Using Up My Scrapbook Paper #14

Using up more of my mega stash of scrapbook paper.  One 12" sheet, turned into 9 Christmas cards.  First 2023 Christmas cards.

Weer een vel scrapbookpapier uit mijn mega voorraad gebruikt.  Genoeg om 9 kerstkaarten te maken, meteen mijn eerste kerstkaarten voor 2023.

I also used this tiny star stamp from Darkroom Door's Stitched Christmas set.

Using Up My Scrapbook Paper #6

Today I used the last piece of a 12" x 12" scrapbook paper to create a quick & easy card.  See all cards I made with this sheet at the end of this blogpost.

Vandaag het laatste stuk van een vel scrapbookpapier gebruikt om een snel en makkelijk kaartje te maken.  Onderaan dit blogbericht kan je alle kaarten uit dit vel papier zien.

Darkroom Door stamps I used.  The Plaid background stamp is a favorite.  I use this stamp often.

Deze Darkroom Door stempels gebruikt.  De Plaid achtergrondstempel is een favoriet, die ik heel vaak gebruik.

Sunday Scraps - 644

I used a left over (imperfect) stamped plaid to create the flowers, leaves and reinforcements on these tags.

Een overgebleven (slecht) gestempelde achtergrond gebruikt om de bloemen, blaadjes en verstevigingsringetjes op deze labels te maken. 

The Scribble Daisy is a new favorite stamp by Darkroom Door.  I added a button to the center.

De Scribble Daisy is een nieuwe favoriete stempel van Darkroom Door.  Op elke bloem plakte ik een knoopje.

To create the reinforcements I used the two small circle dies from Hero Arts Nesting Circles Infinity dies.

Uit de kleinste restjes papier sneed ik de verstevigingsringetje met behulp van de kleinste stansjes uit de Hero Arts Nesting Circles Infinity Dies.

I started with this left over stamped piece.  I guess I had used Distress Inks to stamp the Plaid background a while ago.

I was asked to make some sympathy cards.

Op aanvraag enkele rouwkaartjes gemaakt.

On white folded cards I stamped background stamps from Darkroom Door (listed below) using Distress Oxide ink Pumice Stone.  I made the tealight photo while ago.

Achtergrondstempels van Darkroom Door op witte kaarten afgedrukt met Distress Oxide Pumice Stone.  De foto met het theelichtje maakte ik een tijdje geleden al.

On a white folded card I stamped the Plaid background stamp from Darkroom Door using Shabby Shutters Distress Oxide ink.

Op een witte dubbele kaart stempelde ik de Plaid achtergrondstempel van Darkroom Door met Distress Oxide inkt Shabby Shutters.

Leaf dies are from Eileen Hull.

August 30 - Book

A stamped book on today's tag.

Een boek gestempeld op mijn label vandaag.

After stamping the Mini Open Book stamp wtih black Archival ink, I masked the image to sponge the background with Distress Inks.  I also used these Texture stamps with Forest Moss Distrss ink.

Eerst het Mini Open Book afgedrukt met zwarte Archival inkt, met een maskertje bedekt om de achtergrond te sponzen met Distress inkten.  De Texture stempels afgedrukt met Distress inkt Forest Moss.

The stamps from the Nature Walk set were inked with Ecoline Brush Pens.

De stempels uit de Nature Walk set werden met Ecoline Brush Pens beïnkt.

A saying form this set was stamped with black Archival ink.  

Een tekststempel uit de set afgedrukt met zwarte Archival inkt.

The pages looked too bright, so I inked the pages using a  detail blending tool with Distress Ink Antique Linen.

De bladzijden in het book leken een beetje te wit.  Met een detail blending tool bracht ik hier en daar wat Distress inkt Antique Linen aan.

August 18 - Fold

On today's tag I made a fold in the leaves, simple, I know.  

De blaadjes naar beneden gevouwen op dit label, eenvoudig, ik weet het, maar kon niks anders bedenken voor het thema 'fold'.

These stamps were used with Distress Ink Speckled Egg on the background.

Deze stempels afgedrukt met Distress inkt Speckled Egg.

The flower stamp was inked with Ecoline Brush Pens.  I used a brush to get a waterolor look.  I've cut a stem and leaves out of cardstock, that was colored with a brush pen first.

De bloemenstempel beïnkt met Ecoline brush pennen.  Een penseel gebruikt voor een aquarel-look.  Stengel en blaadjes geknipt uit papier dat ik eerst groen kleurde met een brush pen. 

Finshed off with a quote from the Etched Flowers set.

Een tekst uit de Etched Flowers set maakt het label af.

Wendy Vecchi - Doodle Christmas

Ranger released beautiful new stamps, chippies and liquid pearls from Wendy Vecchi.  Here's a tag I made, using the Doodle Christmas stamps.  

Ranger bracht mooie nieuwe stempels, chippies en liquid pearls van Wendy Vecchi uit.  Dit label maakte ik met de Doodle Christmas stempels.

First I did a 'plaid' background, by swiping the Sky Bue inkpad across the tag.  The edges were inked with Potting Soil.

Eerst een 'plaid' achtergrond gemaakt door met het Sky Blue inktkussen over het label te wrijven, horizontaal en vertikaal.  Met Potting Soil inkt de randen gekleurd.

I used the scallop die from the Let's Shop set to cut the bottom edge of the tag.

De schulpstans uit de Let's Shop set gebruikt om onderaan een schulprand te snijden.

I stamped with Archival ink Potting Soil.  The wreath was stamped once more without reinking.

Alles gestempeld met Archival inkt Potting Soil.  De krans nogmaals afgedrukt zonder de stempel opnieuw te beïntken.

I used the new Doolde Christmas set, the scallop die from the Let's Shop set and 'Christmas' from the Warm Wishes set.

De nieuwe Doodle Christmas set gebruikt, de schulpstans van de Let's Shop set en het woord Christmas van de Warm Wishes set.

Black & White - 506

On this black & white card I covered the white folded card with a large torn post-it note to stamp the Daisy Delight background stamp.  Next I used the other part of the torn post-it note to cover the stamped flowers so I could stamp the Plaid background.  I also sponged the edge with black Archival ink.

Twee achtergrondstempels van Darkroom Door gebruikt op deze zwart-wit kaart.  Elke helft afzonderlijk bedekt met een groot gescheurd post-it plakbriefje om de bloemen en ruitjes te stempelen.  Ook een randje in het midden gesponst.

Words from the Beautiful Blooms set were stamped with black Archival ink and cut out with die from Elisabeth Craft Designs.  I rounded the corners of my card with the corner chomper from WeRMemoryMakers.

Een tekst uit de Beautiful Blooms set afgedrukt met zwarte Archival inkt en uitgesneden met een snijmal van Elisabeth Craft Designs.  Hoekjes van de kaart afgerond met de corner chomper van WeRMemoryMakers.
