cut out with die from Elisabeth Craft Designs.  I rounded the corners of my card with the corner chomper from WeRMemoryMakers.

Two Tags

These tags started with left over paper from gel printing and cleaning my brayer.

Een vel papier gekozen dat ik over had na het gel printen, dat ik ook gebruikte om de brayer schoon te maken.

I used these dies to cut the tags, the flowers and reinforcements.

Deze snijmallen gebruikt om de labels, bloemen en verstevigingsringen te stansen.

The flower diecuts were colored with Wendy Vecchi Archival Inks.

De uitgesneden bloemen gekleurd met Archival inkten van Wendy Vecchi.

The flowers got a few coats of clear embossing.

De bloemen kregen enkele laagjes kleurloze embossing.

The tag at the right hand side already had lines from the Abstract 01 stamp.  On the left tag I stamped the lines using Archival Ink Dandelion.  On both tags I heat embossed the Abstract 11 stamp with white embossing powder.

Op het rechter label zaten al streepjes van de Abstract 01 stempel.  Op het linker label drukte ik die stempel af met Archival inkt Dandelion.  Op beide labels de Abstract 11 stempel afgedrukt met Versamark inkt om ze wit te embossen.
