Scallop Blossoms

I inked up the stamp using two new Distress Inks #Crushed Olive & Wild Honey. After stamping it on watercolor paper I used a damp brush to spread the ink.
De stempel is met twee nieuwe kleuren Distress Inkt #Crushed Olive & Wild Honey afgedrukt op aquarelpapier. Daarna de inkt mooi verdeeld met een natgemaakt penseel.

I left it to dry completey, and used a black marker to draw the stems,dots and scallops.

Goed laten drogen, en daarna heb ik met een zwarte stift de stengels, puntjes en schulprand getekend.

Sunday Scraps - 58

A few weeks ago I colored some paper flowers with Glimmer Mist (see this blogpost), and this is how the cardstock looked after I picked up the flowers.
Een paar weken geleden kleurde ik een aantal papieren bloemetjes met Glimmer Mist (je kan ze hier zien), en zo zag het papier er uit toen ik de bloemetjes wegnam.

I also put a piece of cardstock in the Glimmer Mist that was on the craft sheet, good for another background.
Op het craft sheet was nog genoeg Glimmer Mist om er een stukje kaartkarton mee te kleuren, goed voor nog een achtergrondje.

Spring Card - Birdhouse

I stamped the Tall Birdhouse with Memories Black. Colored it with pencils and Distress Ink. I masked the birdhouse, sponged around it and stamped the Spring Definition with Distress ink.
Het vogelhuisje is met Memories Black gestempeld. Ingekleurd met potloden en Distress inkt. Het huisje gemaskerd, eromheen gesponst en de definitiestempel met Distress inkt gestempeld.

I stamped the Dance collage once with green ink, and again with black.

De Dance collage stempel is eerst met groen afgedrukt, daarna nogmaals met zwarte inkt.

Lace Collection

As you may have noticed... I love to stamp and heat emboss on vellum, especially if I can get the stamps to look like lace. Below are some cards I made before. The thumbnails are clickable, they lead to the original post. I will add more cards as I make them.
't Is misschien al opgevallen... Ik hou er wel van om te stempelen en embossen op vellum, vooral als de stempels dan op kant lijken. Hieronder staat een verzameling kaartjes die ik al eerder maakte. Als je op de plaatjes klikt kom je bij de originele blogpost. Als ik nieuwe kaartjes met kant maak, zet ik ze er weer bij.

Gothic Arch - Hands

Gothic Arch theme #4 at Inkurable Stampers is hands. I own just a few hands stamps. This one is from Sugarlump Studios. I colored the flowers around the hands with pencils, used a Versamark pen on them and clear embossingpowder. Distressed with Vintage Photo ink.

Het Gothic Arch thema #4 bij Inkurable Stampers is handen. Ik heb maar enkele handenstempels, en koos deze van Sugarlump Studios. De bloemen eromheen zijn met potloden ingekleurd, daarna met de Versamark pen in kleurloos poeder geëmbossed. De arch is gekleurd met Distress Ink #Vintage Photo.

Black & white scraplings. I stamped Darkroom Door's Plaid Background on smooth watercolor paper. The Spring inchies are by Inkadinkado.
Zwart-wit scraplings. De plaid achtergrond van Darkroom Door is op glad aquarelpapier gestempeld. De lente inchies zijn van Inkadinkado.

Friendship...

The door stamp by Crafty Individuals was in Art Journey's goodie bag. I stamped it on glossy cardstock and sponged with several Adirondack inks. The quote is from Art Journey's own line of stamps.
De deur is een stempel van Crafty Individuals die in de goodie bag van Art Journey zat. Gestempeld op glanzend kaartkarton on gesponst met verschillende kleuren Adirondack inkt. Tekststempel van Art Journey.

To cover the empty corner at the bottom I punched these circles, distressed the edges with Tim Holtz paper distresser and used another Tim Holtz tool on a soft surface to create a "flower" shape.
Om de kale hoek van de kaart te vullen heb ik een paar rondjes geponst, de randen ruw gemaakt met Tim Holtz paper distresser, en de achterkant van een andere Tim Holtz tool gebruikt op een zachte ondergrond om er een bloemvorm van te maken.

Pink Gerbera - Card & Post-it

A few weeks ago I made an album (click) with this gorgeous Pearlescent Pink Gerbera paper from Darkroom door. This card and post-it holder are made with the leftover pieces of the A4 paper.

Een paar weken geleden maakte ik een album (klik) met het prachtige parelmoer papier van Darkroom Door. Dit post-it boekje en de kaart zijn gemaakt met de stukken papier die ik toen van het A4 vel had afgesneden.

Yesterday I found these Spring napkins in my stash. So I had to make a quick card with the snowdrops. Sentiment is a good old Hero Arts stamp.

Gisteren vond ik deze lente-servetten in de kast. Een kaartje was snel gemaakt. Tekststempel is een goeie ouwe van Hero Arts.
