 I used the Plaid background stamp from Darkroom Door again.  It is an early Darkroom Door stamp, but I still love it, a timeless stamp.  At the end of this post I placed a link to more Plaid items on my blog.  

De Plaid achtergrondstempel van Darkroom Door nog eens gebruikt.  Ik denk dat die inmiddels 10 jaar oud is, maar nog altijd een favoriet die ik regelmatig gebruik, een tijdloze stempel.  Onderaan dit blogbericht plaatste ik een link naar nog meer items met deze stempel.

Using Fine Baubles #5

Two more cards, using these Fine Baubles I colored a while ago with Dylusions Paints and mini ink blending tools.

Weer twee kaarten gemaakt met deze Fine Baubles die ik een tijdje geleden inkleurde met Dylusions verf en mini ink blending tools.

For the background I stamped the Plaid background from Darkroom Door on gel prints from my stash.  I also wanted to use Dutch sentiments, they are by Els Brigé.

Voor de achtergronden stempelde ik de Plaid achtergrondstempel van Darkroom Door op gel prints uit mijn voorraad.  De Nederlandse tekststempel is van Els Brigé.

Next I made two cards, using these Fine Baubles. More gel print backgrounds and Plaid stamping.

Daarna nog 2 kaarten gemaakt met deze Fine Baubles. Ook weer gelprints bestempeld met de Plaid achtergrondstempel.

This card has a detachable bookmark. It can be taken off, and used in a cook book.

I love the Plaid Background stamp together with the From The Kitchen stamp set.

I used words from the Enjoy Life stamp set to create my own sentiment on the card.

I used the Plaid Background stamp from Darkroom Door (again! Love that stamp), combined with older flower stamps from Hero Arts.
De Plaid Background stempel van Darkroom Door (weer!) gebruikt, ik vind het zo'n leuke stempel die overal bij past. Gecombineerd met oudere bloemenstempels van Hero Arts.

I stamped the framed flowers first, cut around the flowers & frames, masked the flowers and stamped the plaid background. I attached the stamped piece to the black cardstock with 3D foamtape.
Eerst de bloemen gestempeld, de achtergrondjes weggesneden, bloemen bedekt met een maskertje en de plaid achtergrond gestempeld. Op een laag zwart karton geplakt met 3D foamtape.

A quick and easy card: The Plaid Background stamp was inked up with Distress Ink #Weathered Wood. I used it as a background, but also to stamp the flower on. I used Tim Holtz paper distresser on the edges, and inked them with Distress Ink #Frayed Burlap & Weathered Wood. Machine stitching, a button and rounded corners as finishing touches.

Een snel en makkelijk kaartje: De Plaid Background stempel gebruikt met Distress Ink #Weathered Wood, als achtergrond en ook de bloem er op gestempeld. Randen bewerkt met de paper distresser van Tim Holtz, en met Distress Ink #Weathered Wood & Frayed Burlap. Stiksels, knoopje en afgeronde hoeken voor de afwerking.

Time For Tea

A card I made with the new Cup Of Tea stamps by Darkroom Door.  I stamped the teapot onto smooth watercolor paper, using Archival Ink Potting Soil.  To make a mask for the teapot I stamped the pot onto copy paper and cut it out. To stamp the Plaid Background at the bottom, I covered the top part with copy paper and the pot with the mask.  The Plaid Background was stamped with Archival Ink Saffron.

Een kaartje gemaakt met de nieuwe Cup Of Tea stempelset van Darkroom Door.  De theepot werd met Archival inkt afgedrukt op glad aquarelpapier.  Uit printerpapier maakte ik een masker voor de theepot.  De Plaid achtergrondstempel is afgedrukt met Archival inkt Saffron.  Daarvoor bedekte ik de theepot met het masker, en de bovenste helft van de kaart met papier, zodat de ruitjes enkel rondom de pot afgedrukt werden.

I removed the masks and watercolored the tea pot with Distress Ink.  I used an ink blending tool to color the white background with Broken China Distress Ink too.

De maskers verwijderd, en de theepot met Distress inkt en een penseel ingekleurd.  De witte achtergrond werd met Broken China Distress Inkt en een ink blending tool gekleurd.

Inside the card I made this pocket with some delicious tea.  The spoon from this set is stamped with Archival ink.

Binnenin is plek voor een zakje heerlijke thee.  Met Archival inkt het lepeltje van de stempelset afgedrukt.

I made a label, and used needle and thread to attach it to the card.

Een labeltje gemaakt, dat met naald en draad werd vastgemaakt.

Two simple black & white cards.

I often use this Hero Arts stamp on cards. It goes for many occasions.

Dit Hero Arts stempeltje gebruik ik vaak op kaartjes. Het past bij veel gelegenheden.

I stamped these Stampers Anonymous images on Darkroom Door's Plaid Background and cut them out.
Deze Stampers Anonymous stempels zijn afgedrukt op Darkroom Door's Plaid Background en uitgeknipt.

Seems I'm using this Plaid Background quite often on my Black & White cards.

Ik geloof dat ik deze Plaid Background dikwijls gebruik op mijn zwart-wit kaartjes.

I used a left over (imperfect) stamped plaid to create the flowers, leaves and reinforcements on these tags.

Een overgebleven (slecht) gestempelde achtergrond gebruikt om de bloemen, blaadjes en verstevigingsringetjes op deze labels te maken. 

The Scribble Daisy is a new favorite stamp by Darkroom Door.  I added a button to the center.

De Scribble Daisy is een nieuwe favoriete stempel van Darkroom Door.  Op elke bloem plakte ik een knoopje.

To create the reinforcements I used the two small circle dies from Hero Arts Nesting Circles Infinity dies.

A card I made for Darkroom Door, using the new small stencil Lavender. 

Voor Darkroom Door maakte ik deze kaart met de nieuwe kleine Lavender stencil.

 I wanted to combine the lavender with a Plaid background.  So I inked the Plaid Background stamp with Distress inks Broken China and Evergreen Bough, misted with water and stamped onto smooth cardstock.  I used the mini Make Art STAY-tion to keep the Lavender stencil in place and sponged with Faded Jeans.

Het leek me wel leuk om de lavendel stencil te combineren met een ruitjesachtergrond.  Dus eerst de Plaid achtergrondstempel beïnkt met Distress Oxide inkten Broken China en Evergreen Bough.  Water verneveld over de stempel en op glad papier afgedrukt.  De stencil er overheen gelegd.  Handig op z'n plek gehouden met de mini Make Art STAY-tion.  Gesponst met Distress Oxide Faded Jeans.

I inked the edges with Faded Jeans and used the same ink to stamp the circle sentiment.  Two circle punches were used to cut and layer the sentiment.  I used a strip of torn vellum and white twine on the stamped panel, and glued the piece onto a top folded white card.

De randen gesponst met Faded Jeans.  Met dezelfde inkt ook het rondje met tekst gestempeld.  Twee cirkelponsen gebruikt.  De kaart samengesteld met vellum en het wit touwtje.  Het geheel op een dubbelgevouwen witte kaart geplakt.

Darkroom Door - ATC Country Cottage

The Country Cottage image was stamped with Memories Black ink on a Talens Ecoline & Perfect Pearls background. I cut the image in half to create 2 ATCs. Colored the image with pencils. Layered on a stamped Plaid Background. I added color to the wordstrips with Distress Ink #Frayed Burlap. QuicKutz photo corners, Making Memories mini brads and Tim Holtz mini staples.

De Country Cottage is gestempeld met Memories Black op een achtergrond van Talens Ecoline met Perfect Pearls. Afdruk doormidden gesneden om 2 ATCs te maken. Ingekleurd met potloden en op een Plaid achtergrond geplakt. De wordstrips een beetje kleur gegeven met Distress Ink #Frayed Burlap. QuicKutz fotohoekjes, met Making Memories mini brads vastgezet. Mini nietjes van Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher.

Darkroom Door - Hugs & Kisses

I cut a heart from a stamped Plaid Background. The rose is stamped and heat embossed, colored with Twinkling H2Os. I love that you can bend the stem when you put the stamp onto the clear stamping block.

Een hart uit de gestempeld Plaid Background geknipt. De roos is gestempeld en kleurloos geëmbossed. Ingekleurd met Twinkling H2Os. Leuk dat je de steel van de roos een beetje gebogen op je acrylblok kan plakken.
