Justjohanna has some great new stamps again. This Flower Garland is one of them, I was wondering how it would look on vellum... so I had to try it.

Justjohanna heeft weer nieuwe stempels uitgebracht. Deze bloemenguirlande is er eentje van. Ik was benieuwd hoe hij er op vellum uit zou zien, dus heb ik het snel geprobeerd...

Wonderful Mail Day

Two magazines in the mail today. I was lucky to have cards in both magazines.

Twee stempelbladen in de brievenbus vandaag. Ik heb het geluk om kaarten te hebben in allebei.

Art Specially for You is a new Dutch Stamping Magazine, it is beautifully layed out, with great tips, technique articles, interviews, and magnificent Art.

Art Specially for You is een nieuw Nederlandstalig stempelmagazine, prachtig gemaakt, met nuttige tips, artikels over stempeltechnieken, interviews en natuurlijk echt mooi stempelwerk. Fantastisch om weer een Nederlandstalig blad te hebben. Wie nog twijfelt of het de moeite waard is, kan ik absoluut geruststellen, het is een aanrader.

Yesterday I heard that I had two cards published in this American Magazine "Simply Sentiments": a Justjohanna card and a Auddesign card. I was completely surprised. I received my copy today.

Gisteren hoorde ik dat 2 van mijn kaarten in dit Amerikaans blad "Simply Sentiments" gepubliceerd zijn: een Justjohanna kaart en eentje met Auddesign stempels. Ik ben compleet verrast. Vandaag ontving ik mijn exemplaar.

ATC - wish

This ATC was made for a swap. Ecoline background (311 and 411), inkpads: Versamark, Memories Black and Colorbox Fluid Chalk #Dark Peony.

Cards for kids - Kinderkaartjes

These quick and easy cards are 4" x 4". The cute characters are called Rube and Rutje, they are well-known in Belgium and Holland, designed by Griet Bertels.

Deze makkelijke kaartjes zijn 10 x 10 cm. De schattige figuurtjes, getekend door Griet Bertels, zijn Rube en Rutje, bekend in België en Nederland.

Thank You - dank je wel

A quick and easy thank you card. Pieces of handmade paper, machine stitching, buttons (Rayher), stamp from a local shop.

Snel en makkelijk, dit dankkaartje. Stukjes speciaal papier opgestikt, knoopjes (Rayher) en een stempel uit een winkel in onze buurt.

4 x 4 card, all stamps by Maryse Carrier. Picture shows the new dotted stamps I used. The squares are Maryse stamps too, but not from the new release.

10 x 10 cm kaartje, gemaakt met stempels uit de nieuwe collectie van Maryse Carrier. Je kan de puntjesstempels op de laatste foto zien. De gestempelde vierkantjes zijn ook Maryse stempels, maar niet van de nieuwe collectie.

DCM Theme - Get Well

A card I made for the Theme at DCM. I used stamps from Maryse Carrier's new release. Dutch sentiment (by Maryse too) says: Get Well.

Een kaart voor het thema op DCM. Alle stempels zijn van de nieuwe reeks van Maryse Carrier, ook de tekststempel.

Justjohanna Tag

I rubbed the shipping tag with Distress inkpads (Old Paper and Frayed Burlap). Stamping is done with DI Frayed Burlap and Memories Black. All stamps are by justjohanna.

Twee kleuren Distress inkt gebruikt voor de achtergrond: Old Paper en Frayed Burlap. Gestempeld met DI Frayed Burlap en Memories Black. Gebruikte stempels zijn allemaal van justjohanna.

Maryse Carrier stamps

My hubby has been cutting and sanding woodblocks to put these new Maryse Carrier images on. This is how I store them, easy to find, easy to use. Maryse is giving her website a new look.

Mijn ventje heeft weer houtblokjes gezaagd en geschuurd om deze nieuwe Maryse Carrier stempels te monteren. Zo bewaar ik ze, makkelijk te vinden, makkelijk te gebruiken. Maryse is momenteel bezig met een update van haar website.

Cake card

On this card I combined the scirpt stamp "I Love Cake" with the Scalloped Border stamp. I added shadow with colored pencils and sponged chalk ink, to create a layered look. All stamps by justjohanna. Inkpads: Colorbox Fluid Chalk (Chestnut Roan and Creamy Brown)

Twee stempels gecombineerd voor de achtergrond: "I Love Cake" script en geschulpte boord. Met kleurpotloden en gesponste Chalk inkt heb ik de schaduw gemaakt, zodat het laagjes lijken. Alle stempels zijn van justjohanna. Stempelinkt: Colorbox Fluid Chalk (Chestnut Roan en Creamy Brown)

Merci Bird-coop

All stamps by justjohanna, I really love this Scalloped Border stamp. I used a stamppositioner to line it up. Inkpad is Memories Black.

Alle gebruikte stempels zijn van justjohanna, de geschulpte rand vind ik een mooie stempel om op kaarten te gebruiken. Hij is iets kleiner dan de kaart, maar door een stempelliniaal te gebruiken kon ik de 2de afdruk perfect laten aansluiten.

Dutch stamps

Een paar dagen geleden toonde Aud haar nieuwste stempelsheets. Nu is ze van plan om die ook in't Nederlands te ontwerpen, als er voldoende belangstelling voor is. Dat zou toch FANTASTISCH zijn!! Ik hoop echt dat ze 't doet. Jij ook? Laat dan een berichtje op haar blog.

Swirly Chic Challenge - ATC

For a "Swirly Chic" Challenge on a Yahoo Group I'm on. Background is Ecoline (Sepia 416). Inkpads: Colorbox Fluid Chalk (Creamy Brown and Chestnut Roan). Gold embossed stamps are by de Creatie. I really like the row of frames stamp. I painted with bleach inside the frames, before I masked and stamped.

Voor een "Swirly Chic" Challenges op een Yahoo groep waarvan ik lid ben. Ecoline achtergrond (Sepia 416). Stempelinkt: Colorbox Fluid Chalk (creamy Brown en Chestnut Roan). De goud ge-emboste stempels zijn van de Creatie. In de rij lijstjes met bleek "geschilderd", daarna een maskertje opgeplakt en gestempeld. Ik vind de lijstjesstempel echt prachtig.

Sketch card- Thank you

A sketch posted by Andi on 2Peas was used for this card. PP = 7Gypsies. Scroll and oval stamp are by justjohanna, Flower, Leaves and Thank You are Hero Arts stamps. White Memories inkpad.

Een schets van Andi op 2peas heb ik gebruikt voor deze kaart. PP is van 7Gypsies. Krul en geschulpt ovaal zijn justjohanna stempels. Bloem, blaadjes en wens zijn van Hero Arts. Witte inkt van Memories.

DCM sketch - Congratulations

My very first entry for DCM simply-super-sketch. Layers and flower are stamped with Hero Arts stamps, Colorbox Fluid Chalk (Creamy Brown and Chestnut Raon.) Dutch sentiment by Mariëtte Verhees. Button: Chatterbox. Rick rack: Allmymemories.

New Maryse Carrier - Van Harte

Stamps are from Maryse Carrier's new collection. Ecoline (227, 411, 657) Colorbox Fluid Chalk (Burnt Sienna, Olive Pastel), Memories Black, Iridescent medium on the dragonfly.

Stempels van Maryse Carrier's nieuwe collectie. Ecoline, en stempelinkt in de vermelde kleuren. Iridescent medium gebruikt voor de libelle.

Flowers are a gift from **Inge** who sent me a beautiful card too. It's in the slideshow in the sidebar. Thank you Inge!! Foof-a-La buttons.

De bloemetjes kreeg ik van **Inge**. Ze stuurde me ook een heel mooie kaart, die je kan zien in de slideshow. Bedankt Inge!! Foof-a-La knoopjes.

Hallo

Maya Road Chipboard Blossom, colored with Adirondack Acrylic Paint Dabber, heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Glued on some background script left from yesterday's ATC, and cut out. Scroll stamp by justjohanna. "Hallo" is a new Maryse Carrier stamp,from a sheet with Dutch words.

Maya Road Chipboard Blossom, gekleurd met Adirondack Acrylic Paint Dabber. Laagje kleurloos embossing, daarna op een stukje achtergrondtekst van een vorige ATC geplakt en uitgeknipt. Krul stempel is van justjohanna. "Hallo" is van het nieuwe stempelsheet van Maryse Carrier, met wensen in het Nederlands.

Challenge - White

White is one of my favorite "colors", so I wanted to participate in this week's challenge on Wednesdaystamper, this ATC is my entry. White Bazzill cardstock, vellum, PSX stamps and Magenta (grid). Silver Pearl embossingpowder (Victoria).

Wit is een van mijn favoriete "kleuren", dus heb ik nog eens een bijdrage gemaakt voor de uitdaging op Wednesdaystamper. Het is een ATC geworden, Bazzill cardstock, vellum, PSX stempels en Magenta (raster). Silver Pearl embossingpoeder van Victoria.

Baby card - 2Peas sketch

A weekly sketch from 2peas' stamping board. Susan provided the sketch. All stamps are by Auddesign: carriage, sentiment, flower,swirl, photo corner. Heat embossed. I don't think I ever made a pink or blue baby card :)

Een schets van het 2Peas stempelforum. Deze is bedacht door Susan. Alle stempels zijn van Auddesign: wandelwagen, tekst, bloem, krul en fotohoekje. Ranger Seafoam White embossingpoeder. Ik kan me niet herinneren dat ik ooit een blauwe of roze babykaart gemaakt heb :)

Happy Easter

All stamps on this Easter card are by justjohanna. Versamark, clear embossingpowder and bleach on the tiny flowers. I stamped the bunnies on ecoline paper. Colorbox Chalk inkpads #Olive Pastel and #Chestnut Roan. QuicKutz Sunshine alpha.

4" x 4" Flower card

A 4x4 card again, Hero Arts flowers and adhesive gemstones, Stampotique "vases". Clear embossing on Colorbox Sky Gray pigment ink. Bleach on the flowers first, then I painted them with iridescent medium (picture below). Ecoline background.

Nog een 10 x 10cm kaartje. Hero Arts bloemen en steentjes, Stampotique voor de "vaasjes" stempel. Kleurloos embossingpoeder op Colorbox Sky Gray pigment inkt. Bloemetjes zijn eerst ontkleurd met bleekwater, daarna iridescent medium geschilderd (foto hieronder). Ecoline achtergrond.

Sketch cards

Two sketch cards I made today: All stamps by justjohanna.

Twee schetskaarten gemaakt vandaag: stempels zijn van justjohanna.

The first one is a Joy Of Cardmaking Recipe . Flower is stamped on Ecoline.

De eerste is een JOCM2 schets. De bloem is op Ecolinepapier gestempeld.

The second one is a sketch by Jacqueline. She povided the March Sketch #1 on 2peas' stamping board.

De tweede is een schets van Jacqueline. Zij bedacht de schets voor de eerste week van maart op het stempelforum van 2peas.

ATC - holder

Here's an easy way to create an ATC holder. The cover is a 2 3/4" wide strip.

Dit is een makkelijke manier om een ATC boekje te maken. De omslag is een 7 cm brede strook, je krijgt er dus 3 uit een A4.

Template for the pocket. I cut 6 pockets for this booklet.
Patroon voor de zakjes. Voor dit boekje maakte ik er 6.

Stamp the edges. Apply glue on the middle part of the pockets only. I use a square punch to cut out the V-shape.

Stempel de randen. Breng lijm aan, alleen op het midden van de zakjes. Ik gebruikte een vierkante pons om de V-vorm aan de bovenkant te maken.

Attach a closure before you glue the pockets in place.

Bevestig de sluiting vooraleer je de zakjes op hun plaats plakt.
