Get Well Card

The background on this get well card is a gel print from my stash.  I've first cut out a circle.  I stamped the Criss Cross background stamp with black Archival ink.  On the circle I stamped the flowers before I've put it back in place, using foam tape.  Dutch word is a die cut.

Als achtergrond weer een gel print gebruikt.  Eerst de cirkel uitgestanst.  De Criss Cross achtergrondstempel met zwarte Archival inkt afgedrukt.  Op de cirkel stempelde ik bloemen.  Met 3D tape terug op z'n plek gekleefd. De woordstans is van Marianne Design. 

On the gel print I had used some Abstract stamps from Darkroom Door.

Op de gelprint gebruikte ik enkele stempels uit de Abstract reeks van Darkroom Door.

Sunday Scraps - 549

As usual on Sundays I made something, using scraps or left over pieces.  Today I started with a piece of glossy cardstock (see last picture in this blogpost), that I had used to test & clean my Distress Markers while making this page.

Zoals gewoonlijk op zondag, maakte ik iets met restjes.  Vandaag begon ik met glanskarton (zie laatste foto), waarop ik mijn Distress Markers had getest en schoongemaakt terwijl ik deze pagina maakte.

The Carved Pod was already there.  I colored the cardstock in rainbow colors, using Distress Markers, and added the Thank You stamp.

De Carved Pod was al gestempeld op het glanskarton.  Vandaag kleurde ik het geheel in regenboogkleuren met Distress Markers.  Een tekststempel erbij afgedrukt.

Wobble Card - Penguins

Here's a wobble card I made for a little girl.

Een wiebelkaart gemaakt voor een kleine meid.

The penguins were stamped with Versafine ink.  I used a Distress Marker and a black pen to color them.  Had to draw an igloo.  To do the cloud I used a stencil from DarkroomDoor.

De pinguïns werden gestempeld met zwarte Versafine inkt.  Ingekleurd met een Distress Marker en een zwart pennetje.  Ik tekende de iglo.  Om de wolk te tekenen gebruikte ik een stencil van Darkroom Door.

I used black Archival ink on glossy cardstock.  To color the images I used Distress Markers.

Lots of birds in the garden.  I spotted this robin.  My camera is alway nearby.

Two small cards, made out of scraps and left over pieces. 

I've used Penny Black dies to cut the brayered paper into squares.  The flower stamp and butterfly are by Darkroom Door. 

Twee kleine kaartjes gemaakt met restjes.  Een Penny Black stans gebruikt om brayerpapier in vierkantjes te snijden.  De bloemenstempel en vlinder zijn van Darkroom Door.

Card sizes are about 2" and 1".

De ene kaart is ongeveer 10 cm, het kleine kaartje 5 cm.

Een spread in mijn Dylusions Dyalog Insert Book gemaakt.

I started with these messy pages, where I had stamped off some stamps, and picked up ink from my glass mat while I made other projects.

Met deze slordige pagina's gestart.  Zoals je misschien weet gebruik ik dit journal om mijn stempels proper te maken en inkt van mijn glasplaat op te nemen terwijl ik andere dingen maak.

I used a stencil from Tim Holtz with Distress Ink Mowed Lawn, but it looked too vibrant as a background.  So I sprayed White Gloss Spray.  And I added a thin layer of white gesso to tone it down.

Eerst met Distress Inkt Mowed Lawn en een stencil van Tim Holtz gesponst.  Dat werd te fel voor een achtergrond.  Dus kregen de pagina's eerst een laagje witte Gloss Spray, en nog een dun laagje witte gesso.

Next I inked up the Butterfly Garden border stamp, using Archival inks Garden Patina and Potty Soil to stamp the edges of the pages.

I needed a 'stencil' to sponge a circle.  I remembered this very old circle cutter somewhere in my stash.  It still does the job :)

Ik had een 'stencil' nodig om een cirkel te sponzen.  Even gezocht naar die heel oude cirkelsnijder, hij werkt nog perfect :) 

The Alphabet Medley set was used to stamp the words.  I also stamped a little butterfly from the Butterflies set

Om de tekst op de cirkel af te drukken gebruikte ik de Alphabet Medley stempelset.  Ook een vlindertje uit de Butterflies set gestempeld en uitgeknipt.

Love using these colors together.

Flowers & Gel Print

Love using gel prints on my cards.  Quick & Easy.

Lekker makkelijk, weer een gelprint als achtergrond gebruikt.

I was going to stamp the Mini Mason Jar, but found one inside the package, where I had used a Tim Holtz stencil on the jar, ready to use.

Ik was van plan om de Mini Mason Jar te stempelen, maar vond een kant en kaar exemplaar in de verpakking, waar ik een Tim Holtz stencil bij gebruikt had.

A stamp from DarkroomDoor's Christmas Bush stamp set was inked up with Distress Markers, and cut out.

Een stempel uit de Christmas Bush stempelset van DarkroomDoor beïnkt met Distress Markers.  Voorzichtig uitgeknipt.

Stamping, stencilling, drawing and waterloring on this birthday card.

Gestempeld, gestencild, getekend en geverfd op deze verjaardagskaart.

A pumpkin stamp was used as a flower.  I used a waterproof black pen to draw the stem.  The stencils I used are from the Country Flowers set.  Sentiment stamps by Darkroom Door.

Een pompoenstempel gebruikt als bloem.  Met een watervast pennetje tekende ik de stengel erbij.  Stencils gebruikt uit de Country Flowers set.  Tekststempels zijn van Darkroom Door.

Make Art Blendable Dye Inks were used with a brush to color the flower and background.
