Darkroom Door - Sketched Numbers #2

On this card I used the new Sketched Numbers stamps from DarkroomDoor simply as a background, stamped over a ghost print.

Bij deze kaart gebruikte ik de nieuwe Sketched Numbers stempels van DarkroomDoor als achtergrond, gestempeld op een ghost print.

Archival inks were used:  Watering Can and Shadow Grey.  I stamped a saying, using the small letters from the Alphabet Medley set.  I chose this guy with his dog to complete the card.

Met Archival inkten Watering Can en Shadow Grey gestempeld.  Voor de tekst gebruikte ik de kleine letters uit de Alphabet Medley set.  Het ventje en zijn hond maken de kaart compleet.

I used Archival ink Peat Moss to stamp the photo stamp and colored the image with pencils.

Love the hashtag stamp from the new Sketched Numbers stamp set.  Archival ink Potting Soil was used here.

Leuk dat er in de nieuwe Sketched Numbers stempelset een hekje zit.  Gestempeld met Archival inkt Potting Soil en uitgeknipt.

These DarkroomDoor stencils were used with Archival ink Potting Soil.

Bij deze stencils gebruikte ik ook Archival inkt Potting Soil.

Darkroom Door - Sketched Numbers #1

DarkroomDoor released new stamps.  I received the Sketched Numbers set, which I love.  These numbers will go well with the Sketched Alphabet.  But today I used some numbers on a birthday card.

DarkroomDoor bracht nieuwe stempels uit.  Ik ontving de Sketched Numbers set.  Deze nonchalante cijfers passen perfect bij de letters van de Sketched Alphabet set.  Vandaag gebruikte ik enkele cijfers uit de set op een verjaardagskaart.

I started with a gel print.  The circles at the left hand side (Abstract 02) were already on the gel print.  I added the new Abstract 11 stamp on the right hand side, using Archival Ink Dandelion.

Gestart met een gelprint.  De cirkels aan de linkerkant (Abstract 02) zaten al op de gelprint.  Aan de rechterkant drukte ik de nieuwe Abstract 11 stempel af met Archival inkt Dandelion.

To stamp the word block I used black Archival ink.

De word block stempel afgedrukt met zwarte Archival inkt.

The Sketched Numbers were printed on a gelprint and cut out.  To make them stand out against the background I glued them on a stamped label from the Lots of Labels set.

De Sketched Numbers op een stukje gelprint afgedrukt en uitgeknipt.  Ze kregen een wit gestempeld label als achtergrond, een stempel uit de Lots of Labels set.

For a fun detail I used a wobble spring.

Voor een extra accent gebruikte ik een springveertje.

Wendy Vecchi Make Art - Award Winning #3

Here's another card I made, using the Award Winning stamp, die & stencil set from Wendy Vecchi's Make Art collection.  I combined the set with a flower stamp from the A Million Thanks set.

Nog een kaart gemaakt met de Award Winning stempel-, stans- en stencil set van Wendy Vecchi's Make Art collectie.  Gecombineerd met een bloem uit de A Million Thanks set.

The stencil from the Award Winning set was used with Archival inks to sponge a sun.

Met de stencil uit de Award Winning set een zon gesponst met Archival inkten.

The trophy cup was stamped onto wide 'silver' tape from my stash.  Looks brown on this photo because it reflects the wooden cabinet.  I stamped with black Archival ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder, to avoid the ink rubbing off.

De trofee beker werd op brede zilverkleurige tape uit mijn voorraad afgedrukt.  Op deze foto lijkt die bruin omdat het kastje er in reflecteert.  Met zwarte Archival inkt gestempeld en er meteen kleurloos embossingpoeder overheen gestrooid.  Zonder het embossen zou je de inkt kunnen afwrijven veronderstel ik.

The flower was stamped onto brayered paper.  I added a bit of color using pencils.

De bloem werd op brayerpapier gestempeld.  Uitgestanst en met potloden verder ingekleurd.

Found these flowers, stamped and cut out inside the Warm Wishes stamp set storage box.  Love finding things I forgot about, especially on busy days.  I stamped the Criss Cross background stamp with black Archival ink.  Sponged the background with Distress Inks and splattered water drops.  

De bloemen vond ik kant en klaar in de stempeldoos Warm Wishes.  Altijd handig op dagen dat je niet veel tijd hebt om iets te maken.  De Criss Cross achtergrondstempel afgedrukt met zwarte Archival inkt.  Gesponst met Distress inkten, waterdruppels laten vallen en droog gedept.

Sunday Scraps - 552

As usual on Sundays I made something using scraps or left over pieces.  Today I used a  circle template (see last photo in this blogpost)  I had made when I did this spread in my art journal. 

Zoals gewoonlijk op zondag, maakte ik iets met restjes.  Vandaag gebruikte ik een cirkel template (zie laatste foto in dit bericht) dat ik laatst maakte om een cirkel te sponzen op deze pagina in mijn art journal.

I've cut the template in half, glued it onto a folded card after I had stamped the sayings on the card.

Het template doormidden gesneden en op een witte dubbelgevouwen kaart geplakt, nadat ik daar eerst de tekst op afgedrukt had.

I used the same ink and stencil that I had used in my art journal.

Met dezelfde inkt en stencil gewerkt die ik ook in mijn art journal gebruikte.

On the other part of the inky circle template I stamped these small flowers to cut out, and arranged them around the edge.

Op de andere helft van het template stempelde ik deze kleine bloemetjes om uit te knippen.  Er zat al inkt op het papier, dus inkleuren was niet meer nodig.  Ik kleefde ze langs de rand.

These little flowers are in the Full Bloom Vol 2 stamp set from DarkroomDoor.  I use them often,

Black & White - 498

A fviolet card in black & white, after a colored version from a few days ago.

Een viooltjeskaart in zwart-wit, na de gekleurde versie van enkele dagen geleden.

I used Penny Black dies to add a decorative edge.  Two good old favorite Texture stamps from Darkroom Door were stamped around the image.

De Penny Black stans zorgt voor een decoratief randje.  Rondom de bloem stempelde ik met enkele oudere favoriete texture stempels van Darkroom Door.

On this colorful card I used the trophy cup stamp from the Make Art Award Winning set as a vase.  I stamped the trophy with Archival Ink Night Sky, cut it out and turned it upside down.  I used the set on a black & white card HERE

Op deze kleurrijke kaart gebruikte ik de trofee beker uit de Make Art Award Winning set als vaas.  Gestempeld met Archival inkt Night Sky, uitgeknipt en ondersteboven gekeerd.  De set gebruikte ik eerder al om een zwart-wit kaart te maken HIER.  

I used brayer paper (from a gel print session) as a background.  The stencil from the 'Let's Shop' set was used to sponge the stripes and dots with Archival inks.  Love the new Domed Blending Foam!

Flower, leaves and butterfly are from the 'Country Flowers' set, also stamped over brayer paper.

Na het gelprinten hou je vellen kleurrijk brayerpapier over.  Fijn om weer te gebruiken.  Op zulk brayer papier gebruikte ik Archival inkten met de stencil uit de 'Let's Shop' set om strepen en stippen te sponzen.  De nieuwe Domed Blending Foam van Ranger is zo handig!  De bloem, blaadjes en vlinder uit de 'Country Flowers' set werden ook op brayerpapier gestempeld.

On this card I used the mug stamp & die from Wendy Vecchi's  Let's Shop set.

In de Let's Shop set van Wendy Vecchi zit een mok stempel met stans.  Die gebruikte ik op deze kaart.

First I sponged a background, using Make Art Blendable Dye Inks Prickly Pear and Fern Green, with stencils from these Make Art sets.

Eerst een achtergrond gesponst met Make Art Blendable Dye inkten Prickly Pear en Fern Green, met stencils uit deze Make Art sets.

I've stamped the mugs with black Archival ink and cut them out.  I stamped them once more on Wendy Vecchi's tape and hand cut them without the white border.  Adhered these on top of the white mugs.  I alos used tape at the bottom of the card.

De mokken stempelde ik met zwarte Archival inkt.  Uitgestanst en op de kaart geplakt.  De mok nogmaals afgedrukt op Wendy Vecchi's tape, en uitgeknipt zonder wit randje.  De uitgeknipte delen op de witte mokken geplakt.  Tape onderaan op de kaart gekleefd.

To stamp the saying I used the new Night Sky Archival ink.

Voor de tekst nam ik de nieuwe Night Sky Archival inkt.

Another card I made using the new Make Art set 'Let's Shop' by Wendy Vecchi.  On this monochromatic card I used sentiments from the set to stamp a background.  To do the polka dots I used the stencil from the set.

Weer een kaart gemaakt met de nieuwe Make Art set 'Let's Shop' van Wendy Vecchi.  Een kaart in 1 kleur.  De tekststempels uit de set gebruikte ik als achtergrond.  Voor de stippen gebruikte ik de stencil uit de set.

I love Archival inks, and I love this fabulous blue color.  Also from the new Wendy Vecchi release.

Archival inkten vind ik super om mee te stempelen, en deze nieuwe Night Sky vind ik heel mooi.  

On the shopping bag I used the inlay masking technique. Flower, leaves and berries are from the Country Flowers set.  

Op het winkeltasje gebruikte ik de inlay masking techniek.  Bloemen, blaadjes en besjes zijn stempels uit de Country Flowers set.

I also used the bow from the Warm Wishes set, and the little heart from the A Million Thanks set.

Sharing another card I made, using the new Let's Shop set by Wendy Vecchi.

Met de Let's Shop stempel-, stans- en stencilset van Wendy Vecchi maakte ik deze kaart.

The set comes with this die.  I used it to do the scalloped edge.

Dit snijmalletje zit in de set.  Ik maakte er het schulprandje mee.

Next I sponged the white cardstock with Sky Blue Blendable Dye Ink and stamped with Archival Ink Tree Branch.

Daarna het wit kaartkarton gesponst met Sky Blue Blendable Dye inkt.  Stempelen deed ik met Archival inkt Tree Branch.

The shopping bag die from the set also creates scored lines, easy to fold the flaps.

Uit kraft karton een winkeltasje gestanst.  De snijmal maakt meteen ook de vouwlijnen, makkelijk om te flapjes te plooien.

The stencil from the set was used with Archival Ink Acorn to sponge the polka dots and the handles.

  I glued a piece of twine over the handles, and put some euros inside the shopping bag.
