Hearts and Love 2005

This is a redo of my very first entry in a stamping contest: Hero Arts 2005 "Hearts and Love" contest. I received an honorable mention for this one. (forgot to take pictures of the original one)

De allereerste kaart die ik ooit instuurde voor een wedstrijd: Hero Arts 2005 " Hearts and Love", kreeg een eervolle vermelding. De kaart heb ik later opnieuw gemaakt, want in mijn haast vergat ik foto's te nemen.

Justjohanna's design team members were asked to design some "created by" stamps. Several of them will be in the next catalog, and three of them are mine :)

Swap ATC's - Birthday Calendar

Last year, Sylvie and I swapped ATC's each month. She also made me this gorgeous box to put her ATCs in. It was a treat to receive one of them each month. They are really beautiful. Take a look at them on her blog. Thank you Sylvie!!

Justjohanna Cards

A set of cards, using justjohanna stamps only. PP = Wild Asparagus. I love these shades of blue and brown. Blue paper is Sizzix. Prima Flowers, Foof a La buttons, MM brads, Ranger embossing powder.

Verjaardagskaartje - Birthday card

On this birthday card I used one of my Spin & Splash backgrounds. I know I have still a LOT to find out about this technique... Background inks are Adirondack and Ecoline gold. Kid's image by Magnolia. 3D flowers and dots are by Auddesign, Dutch sentiment by Artemio.

Op dit verjaardagskaartje gebruikte ik een van mijn spin & splash achtergrondjes. Ik weet dat ik nog veeeeeeeel moet leren over deze techniek... Inkt voor de achtergrond is Adirondack en Ecoline goud. Engeltje is een Magnolia stempel. De 3D bloemetjes en puntjes zijn van Auddesign, verjaardagswens van Artemio

This cute Magnolia stamp was another surprise from Aud. Thanks!! It is really wonderful! Photo corners and alpha are Quickutz dies. Punched hearts. "Hallo" is not a spelling error, it's how we say hello in Dutch :)

Deze schattige Magnolia stempel was een verrassing van Aud. Dankjewel!! Echt leuk! Fotohoekjes en alfabet zijn Quickutz stansjes, het hartje is een pons.

Happy Birthday Fabian

Birthday card for my nephew. I used a background stamp from Paper Artsy. Oval and arrow are Get Inspired stamps by De Creatie. "Happy" and Birthday Definition are Hero Arts.

Verjaardagskaart voor mijn neefje. Paper Artsy stempel op Ecoline achtergrond. Ovaal en pijl zijn stempels uit te Get Inspired reeks van De Creatie. "Happy" en Birthday defenitie zijn Hero Arts stempels.

Spin and splash

A few samples, after playing with my new toy: spin and splash. I have been experimenting, but there's still a lot I have to find out... (paper, ink, blending solution...) I used Adirondack alcohol inks, and I like the effect of the gold here, which is Ecoline ink. I used one of these backgrounds here on this Christmas Card.

Een paar achtergrondjes, gemaakt met mijn nieuw speeltje: spin and splash. Ik heb een paar dingen geprobeerd, maar er is heel veel wat ik nog moet uitzoeken (papiersoort, inkt, blending solution...) Hier gebruikte ik Adirondack alcohol inkt, en gouden Ecoline. Ik maakte met zo'n achtergrondje deze kerstkaart.

There was a lot of Ecoline gold on the cover of the spin and splash. I "recycled" that on my craft sheet, added more Ecoline, and made some background paper for future use.

Achteraf zat er heel wat Ecoline goud op het deksel van de spin and splash. Die heb ik "gerecycleerd" op mijn craft sheet, en met nog meer Ecoline nog wat achtergrondpapier gemaakt om later te gebruiken.

ATC - holder (last minute present)

I had to make a last minute present, so I made this ATC box. (Template) On the front I used Chatterbox PP and justjohanna stamps. The frame is hand drawn, inspired by Klaartje's cards, alpha is QK Sunshine.

Ik had nog een "snel klaar" kadootje nodig, het werd deze ATC houder. (Patroon) Op de vookant gebruikte ik Chatterbox papier en een stempel van justjohanna. Ik tekende het kader, geinspireerd door Klaartje's kaarten. Alfabet is QK Sunshine.

My Christmas Card for you

This is my Christmas Card for you, wishing you Happy Holidays. I also want to thank you for visiting my blog, and leaving all these nice comments.

Dit is mijn Kerstkaart voor jullie. Fijne Feestdagen gewenst. Ik wil jullie ook van harte danken om mijn blog zo vaak te bezoeken, en een berichtje achter te laten.

Orange and cloves - Sinaasappel en kruidnagels

I love the smell of orange and cloves, especially at Christmas. I couldn't resist making one this morning. I think it's called "pomander".

I hou echt van deze geur: sinaasappel met kruidnagels, vooral rond kerstmis. Ik kon het niet laten om er nog snel eentje te maken vanmorgen.

Welcome Winter stamps

I got a few questions about the "Winter Wonderland" Postal stamp, which I used on the snowmen card. It's part of this Welcome Winter set by Inkadinkado.

Ik kreeg enkele vraagjes over de "Winter Wonderland" poststempel, die ik gebruikte op de sneeuwmannen-kaart. Hij hoort bij deze Welcome Winter set van Inkadinkado.

Snowmen card

I used Nancy's Sketch from 2Peas' Stamping Board for this card. I just love that "snowman from above" stamp (thanks Aud!) Snowflakes by Inkadinkado, Sentiment by Hero Arts. PP is Basic Grey.

Voor deze kaart gebruikte ik Nancy's schets van het 2Peas stempelforum. De sneeuwman stempel vind ik echt grappig (bedankt Aud!). Sneeuwvlokken zijn van Inkadinkado, kerstwens van Hero Arts. Bedrukt papier van Basic Grey.
