Gift Box

I needed a box for a small present.

Ik had een doosje nodig voor een geschenkje.

I found the perfect little box that I had saved in my stash.  Covered and lined it with scrapbook paper.

In mijn bewarium vond ik het perfecte doosje.  Scrapbookpapier gekleefd op de buitenkant en binnenin.

Decorated with twine, a tag, flowers and a brad.  

Het label opgesmukt met bloemetjes en een splitpen.

Tag - Colorful Cozy Fall

Seeing beautiful colors of fall in the garden.  Made me want to make this tag.

Mooie herfstkleuren in de tuin.  Ik kreeg zin om een herfstlabel te maken.

Using this stamp, die & stencil set by Wendy Vecchi:  Autumn Greetings.

First I sponged the Perfect Cardstock, using these inks.  I've cut a folded card in half.

Eerst een gevouwen kaart doormidden gesneden.  Eén helft gesponst met deze inkten.

I stamped the images with Archival Ink Thistle

Met Archival Inkt Thistle gestempeld.

Next I used the coordinating dies from the set to cut the stamped images.

Met de bijhorende stansen alles uitgesneden.

From the other half of the folded card I've cut a tag.  I used the inkpads the swipe across the tag to get a 'checkered' background.  Love to use this technique to get an instant background.  

I arranged the cut out pieces and glued them onto the tag.  At the bottom I stamped a saying from the set.  The tag was finished off with Liquid Pearls and some twine.

Uit de andere helft van de gevouwen kaart sneed ik een label.  Met de inktkussens maakte ik een ruitpatroon door er in 2 richtingen overheen te wrijven.  Ik hou wel van zo'n 'ruitpatroon'.  Je hebt er snel een achtergrond mee klaar.

Met clips houd ik de stempels, stansen en stencils van de set samen om op te bergen.

A simple, quick & easy tag for my black & white series.

A favorite quote stamp, from the Art De Fleur Vol 1 stamp set, surrounded by flowers, leaves and twigs.

Een favoriete tekststempel uit de Art De Fleur Vol 1 stempelset, omringd door bloemen, blaadjes en twijgjes.

 Made this simple tag.  Darkroom Door feathers, stamped onto a brayered background from my stash.

Een eenvoudig label gemaakt.  Veren van Darkroom Door gestempeld, de achtergrond uit mijn voorraad werd met een brayer gedaan.

 I wanted a tag to match the left page in my faux leather mini planner.

Het label moest bij de linker pagina in mijn faux leather mini planner passen.

Tag - Real Pansies #1

 Pansies and a butterfly on this tag.

Viooltjes en een vlinder op dit label.

 I picked some pansies in the garden, arranged them on a tag and ran them through the cuttlebug to dye the paper.

Viooltjes geplukt in de tuin, op een label geschikt en door de cuttlebug gedraaid zodat ze het papier kleurden.

 I tried several papers, first this Mix Media paper by Canson.

Ik deed een test met een aantal papiersoorten, zoals dit Mix Media papier van Canson.

I added subtle pencil lines around the flowers.  Used a butterfly stencil to sponge with Distress Ink.  Words from Darkroom Door's Full Bloom Vol 2 set are stamped with Distress Oxide ink Hickory Smoke.

Met potlood de bloemetjes subtiel omlijnd.  Een vlinderstencil van Darkroom Door gebruikt met Distress inkt.  De tekststempel uit de Full Bloom Vol 2 set werd met Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide inkt afgedrukt.
