Checkered Background

 Darkroom Door recently added these large stamping blocks to their assortment, to use with the new Border Stamps.  I was curious how it would work to stamp a large A4 size checkered background with this block.

 Darkroom Door heeft sinds kort deze lange stempelblokken in hun assortiment, om met de borderstempels te gebruiken.  Ik was benieuwd of het zou lukken om er een geruite achtergrond op A4 formaat mee te stempelen.

Sympathy Card

A round acrylic block was used to create a circle background with Distress inks.  And I stamped with Archival Ink Potting Soil.

Een ronde acrylblok met Distress inkten gebruikt voor de achtergrond op deze rouwkaart.  Daarna gestempeld met Archival inkt Potting Soil.

Non traditional colors on this Christmas Tag.

Distress inks and acrylic blocks were used again, to do the background.

Set of Xmas Cards

 Two cards and a scrapling.

Twee kerstkaarten en een scrapling.

 For the trees I used a piece of paper from my stash, it was stamped with different Darkroom Door Texture stamps.  I added the green stamping, another Texture stamp.

A background on each card was done with a stamping block and Distress Inks.

 Voor de bomen gebruikte ik bestempeld papier uit mijn voorraad.  Er zaten al verschillende Texture stempels van Darkroom Door op.  Met groene Distress Paint zette ik er nog een Texture stempel overheen.  Om de achtergronden op de kaarten te maken gebruikte ik stempelblokken met Distress Inkt.  

 This tree was perfect to use on a scrapling.

Dit boompje had de juiste maat voor een scrapling.

On this card I made a Distress Ink background, using a stamping block.  I cut a circle, stamped with Darkroom Door's Circles Background stamp, heat embossed with WOW embossing powder.  I colored the ornament with Distress Stains.  The ornament cap is as Memory Box diecut.  Words from Darkroom Door's Stitched Christmas set.

Een achtergrond gemaakt met een stempelblok en Distress inkt.  Een cirkel uitgestanst, er de  Darkroom Door's Circles achtergrond op gestempeld met Versamark inkt.  Embossingpoeder is van WOW.  De kerstbal is afgewerkt met een stansje van Memory Box.  Een kerstwens van Darkroom Door maakt de kaart verder af.

Sympathy Card

 Unfortunatly we needed another sympathy card.  I like to keep these cards simple.   Nice textured paper and neutral colors.

Helaas hadden we weer een rouwkaartje nodig.  Het liefst houd ik deze kaarten heel eenvoudig.  Neutrale kleuren op mooi papier met textuur.

I used Distress inks and an acrylic stamping block to do the background.  Archival inks were used to stamp the flowers and leaves.

Met een acrylblok en Distress inkt stempelde ik de achtergrond.  De bloemen en blaadjes werden met Archival inkt afgedrukt.
